It was strange at first. Strange to wake up, strange to feel the desire to wake up. Honestly, Ersa didn’t feel any different than when she had first gone to sleep, and she expected to see the faces of those who had made the decision to put her into stasis, but…no, that wasn’t what had woken her.

There was a light…a bright spot of something and she hummed to herself, following it, feeling rather half asleep.

So much must have happened…she felt as though she were going a long distance, but…that was okay. Perhaps it was Lysithea who had come to wake her, perhaps she was being taken to Lysithea to visit her cousin! That would be nice.

The light was warm. The trip was comfortable.

When it was over and Ersa opened her eyes, she was excited to see the beautiful landscape of Lysithea stretching out in front of her but…

But this was far to cold to be Lysithea…and far too…brown. And ugly. Gray and ugly. Just. Ugly.

Blinking in utter confusion, Ersa glanced around the area that she had appeared in. It seemed to be a forest…or…at least a large collection of trees, it was…the trees were dead. Or they looked dead. There were no friendly leaves swaying in the breeze, and the breeze itself was…awful. It was cold! Far, far too cold.

“...Hello?” Her voice was confused as she called out, not knowing who or…what would answer…but. This wasn’t Lysithea…or Ersa…so it had to be somewhere else but…she didn’t know anyone else, not really.

She hadn’t had a chance to meet any of the other Jovians, and the only reason she had any relationship with Lysithea was the fact that they were cousins by blood, their mothers being sisters. It was nice having a cousin who could explain things to her, though she had often been busy with affairs on her own Moon, which…made sense given that she was the Princess there and had to help out with…everything.

It also…was so hard sometimes, being compared to Lysithea. How could anyone ever be as good as she is? How could she have possibly lived up to those expectations…it really…it hadn’t been fair. Still, Lysithea was family...so fair didn’t matter. One day Ersa would be as good of a guardian to her own moon as Lysithea was to hers, they were different people. Maybe one day her mother would realize that too and stop putting so much pressure on her…she was only a new senshi after all!

Ersa sighed softly and scuffed her shoe on the ground, confused by the presence of leaves there…dead leaves, but…still. It meant that there must be some life here…and that had to be good, right?

It had to mean something...and…

Her head snapped up as she felt the shine of another Senshi nearby, someone strong. It must be Lysithea, that was such a relief. With a little shake to release some of her nervous tension, Ersa began to move towards the aura, a grin on her face.
