Yngvara 1
For as much time as Yngvara spent with her longbow she wished there was an easier way to restring it. She leaned against the edge of a table, holding the bare weapon down into a cradle meant to keep it in the proper position while she worked. Deft hands maneuvered a bowstringer around the piece, making sure the wide flat ends carried a loop of cording into it's home at the nocks. While she didn't have to do it often, she usually tried to keep it well waxed and maintained before longer trips. Under normal circumstances that meant a full month or longer with her group, but now she had other concerns.
Once set, Yngvara gave the cord a test pull and when it had reached a good nocking point she set about securing the cord in place. All of her supplies were ready; that part had been easy. The huntress usually had a bag of basic travel necessities ready should the need for a hunt crop up. Rations were on hand, her water skeins had been filled, and all that was left was gathering her weaponry.
Thankfully the Ild'vann was properly stocked. Now that they'd settled in for good the tribe had sought out a proper weapons crafter who worked side by side with their more traditional methods. The forge was open to all, which she took advantage of often, and was ever so grateful that it was vacant for now. It wouldn't be odd to see her here; a perfect cover story.

Silfurvængur 1
Silfi bit her lip as they walked. Yngvara hadn't been in her room, it didn't look like she'd been in the stables, and the last time anyone had seen her she was on her way to the forge. How long ago was that though? What if their sister was already gone and she hadn't told anyone?! Mama is going to be so mad at me. Concerns for her big sister were there, of course, but there was also a roiling tide of guilt deep inside the little one's stomach.
This was going to get really bad for everyone if they didn't fix it. She just had a feeling. The little hybrid was trying her best to keep from crying again, but she couldn't keep the tears back. If anything she was too scared to open her mouth and ask questions. Things were tense enough without someone turning around and snapping at her...

Ziya
Ziya had just returned from the village with an armload of supplies when he noticed his younger sisters running about their property. Both Revna and Silfi seemed rather frantic, their blurred forms through the windows going back and forth as if looking for something or someone. Silfi running about the yard by herself may have not worried Ziya as much but it was rare to see Revna away from a perch and racing after their youngest sibling. Something up? He found himself wondering before placing the fresh ingredients on the highest part of the kitchen counter, making certain none of the family's familiars were going to snatch the goods before heading outside to check on the girls.
"What's going on out here?" A frown crossed his lips as Ziya attempted to wave both of his sisters down from their frantic movements, the young tamer crossing the yard in large strides until he reached Silfi and Revna both. "Did you two lose something?"

Revna 1
Revna was trying her hardest not to panic. Her afternoon fun of messing with Silfi and her plan to enjoy sweets had dissipated the moment she found out from her younger sibling that Yngvara could be in danger. The last thing she wanted was for their older sister to disappear and get into trouble or something worse! We have to stop her! Of course then when they had raced back from the woods to their family's cottage on the outskirts of the village, the pair had found neither Yngvara or Ziya at home.
Hearing about the forge from one of the hunters who had been passing from the village towards the forest had given them some insight, but Revna was finding it hard to remain calm. What if they went all the way towards the forge and wasted more precious time? Yngvara could circle around them and mount up then it truly would be too late! Revna found her thoughts racing until she finally reached out to grab Silfi. "We have to-" She started, struggling to put a plan together, but then thankfully their brother found them.
"Ziya!" Revna was unusually distraught, her raven curls a mess as she tugged Silfi towards their brother. "Yngvara isn't home and may not be coming back home for a long time! What do we do?" They had to race towards the forge now, right? That was the only option that she could think of and if everyone was willing then Revna would race them there!

Silfi 2
“ZIIIIYAAAAA!” Silfi broke away from Revna and ran toward their brother. “I messed up really bad!” Some of Silfi’s words were easier than others to decipher through the tears, and every time the girl took a breath it was shaky. “I thought I wasn’t supposed to tell anyone what I saw, but Revna tricked me into saying it and she said I should have said something a long time ago and now Yngvara’sinreallybigtrouble.”
She took a really big breath, but it was barely enough to get air into her lungs before the child was babbling again. "She got caught hunting where she wasn't supposed to and now their making her go to Jauhar and she might already be gone BUT SOMEONE SAID SHE WAS IN THE-", Silfi took a big breath, "-FORGE. But what if she's already gone?!"

