When you look at SOAD you got:
Serj-The enrgetic frontman with some pretty intresting, if not radical viewpoints, and he's got "the voice"(The voice that can go from demon roar, to high pitched cartoon squeal in 1 second)
Daron-The REALY energetic, if not crazy guitarist that, quite simply, is insane on stage. And is even stranger in real life.Also the main star of a lot of fanfics.
Shavo-The bald beloved bass player for the group. Sporting no hair, but making up for it with his "repunzel" type goatee. Known for making strange poses and faces, yet likes to keep silent in person.
THEN
you have John. A drummer, an anchor of normality in this seemingly crazed sea of originalty.
So, discuss:
Why you think John is/isn't the oddball.

He wants to keep concentrating on the temp and rhythm. He doesn't get stoned before shows and he doesn't drink heavily before shows because he doesn't want his skills to be altered by drugs.
Have you noticed that he is the only one who doesn't use drugs? There's gotta be one sane one, you know? The one who translates the other three's crazy talk, right?

well he just loves making music. he has fun with the others he's just a littlemore quiet. but on fuse and other interviews he has been known to say a word or two

He does seem pretty out of place. But you can tell he's still like the band in amany ways: strong, artistic, and of course musical. I know they all are good friends but Serj, Daron, and Shavo were all buds before they met John. They all went to school together and just sort of came across John when they were looking for a drummer. I doubt the fact that he has less history with the other three has much to do with his quiet nature but it may have something to do with it.

I consider Jogn to be just as special as the rest for the simple fact that he's so normal next to them. If that makes sense. I mean, really, how can he still be sane? I admire his courage.

Well John really seem different... Daron, Serj and Shavo has their own unique images, while John looks like a normal person/(Maybe the unique thing about him is his personality...maybe....................maybe we can gather information about him.....

No, he isn't out of place. He is right where he belongs: with his fellow band mates and friends.
Besides, just because he doesn't do drugs (Thank God. >__>), doesn't mean he is the odd one out. Him and Shavo are huuuge video game/comic book fans. In a Rolling Stones article I have posted on the poster board, that they have big warehouses full of comics and video games, if I remember correctly.
If somebody PMs me someday and reminds me to scan, or type out the article, I'll do it.
I'll be in Pittsburgh Friday (March 31st) till Sunday (April 2nd).

well...from i only heard...i heard that on John is that one that has GF..but oh well he does really fit with the team anyway ^^ its probably his friendship with Daron, Serj and Shavo..
