Ikaika 1
Their house had been rebuilt more beautiful than ever, rounded mud walls enclosed a big space supported by thick timber beams. It was almost a full family hall in dimensions and he couldn't be more proud of the structure that they had hired other Kahis to help them with.
He was excited for all the new space for all of their projects and for Akea. She was always welcome.

The house was more than he could have hoped for. Having their own space again felt so very good. Like he could breath properly again. He looked admiringly at his mates long broad back. The pair of them were tall even for their tribes and it made them decidedly elegant looking.
He moved up behing Ikaika. "You my dear outdid yourself with the design." He pressed a kiss to his mates cheek. The style was very Ikaika, rustic and strong. Just like his mate.

Ikaika squeezed his mate in a hug, "you were my inspiration." Thanks to Kaiko he never truly felt alone, even though he was sometimes. He just knew that someone always had his back and would telling it to him straight. He burred his face in Kaiko's neck, and took a deep breath in, inhaling his mates earthy soap. It was super comforting and he felt his stress and worries leave him.

Kaiko leaned into him, needing to touch as much as possible. He felt vulnerable, but that was okay so lon g as it was within Ikaika. It was his turn to start something now. He took a deep breath. "You know the only thing this place is missing..is a baby or three." He leaned his forehead against his mate's neck. "I want to have more kids with you Ikaika." He had wanted it for quite some time but by the time he had just about worked up the courage, the mudslide had left them houseless.

His breathing hitched, accompanied by a rush of pure excitement. "I would honestly love that very much Kaiko." He took his mates hand and held it gently in both of his. "I can think of nothing I want to do more with these empty rooms." Just like that they had entered full on mush mode. Their daughter had left them alone for too long it seemed.
He wrapped his arms tight around his mate. This was his home above anything else and it felt so good to let someone roam his heart as freely as he did.

Kaiko grinned and picked him up, carring him into the bedroom. Dark woodsy browns and rich dark greens. Lime and sky accents. It was glorious. Akea had painted forest and water murals in every room.
Everything was brand new, fresh, a restart. He so loved his mate, the one who was always so strong! He wanted more children running around, causing chaos and making noise. To see what new mix nature made in their faces.

He wasn't sure he could love anyone as much as he loved his mate. Kaiko was just his other half and he must say it was exciting to be the one pursued at the moment. He was so enjoying being the damsel.
"Oh dear, here again." He grinned and pinched Kaiko's blue side gently. "You have been working out again I see, no extra fluff anywhere."
He was so pretty!

"Well, there is more than one way to seduce the one you love, I figured if asking didn't work than maybe shaking my booty would." He was happy to see that his mate had noticed his hard work and dieting over the last while. Ikaika was always strong and Kaiko liked the thin layer of cushion on him, not that there was much, Ikaika trained every day still, Kaiko often joined him.
There had been many extra workouts and it had all just paid off for him he was happier than a cat with a large kinfa egg.

"Hah, I doubt you needed to try that hard, in fact I know that you could have crooked your long blue finger at me and I would have come vaulting over the couch for you my love of loves." He caught Kaiko's gorgeous face and kissed him soundly. "You are so very sweet, and I love that I am the only one besides our kid who gets to see exactly how soft you are on the inside and because of that I can be soft too" .

"How dare thee mate, calling me soft after I worked so hard on these muscles for your enjoyment, I am anything but soft. Except yes in my heart for you."
These were the moments where their daughter would run screaming from the room.
He leaned into his mate's long handsome muscly frame and kissed him back.
"Naughty of you."

"Dare to dream," he grinned and wrestled with his love. They spent a few hours of luxury then headed for the large outdoor shower area.
"You know I think this is my favorite part of the house. All the plants, the water, the breeze, that nice riverstone wall you wanted. That was smart, it is so beautiful."
He handed Kaiko a towel then turned the twin showers on. "I found some new soap at the market, olive oil, lightly perfumed, it is very good."

"Oh new soap? That sounds exciting." He brought them both a blue round bar. "Not gonna lie, its pretty cute and it smells good, so long as my skin doesn't hate it, I'm sold, thank you for the surprise." He kissed Ikaika sweetly on his face before his mate could douse himself in the water.
"Why it feels better with wind I'll never know." But he liked their sheltered outdoor shower. Private but free.

"Your welcome!" Giving gifts was part of his love language but Kaiko made it so very easy. "I like finding new treasures for us to enjoy, it lights up your face and I like your face." He smirked and soaped up. 'It does lather rather nicely. Good suddage."
He glanced over at the other shower. "How's it going?" He rinsed his face off. "Not sure what it is about soaps and perfumes but I love them."

"I like them too, such nice smells, and the whole day feel better after a shower. Its going good, I didnt' get soap in my eye this time, miracles."
The water was warm and the garden was on the other side of the wall, making the air full of perfume and life. What a deeply perfect day.
"At least that landslide gave us a mansion, so there is that. A small mansion but perfect."

"Agreed, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be after a job. I'll have to take a few more for a while but I'll make them short trips. High money for being gone when I should be here with you. Will be when the time comes to be. I am not missing any of this time together." It was always good to have some coin set away, Akea had been expensive but she had soon stared helping them out and what a great help she had become. He was so proud of their daughter.
