 Amigar was slowly getting used to the new pace of going to school and running the bakery. Her family had entrusted the family bakery to her while they went on a much needed couples vacation. They were flying to Italy and she really had no idea how long they would be gone. But she was thrilled they were finally getting time together, and that they trusted her with the bakery. Since this bakery was her life and she loved it more than anything. Well she definitely loved the sweets part anyways.
Today though she was thankful she had gotten a good nights rest. Since Saturday's were always busy, but more so today since there was a festival for the year of the rabbit. Her staff had been so busy helping to prepare treats to match the event. Since the theme today was Rabbit, and good luck. They wanted the theme to help start the year of well for their customers. As she unlocked the door the smell of sweets flying through the air hit her nostrils. "Time to open everyone," she said with a bright smile as she flipped the sign and quickly headed to the back of the shop to grab her apron. Since today she was on front staff duty.

It was such a beautiful morning and Korina had been up early doing something she loves (shopping) when she noticed the year of the rabbit festival. Through her shop hopping, she had found a floral perfume she purchased as a birthday present for her mom, a silk tie that would go too perfectly with her dad's button-up dress shirt, and nothing for herself this morning... yet.
Korina walked slowly through the booths, rubbernecking at their ornate products before she smelled something and remembered she'd not eaten this morning. The purple haired girl's stomach grumbled when she noticed a bakery before her. Something sweet was probably not what she needed right now, but the aroma wafting out of the shop caused her to nearly float to the source. It was heavenly.
Shopping bag in hand, Korina entered the bakery and paused to deeply inhale. "Oh my goodness! It smells so wonderful here!" She said, smiling in awe at the array of menu items, many adorably matching the festival. "These are so precious!"

Amigar watched as the first customer of the day entered the bakery doors. She was super excited that someone was ready to enjoy something delicious, and maybe even indulge in one of their new themed Rabbit treats!
After all this was after all the first time she had personally coordinated all of the treats for this event. Normally she had a little bit of her father's insight but this time the credit belonged all to her.
As she heard the new customer's words upon their entry, she got even more excited. Hearing someone mention how wonderful the bakery smelled was always a plus for her. Since she wanted every customer to enter that door and smell the most delightful smells upon entry. This was something her father had taught her. He told her that when it came to baked goods, it wasn't just their appearance that caught a customer's attention, but also the moment they could smell what joys awaited them through that door.
With that in mind she headed towards the counter closest to the customer."Hello, and welcome! If you have any questions, just let me know I'm happy to help!" she said with a bright smile towards the customer. "Oh, and my name is Amigar!"

"Thank you so much! My name is Korina." The purple-haired girl said, eyes wide in excitement at the array of baked goods before her. She, and everyone in Destiny City she was sure, could hear her stomach growl lowly and loudly. She blushed and put a hand over her stomach as if it would dull the sound.
"Sorry about that. I guess I'm hungrier than I thought!" Korina giggled a bit and pointed to one of the adorable rabbit treats that had caught her attention. "I think I'd like to try one of these. Or do you have a favorite? Everything looks and smells amazing!"

"Korina, now that is a beautiful name!" Mira said with a smile. She truly had never heard that name before but she definitely loved it! Not only the name made her smile, but the fact she looked so excited to try some of their goods. Well that in itself made her happy, since she wanted everyone who walked in her doors to be excited.
As she heard Korina's stomach growl she quickly reached down and grabbed one of her adorable rabbit treats for her that she had pointed at. "It's totally okay! Don't worry at all. Honestly being around all this food makes me hungry sometimes too," she said before responding sincerely, "oh and I love them all really but these two are really great."
Quickly she reached for a few Rabbit themed Mini Cream Puffs with cute little ears and a light Strawberry Puff Pastry that she had written 'fortune, happiness, and health' in Chinese characters on it.
"These two sweets are really light and they melt in your mouth," she said as she placed the second plate right in front of her. The smells coming off the treats were delicious, and honestly she couldn't wait till later when she had a few herself.
It was then she realized she might be overwhelming her customer. So she quickly said, "Oh and don't worry these desserts are on the house. After all we have to treat our first customer today with some good luck. Oh and there anything you'd like to drink?"
After she asked the question she hoped that would put them at ease since sometimes she talked a lot. Sweets were after all her passion and sharing them with others was her joy. Not only that but she also wanted to give them a chance to try the desserts she had set out. At least one little bite anyways. Xevra Oh no worries! =D Tag. sorry for the wait School got me again lol.

"Thank you so much! Mira is such a pretty name too!" Korina smiled at the baker.
She could feel her mouth watering as Mira retrieved the treats."Thank you so much, they look amazing!"
Korina's smile widened in excitement at the delicious smelling treats before her.
It was then Korina began to grab for her wallet when her hostess said they were on the house - how sweet! She was so moved by the sweetness of the gesture.
"Oh my goodness! Just a water, please, and thank you so much, Mira!" Korina said excitedly before popping one of the rabbit puffs in her mouth.
How had it taken her this long to come in?? She was definitely going to have to stop in more regularly. That puff was like a bite of heaven.

"Aww well thank you. You are too sweet," Mira said with a smile. It was nice to hear someone liked her name and her desserts. It was official her day was already off to an even more amazing start!
Mira quickly ran behind her, grabbed a glass, scooped some ice from the cooler, and then pressed the water until the glass was almost full. She put the cup in front of Korina and placed a straw beside it. "There ya go, a cold glass of water for ya!"
As she watched her take a bite of her treat she just had to ask, "So what do you think?"
She couldn't help but ask. After all any feedback, good or bad, could help her figure out new desserts to make or changes that needed to be done to that one. Since in her job the most important thing was making sure she heard her customers. After all she made these treats to see smiles on their faces after all.

That bright smile crossing Korina's face had yet to budge.
"Thank you!" She nodded before grabbing the straw and cup. The water was the perfect way to refresh after these sweet treats.
Korina giggled, "Sooo good! Do you have a rewards program?"

"Yes, of course!" she replied with a smile, happy that she was enjoying everything. Today it definitely seemed like they had another very satisfied customer, and hopefully one that would come back in the future.
Then a light sparked in her head. The rewards program almost slipped her mind since she had enjoyed their conversation so much. It was a relatively new program at the shop, but they made it so everyone could get something they loved just by stopping by.
"We sure do! Give me one second, and I'll be right back!" Taking a quick walk over to the register, she picked up a pretty blue and pink punch card. On the card, she punched out one of the six holes using the punch near the register. After that, she headed back to where Korina was seated.
"Here you go! A little old-fashioned, but we like simplicity. Every three visits you get something from us, and each card holds six punches. Plus the best part is - it's your choice too! You can pick anything off our menu." She gently handed the card in her direction.Xevra Oh no worries at all! I hope your week got better! =)