Yngvara 2
With her bow freshly strung, the huntress settled her supplies onto her back and grabbed a few extra bowstrings just in case. Her quiver was full, blades freshly sharpened, and with the rest of her supplies were already with her mount. All Yngvara needed to do now was made it to the Chiavi without drawing suspicion.
Getting out of the forge wasn't difficult, but making it to the stable undetected was. Mostly because of a rather massive, opinionated obstacle; Stjerne. The ebony sermal made it a point to stay on the fringes of the village, both out of an unease around others and the Ild'vann's natural defensive nature when it came to predators. As Yngvara skirted around the fringes of the village Stjerne's form materialized beside her and the overgrown feline gave a rumbling chuff in greeting.
"You can't come with me this time," Yngvara reached out to put a hand on the feline's forehead. "Stay here and protect them, okay? I won't be gone long." When she tried to walk away the sermal made a rumbling noise of discontent and tried to follow, but Yngvara made a shooing motion. "Stjerne; oppholde seg."
For all of Yngvara's attempts to be quiet her companion who was also normally as quiet as the wind itself made another noise. Except this time it was louder and Yngvara sucked in her breath.

Ziya 2
"Woah, calm down there." Ziya held out his hands towards his sisters, trying to both calm and stop the assault of words now that the Silfi dam had broken, "Yngvara is in trouble?" He finally managed once the flood of words finally settled, the older hybrid trying to process everything at once. Ziya could only look between his younger sisters before finally making a decision. "Yngvara is fast, but if she's at the forge she'll have to come back this way. We can catch her and see what's truly happening, okay?"
"Støv, jakt!" Ziya called out with a loud whistle, the dark gray shape of his chiavi diving towards them from the sky. "Stjerne." Even if he didn't have something of Yngvara's on him at the moment they had one good lead - her sermal. Ziya knew the familiar was attached to his sister and more than likely wouldn't be too far away, even if she tried to shoo him. And if there was one creature that lived with them which made Støv very aggressive it was the big feline. Sometimes it felt like a game watching the two of them and other days he wondered if they would have to hold a funeral the next day for one if not both of the familiars.
Either way it did come in handy whenever Ziya had to track down his sister on hunting trips. Støv was an expert at honing in on the sermal and it didn't take long before even Ziya could hear Stjerne's rumbling protests as he followed after the chiavi who was circling in the sky above. "Yngvara!" Ziya's voice rang out across the field as he started towards his sister, " For et sammentreff!" His smile wavered a bit though when he did notice all of the hunting supplies, more than what he expected his sister normally carried. "Going hunting?"

Revna 2
Well, that was a lot at once. Revna could only blink as she waited for Ziya to process everything. When she saw Støv a rare smile crossed her lips and the girl quickly followed along after her brother, tugging Silfi with her so that they could keep up with the chiavi as she circled back towards their home. When Yngvara came into view, Revna let her sister go so that she could instead cross her arms. Even if there was some relief to see Yngvara the amount of supplies made it fairly obvious that Silfi wasn't simply spouting some nonsense! However, Ziya seemed to be the one spouting nonsense now and Revna couldn't help but to slightly roll her eyes before marching forward.
"What are you planning?" The fierce youngling looked at Yngvara, her golden gaze like flaming embers as she looked at the scene before them. She truly had been trying to sneak away! While Revna wasn't exactly angry there was a fire that lit up in her very soul at the sight of Yngvara packed and ready to flee without saying anything to the family.

Silfi 3
The little hybrid nodded her head and looked back to Revna. If Ziya said she would have to come back through then she would, but Yngvara could be really sneaky when she wanted to. There was a strong chance they might not be able to find her at all, and the thought didn't allow the little ones anxiety to let up one bit.
At least, until she saw Støv. It didn't take long for the chase to begin and with the chiavi as their guide they honed in one some familiar shapes, one of which being a sermal who had very clearly seen it's sworn enemy. Stjerne had her ears pinned back onto her head and was side stepping around to put Yngvara behind her, a loud yowl of discontent slipping out before she roared at Støv.
She also didn't miss the way Yngvara let a little curse slip in all the noise.
"I told them everything! I told them about the men who brought you back and about how you were in trouble."

Yngvara 3
Try as she might Yngvara hadn't been able to shake her sermal. While Stjerne was a willful creature she was trained to follow certain orders, and the fact she was choosing now to be stubborn about it didn't bode well for the huntress. The longer she spent around the fussing sermal meant precious time was slipping away from her and that thought sunk in when Stjerne started to growl. This time it wasn't out of frustration so much as it was anger and Yngvara knew why when she looked up.
She'd yet to see Ziya and from this angle she couldn't tell if Støv had a rider. If she bolted now she might be able to reach her own chiavi and push him hard enough to flee. That would just bring more attention to herself, though, and make it even harder for her to leave. As much as she hated it Yngvara stayed put until the inevitable voice of her elder brother caught her ears.
Coincidence indeed.
Ziya may have been able to play off whatever he was here for, but the girls clearly couldn't. His actions might have made her cautious, but theirs set Yngvara's defenses high. "I'm not in trouble; I just have some things to take care of." She tugged on the strap of her pack, adjusting the weight so it wouldn't fall off her shoulder. "I can handle it."

