Having been given leave to explore surrounding areas for new sources of more herbs and flowers that aren't so commonly available in and around her home village, Eulalia packed up some supplies and provisions and set off that day. While she knew the landmarks of the surrounding villages and some of the nearby herd stomping grounds, she wanted to venture away from there to see if she'd find any more success. Of course, there was also the unstated expectation to keep looking for her own next steps, but she knew that. She was looking, she was. The gentle nudging was good natured, but she didn't need the consistent reminding. Some space to breathe and think was welcome. The fledgling medic had left with first light and had kept in the direction she set herself for the majority of the day. Now, as the sun was starting to creep toward the horizon and the sky began to take on pinks and purples in the fading day, Eulalia stood atop of a rise overlooking a quiet valley below. She was waiting to see if she could see any light sources or smoke curling up from fires from camps, herds, or villages that may be peppered amid the trees. If her inkling to check didn't work out, she'd simply go try to find someplace to have a meal and bed down for the night. Ideally, there'd be an inn or other place she could find lodging, but if not, it would be far from the first time she's had to bed down under the stars. If she could find a local or someone more familiar with the area, she could get pointers or ideas of where and what to do next. Regardless of her pondering ahead over the possibilities of the next few hours, the view of the sunset from the overlook was a welcome break after all of her walking. A thoughtful hum escaped her as Eulalia took a glance around. She had a pretty good vantage of the area, sitting down wouldn't change her view too much. With a flick of her tail, she rocked to sit. This would do for the time being.
