Hobbies: Photography - Balance, color, beauty. Pictures capture time itself. Nate enjoys taking photos of various things, things that spark his interest. Everything from people to places, items to spaces, are well within his preference. It is also a good outlet for his artistic side of his personality, as he tends to notice how, especially commercial locations, are designed to please the eye.
Cooking - While cooking is primarily his mother’s domain he has picked up a few tricks. He enjoys cooking for friends and family, mainly because it makes him happy when they find his food delicious. It is a physical, tangible, representation of his love for others.
Whittling - Nate likes working with his hands, making primarily small wooden animals like rabbits or foxes. He isn’t very good at it as far as he is concerned, but he still tries. Creating something from nothing. Besides, they are cute and it is a relatively cheap hobby.
Virtues:Faithful - Nate remains loyal and steadfast to his friends and family, those he has taken into his confidence. Those that are part of this circle know that he is a man who will always be there to help them move, a shoulder to lean on, and a couch to sleep on.
Practical - He is sensible and realistic in his approach to a situation or problem. Nate isn’t the kind of man to be enamored with fairytales and fables, he would much rather learn history and science. Reliable - Putting it simply, being reliable means that if Nate says he will do something, he will do it. He is known as a person who can be trusted to follow through with both the little things and much bigger things. If he says he will be somewhere, he will be there. If he states he will fix it, he will fix it. He might not be the best or the brightest but he is, and always will be, the workhorse that will not quit.
Flaws: Stubborn - Once he has a plan or thought in mind he is rather obstinate when it comes to changing it. Honestly it's best to either let him do as he wishes, as long as it won't be deadly, or be prepared to spend HOURS or a straight up fight to convince him otherwise. His family used to joke that it would be simpler to move a mule who has its heels dug in then it was to convince Nate to change his mind.
Overprotective - For Nate his friends and family are everything to him. They are his whole world. He would give them the shirt of his back but this also means that he would run into a burning building to save them. He would risk his own life if it meant saving one of them. He also tends to be a bit of a ‘father’ to his group of friends by reminding them to bring their coats on cold nights, don’t drink too much, do their work, go to the doctors, ect. It can be rather annoying but those that know Nate know that it comes from a place of love, it's just rather overbearing when he actually shoves a scarf at you and tells you to put it on.
Compliant - Nate is typically inclined to agree with others or obey rules; to go with the flow. If he didn’t have a plan in place he is more than willing to just be dragged along. Don’t ask him what he wants for dinner, or where he wants to go. He will just shrug and return the question. Other than the few times when he becomes stubborn with regards to what he wants to do or thinks, he doesn’t mind if others just give him the instructions, rules, and guides to follow. He is not a leader that is for sure.

X Face: Strong jaw but clean shaven. Freckles bridge his nose, but don’t stand out overly much, which is a little unaligned from being broken in the past. He has both ears pierced but one side has a double piercing, one on the lobe the other on the shell of the ear. He has been known to wear a connected earring in both piercings on that side.
Skin Tone: Tan-ish. He has naturally tan skin as he is of Indian descent on his mother’s side but he is also of mixed heritage; Indian, Irish, Britain in general… even some far Asian if the whispers were true.
Body Type: Thin-ish. He is average really. He could lose some weight but isn’t considered overweight (about 155 lbs or so). Not really buff as he is primarily sedentary for his work but he does walk/goes to the gym to offset the unhealthier thing he eats and to actually get up and out from behind his computer.
Height: He is of average height for a UK male at 5’ 8”.
Voice/Accent: British, normally kept fairly light and casual but when angry or needing to be forceful for something it gets very firm and surprisingly deep. If you think of the accent from Lucifer, the tv show, you're pretty spot on.
Actor Tom Ellis from LuciferClothes: Nate tends to dress in comfortable clothes, jeans and tshirts, but he has been known to clean up pretty nicely when needed. His style is less a ‘style’ and more what fits, what is comfy, and what doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Off the rack suits for things like church events or business meetings, they fit but they aren't exactly top shelf.