Well so much for a subtle approach. Ziya shook his head at the younger girls before glancing back towards Yngvara with a slight frown. "It's not that I don't trust in your capabilities...but you have to admit it's suspicious that you'd leave home without a word to anyone." He already knew that they were already investigated in this conversation, especially since neither of their younger sisters would drop this willingly now, and so Ziya pushed it a little bit more. Støv circled around them before landing next to her rider, the dark gray chiavi's feathers fluffing out more at being so close to the sermal.
"Can't you at least tell a little bit more? What if we can help out?"" Ziya offered, concern obvious in his gaze as he noticed the amount of supplies that Yngvara had strapped to her back. At least he could offer some help, he was confident in his own fighting and hunting skills as well as any situations that could require a bit of bantering to resolve.

Revna nodded boldly. "Very suspicious!" She frowned as she pointed towards Silfi. "If Silfi hadn't heard anything then we would have never even had a chance before you left!" The girl shook her head with frustration. While maybe her other siblings worried about Yngvara's safety what about them? "What if something happens and we never see you again or it comes back here for us?" She continued, "How can we prepare for anything if you don't tell us?" What if it was going to be a big fight or a rescue mission if things went wrong? Even if Revna didn't want to get involved in reckless situations she wouldn't know what to do if it somehow affected them all the way out here in Zena!

Yngvara 4
Stjerne remained close enough to her mistress for protection from the chiavi, but begrudgingly allowed the other earthlings around. While she was generally dismissive of Yngvara’s family she was never outwardly aggressive toward them except for younger children. Sometimes little ones tended to get excited around big creatures they ought not to touch.
Yngvara’s bright, silver eyes drifted over her siblings before landing on Silfi with a tired frown. She shouldn’t have heard anything let alone enough to cause a stir. “It’s not coming back for you, Revna. This starts with me and no matter what happens it will end with me too.” That much she was sure of. The little lordling was too worried about being found out to tell anyone.
Still, while she knew she could outrun her younger sisters without worry Ziya was different. She had no desire to hurt her brother just to get away from him and lying felt like acid in her gut. “We followed the herd into neighboring lands and were caught. I didn’t know it at the time, but it was Sargsyan territory.” Even now the name didn’t mean much to her, but to most Zenans, especially those with wealth, it meant a great deal. “Thankfully…the one who addressed me was the heir and not the head of their house. He offered me a deal; either I guide him to Matori or the entire hunting party would be put into a cell.”

Silfi 4
"It doesn't have to be just about you," she murmured. Silfi was wringing her hands in the front of her tunic and staring hard at her big sister. Her big sister was the coolest, most bravest lady she knew next to mama and Auntie Iriyana so why was she being so stupid all of a sudden? She didn't know what Sargsyan meant or what land was good land, but she kept hearing things about a boy so maybe that was it?
Was this all because of some boy?
"You shouldn't go anywhere just because someone tells you too! That's not good."

Ziya 4
Ziya winced slightly. "I prefer not to use the term end for anything now." He expressed with worry obvious in his gaze as he looked over Yngvara. He truly did trust his sister's abilities, but the fact that she was being so secretive...well it definitely did bother him. She could be a bit brash and spirits knew that both of their parents had some fierce pride and tempers that had definitely passed down to their children. What sort of trouble could that cause? The very thought had Ziya tense, his mind racing with the possibilities as he tried to figure out the best way to resolve this conversation.
"Dammit." Out of all the places for the hunters to trespass...why such a snotty family with the option to throw them in jail? Still, once the explanation about Matori was out a sigh of relief left Ziya's lips. "Going to Matori shouldn't be such a horrible trip." He managed after a moment, pondering over the words and wondering how far this Sargsyan would take his sister. "Does the heir seem like a trustworthy sort?" He asked finally looking over Yngvara. "Doesn't seem like the best already with threatening you to escort him. Can't someone else guide him or better yet can't I tag along? Been a while since we've seen the beach." Either way it didn't seem like Yngvara should be slipping off without warning like this. Was there more to the story? Even if the story satisfied the younglings, Ziya was hesitant to take it but at the same time he didn't want to push the conversation around the younger ones least they worry even more.
"Unless..." He raised a brow, trying to be playful despite everything. "You're hoping for some alone time with a handsome heir? Is he, handsome that is?" Ziya knew he was giving his sister a reason to scurry away alone, but at the same time he wasn't going to stop her if she had her heart set on something. He simply wanted a way to make sure that she would be coming home or some way to be able to track her if too much time passed without at least a letter.
