The aura that Tristan felt was…odd. Not bad, just different and she wasn’t quite sure what it could be, and when the senshi in question came into her sights, she still wasn’t quite sure what she could be.
She lacked the long hair and holes in her chest and forehead, but she wore black…even if it was covered by what looked to be white…gauze or something.
For a long, and rather awkward moment, Tristan stared at the woman in question, going so far as to circle her, inspecting every inch that she could see, and finally she shrugged. “I give up…you’re not a corrupted senshi…but you’re not of the White Moon, I can tell that…”
Her mind tried to search for the answer, and finally what she hoped was the right answer slid into place. “Are you one of the mirror crew? I’m not sure that I’ve ever met one, and if I have I don’t remember them so, hi. I’m Tristan. I…now realize I was being kind of creepy, and I apologize for it.”
She gave a grin and held a hand out. They weren’t the enemy, so there was no reason that they shouldn’t be her friend.

Well. Okay. Being stared at was weird, but Asuka guessed she could handle it. She pushed her hair away from her face--powering up always seemed to make it go Full Onryo, loose and stringy and in-her-way, and no matter how much adjusting she did, it fell right back that way as soon as she stopped paying attention-- and flashed a polite, if slightly nervous smile.
And, anyway, it seemed like a bad idea to challenge someone stronger than her. Especially someone Negaverse. Crazy.
"Yeah, uh, hi!" ASuka said, and she lifted a hand up and waved. "I am one of those Mirror crew people." She paused, briefly. "And, uh. Kinda creepy is better than punching me, so I'll take? It?" She shrugged and smiled, much less nervously, and took the offered hand.
"I'm Asuka. Nice to meet you."

Tristan grinned and nodded. “It’s nice to meet you too, Asuka. I would never punch you, I’m not really the violent type, but if you ever need help you can reach out to me! We should all stick together, that’s my way of thinking” It made sense, they might not be the same…species or…whatever but. They were all on the same side. Wanted more or less the same things.
“Have people been punching you often? Tell me who and if I see them, I’ll make sure that I punch them for you. Or. Whatever. I’m not the violent type, I literally just said that but…I don’t like bullies either, and if you’ve been dealing with that…well. I don’t mind being your hero! Friends have to help one another.”
Not that they were friends yet but…they could be, and honestly? If Tristan had her way…they would be.

This was nice. This was so nice. Asuka was really enjoying this thing where she didn't get attacked, and in fact felt like she might be making a friend. All of this was super nice, and very exciting, and something that she was really, really glad for.
"Um, well," Asuka said, "not...super often? But there was this one chick in, like. the most Christmas elf outfit--very cute, but also very seasonal, you know? And I guess she has a grudge against the Dark Mirror because some Dark Mirror girl I don't even know broke her heart. Crazy, right?" She shook her head, and groaned. "So yeah, I guess I could really use some backup."
She huffed. "How do I call you? Is it like, a batsignal thing? Or what?"

Tristan laughed softly. “Well if you trust the Senshi of trust, who is me. Hi. If you trust me, I don’t mind being friends outside of costume too, so I was thinking, you know, normal things like exchanging phone numbers.”
Honestly, she was amused, but kind of did enjoy the idea of having a bat signal, that would be…
Kind of fantastic, honestly. “If you’re not cool with that though,” And here, Tristan let her powered form drop, stretching slightly and withdrawing her phone. “I can just text you if you give me your number. I’m Faeth when I’m not…you know. In uniform. But no pressure. Worst comes to worst I can just like, give you my number and if you need me you can call me. Nothing scary with that.”

Asuka laughed, too. It was probably a big act to trust someone else with her civilian identity, but...well...
"Yeah, okay, I trust you." Even thoguh they'd only met a little bit ago. Even though she'd never shown anyone else, except the Senshi that Awakened her. But Faeth had done it first, and so it seemed like reciprocity was only fair.
She took a breath. Let go of her transformation. Stood in front of Tristan--Faerth--as herself.
"Hi, I'm Reiko," she said, and she fished her phone out of her pocket and offered it over for them to trade. "Maybe we can like, hang out not in magical life or death situations too. Have you ever done urban exploration? It's super fun."

Faeth grinned and plugged her number into Reiko’s phone, shaking her head. “Not that I know of, but if you’re offering to take me, I’m completely game!”
New hobbies would always help, and she wasn’t going to turn down something that interested her new friend, especially when she was making such an effort to be friendly. “I’m game for anything, honestly. I hope that you like baked goods, because…and I think I’m going to just put this on my warning label but there’s a bakery that I love and I will be dragging you there at some point, that’s a threat, not a promise. I am threatening you with delicious baked goods. Beware.”
She waggled her brows and held the phone back out, laughing and feeling as though she were filled with bubbles. This…was wonderful.

Rekio nodded, eagerly. "I'd love to. It's even extra fun powered up, because you can use all that magic strength and stuff to get to places you normally wouldn't be able to. So we can do it either way!"
This was lucky, honestly. Who could have predicted that she'd run into someone who was so cheerful and friendly and willing to spend time with her, just by wandering around? It wasn't like she had a ton of friends in her civilian life--people she did urbanex with, a couple other paranormal hobbyists she'd met.
"And baked goods sound amazing. I'll hit you up this weekend, if you're free? We can get some treats and then go climb around an abandoned factory. It'll be awesome."
What a thing to look forward to. But she was excited. And as she took her phone and passed Faeth's back, she was already planning exactly where they could go.
