Liylasa was in the markets searching for some supplies, her pack feeling a bit too light for her liking. She had been looking for gear for spelunking, thinking that she was sorely missing treasures left to caves and tunnels. While her treasures of the shore had been traded for more high quality items, she figured spelunking would give her some of the same feeling she had searching for shells on the shore. Liylasa wandered through the shops, glancing in casually until coming upon a shop with some small creatures. She thought of her time a while ago with Tethys, and his own Keldari friends. She had been a lot younger then, and wondered if she ever would see the boy again. She wanted to show him that she was a lot more grown now. A whole lot older!
"Hm hm. I wonder if he shops here or not. I guess I could ask. Or maybe visit." She'd gotten busy with her parents from their initial encounter and felt bad that she hadn't been able to go back in several years.

Tethys had in fact just been dropping off a batch of keldar from Lurk and Slink’s latest litter at the shop to be sold to his own profit. It was lovely weather outside for a change after a few big storms had rolled through and he was looking forward to a bit of a walk around town. He thanked the attendant and turned to leave the little petshop by the sea.
He paused spotting a girl outside looking in. He bobbed his head politely. Lovely looking lady, something familiar tickled his memory, the shade of hair and the tone of crystals reminded him of a long ago encounter. But his treasure hunting friend hadnt contacted him after that shell treasure encounter.

Liylasa spotted the familiar face and gasped out, pointing in his direction. She waved her arm up and down as she continued her point, all vigorous motion and excited squeals. She probably looked like a wild woman bouncing around the shop and promptly slipped out in an attempt to get the boy to notice her. Liylasa figured if it was indeed Tethys he wouldn't recognize her - she was much older now after all. She'd been a bit of a small fry, and now she thought she'd grown well enough. Though by the looks of it he looked much taller than her still. "Hey wait!"

Well, he was now pretty sure it was her. The little treasure hunter from the beach! "Liylasa!" He crowed. Rushing into the store, he gave her a hug, "How have you been boss?" He smirked, she wasn't really his boss more like his partner..or that was if she still wanted him to help her hunt for treasures. "How have you been? It seems like forever moons ago that we last saw each other, I'm sorry I got really busy at the ranch and my niece was kidnapped and we are still looking for her its been a year! And more children were added to the family. Just so much to tell you!"

"Tethys!!!" Liylasa exclaimed, jumping up and wrapping her arms tight around his neck. "It's so good to see you!!" She laughed and hung to him, bag bouncing against her shoulder as she held on. Liylasa looked up at Tethys as he rambled off what was going on in his life, eager to absorb all of the information available to her. "I've been helping my family with things. And planning on hunting treasure in more dangerous places. I'm getting gear for it and everything. Real official business here!"

"Oh! Well if you are ramping up, I will have to accompany you, that is if you still want an assistant?" He tilted his head in question. He hoped she said yes. He was well overdue for a good adventure. "I need some time out of the house! Too many family members lurking about all the time. I've been dragged into more chores than you can shake a stick at." He hugged her tight then let go. She was as exuberant as ever and he couldn't stop smiling.

"Of course I want an assistant. You're always my favorite one after all," Liylasa chuckled, bumping her arm against his. If he needed a chance to escape a stuffy family she was willing and able to assist in the endeavor. Her own duties had been finished up earlier so she had all the free time in the world. Within reason, according to her father. To her that meant do what she wanted, as long as she didn't die! She could probably get away with that, especially with a big strong guy like Tethys around. "To be my assistant is always an honorable position, and you always do so well," she nodded, attempting to be the most reassuring.

Yup, she was still adorable. That at least had not changed. She was taller and if possible cuter. Graceful and hyper as ever. He wished it hadn't been so long in between but she was sure stuck with him now. Excellent. Her energy was so refreshing. He bowed low before her. "At your service, my lady." She had always been fun to be around. "What shall we do first team?" He smiled.

"Well honestly I was getting gear to go look into a rumor I'd heard about. A few of the merchants passing through were telling me about some caves that people used to hide things in! I don't know how true that really is, but thought it was worth a search. If you aren't too worried about spooky caves that it," she grinned, nudging him with her elbow. Liylasa didn't think Tethys was the type to get scared easily, but looks could be deceiving. He could be afraid of the dark for all she knew. "So how about it? Want to go get lost somewhere?"

"I could go for some cave exploration, no doubt about it. Its been dead boring without you, I'm so very glad we ran into each other, besides you need your assistant." He nodded affirmation and offered his arm for her to hold. "To the caves?" He was rediculously excited, for once he forgot to worry about various family members and excessive ongoing dramas. There was nothing but Liy, himself and a cave that was begging to be explored! This was arguably the best day ever.

Liylasa grabbed hold of Tethys' arm eagerly tugging him out of town. There was no worrying about it now when he agreed! She was glad she had decided to buy a bit of extra rope for special occasions, and this was definitely special. Their first big treasure hunting adventure. "So the caves are a bit of a walk. If they were easy to get to the treasure would already be gone, of course," she explained, hand waving around as she spoke.

"That makes sense, fortunately I'm pretty hard to discourage terrain wise. Maybe there will be a puzzle we have to solve? People try their best to protect special treasures." He wondered where she got the info that there was anything in the cave. "I am so excited." He liked that she grabbed his arm, reinforced that she wanted him with him, though she was always so joyful he hadn't suspected otherwise. He wanted to spend all the time with her and forget his familial worries for a good long while.

"A puzzle would be fun. Though I don't think I've ever really done a puzzle before. Maybe I should train more on puzzles if you think there will be more treasures blocked by them," Liylasa beamed, considering the possibilities. She liked not worrying about anything but searching for treasure, and planned to make it big off of being the best. While the walk there wasn't interesting, once she'd arrived at the cave with Tethys she couldn't stop the excited energy that made her bounce. "It's so biiiiiiig," she exclaimed, laughing as her words echoed down the cave. "And deep!"

"Quite mysterious I'd say." He peered into the cave with her, "Caution would be best I think. Slowly as she goes for the first while until we know what we are up against, though it was certainly no picnic getting here. I like rough terrain though. It's more challenging, what I don't like are potential booby traps."
He liked all of his limbs as they were; whole and intact.
"But I have to admit I haven't been this excited over anything since my brother's kids were born."

Liylasa made a face at the mention of kids. She didn't know if she would get excited about kids, but then again she was an only child. She liked things how they were, and kids sounded like a big responsibility. Ignoring that little thought for now, Liylasa inched further into the cave, taking it slow like Tethys had recommended. It was dark here, but not so dark she couldn't see in front of her face. She didn't know what was inside, but she would find it. "Maybe look near the walls? I don't think anything would be very easy to find. That would just be bad treasure hiding," she nodded, glancing back at him and grinning.
