Hati had been struggling to get out lately, but tonight was different. The air was freezing, and he loved it like this. It felt, oddly, like home. Especially if it got misty. He patrolled the darkness, keeping his extra sense out for any dark auras. The moment he felt one, he sprang into action, leaping towards it as fast as possible. He stayed quiet as he approached, waiting to see what the person he sensed was up to. The answer typically was "no good", but in case they were someone that wanted to be swayed to the other side, he wouldn't charge in bullheadedly. And even though the aura was stronger than he was, Hati was certain he could handle himself in a fight.

There were a couple of pieces to the plan that Xenia had begin to formulate for herself. Piece one: She was defintiely stronger than the aura she could sense. Piece two: whoever it was would totally underestimate her because she was a tiny girl in a floofy skirt. Piece three: if all else fails, cry as loudly as possible. Crocodile tears were magic.
So she was not at all worried about the aura she sensed approaching, as she pulled energy and let her target slump over, unconscious. The poor woman really was sweet, had just wanted to help what looked like a lost girl, and it was very unfortunate that she had run into Xenia, and not someone that actually needed her aid.
"Sorry," she said, and there was a little too much cheer in her voice as she set the woman down, "but I hope you still keep being nice to strangers! It doesn't always go badly."
....Not that her target could hear her, but oh well.

Hati inhaled sharply when he saw the Corrupt Senshi draining someone. He knew there was no good reason for a Chaos aura to be crawling around. He tried not to judge right away; some people wanted to escape, after all. But this... this was... He shook his head with disgust as he approached. He could not stand for someone actively participating in the harm of civilians. No matter what it was. He would make them stop somehow, he had to. Standing by was never an option. "You could've just done nothing in the first place," he said as he got close enough. "Moor Stalk." Quote: A deafening silence settles over everyone within a ten foot radius. Shortly after the silence falls, a single, deep bark echoes through the area, and suddenly every enemy within the radius feels like they are being watched by a large, dangerous creature. The silence can be disorienting; no matter how loud anything is, while the magic is in effect they cannot hear anything but the bark--and maybe the sound of something heavy breathing just behind them. Paranoia, anxiety and fear for the invisible thread are prominent for the duration of the magic, and may persist for longer if the player desires. This attack affects all enemies within ten feet and lasts for twenty five seconds; it can be used three time per battle.

Xenia whirled to face the interloper, and was about to run her mouth to sass him, but--
Everything went dead silent, and she felt a chill crawl up her spine. Okay, this was definitely magic, and it was definitely terrifying, and she could hear barking. Briefly, she wondered if this was somehow connected to the dogs that had menaced her the month before, but...that seemed a little unlikely, all things considered. Still. She let out a breath, closed her eyes, and focused--and though she couldn't herar herself call her attack, when she opened them, the lavender bubble had popped up to protect her, and she crossed her arms, tapping her foot and waiting.
It wasn't hat she wasn't still afraid, she was--but some kind of stalking predator wouldn't be able to get through her shield, and even if it could, she wouldn't be able to hear them to grant permission. So! Totally safe!
...Probably. She hoped.Quote: Sailor Xenia speaks the name of her attack, and a pale lavender bubble appears around her. In order to enter the bubble, touch Xenia, or cast on her, enemies and allies alike must ask politely and be granted permission, otherwise the bubble functions as a shield that deflects physical and magical attacks. The bubble lasts for 30 seconds and has a radius of 5 feet. Xenia can use this attack three times per battle.

Hati wrinkled his nose when the bubble appeared, but chose not to try to attack it. He had a feeling it would not end well for him. At least she wasn't moving, though, so he took the opportunity to check on the poor woman that the other senshi had been draining and make sure she was alright. Once the civilian was tended to and he was certain she would be alright, just tired, he hauled her to a bench further down the way and waited. A few moments later, her magic ended, and then he knew his was also over. "Does making people sick make you feel better about your own sad, miserable life?" he asked with raised brows, standing protectively in front of the bench.

Xenia counted, and waited, and when his magic faded, there were still a few seconds left on hers. But she let it expire, put her hands on her hips, and rolled her eyes.
"You are the lamest a*****e--my life is great, actually." And then, with absolutely zero fear--yeah, he was bigger than her, but she was stronger, enhanced by the Negaverse, and totally capable of ripping out his soul if she got really pissed at him, so there was always an exit strategy for her--she strode up to him, drew back her fist, and threw a solid punch at his solar plexus.
"I don't need to feel better about anything, but when dumb, self-righteous jackasses start deciding my life is oooh, so sad and pathetic because they're lame and boring and have worse insults than a Youtube comments section--" and she drew her first back, and swung it again--"I do get a little bit cranky!"

Oof. Okay, she certainly packed a punch—or two. He wheezed as oxygen was forced from his lungs twice in quick succession, falling to one knee. "At least I'm not hurting people to please some kind of abyss monster that will never be satisfied," he said through gasps and coughs. "That thing you call Metallia will only let you be happy on a temporary basis." His vision danced a little and he had the faint thought that he should probably try to stop talking and just let himself breathe, so he focused on gulping in air. Maybe his words would get to her, maybe they wouldn't. Likely they wouldn't. But he had to try. Plant the seed or whatever. He'd say it again and again if it made people think for a second and realize that the dark entity they served would only let them be happy as long as it kept them feeding it. Once it was hungry and none could feed it... Well.

"You talk too much," Xenai said. He was down, now, and that made it easier for her to reach out and slide a hand into his chest. Her fingers wrapped around his starseed, and she squeezed. "But you're really, really lucky, because I don't feel like killing you."
She gave the precious little gem one last squeeze, and then withdrew her hand, bringing it up and around to knock him in the back of the head.
"Now why don't you stay down, and I'll leave you here to think about why you shouldn't ******** with people who can pull your soul out of your chest, hmm? Good doggy."
The "doggy"t hing was a guess, but his magic had come with ethereal barks and his outfit had fur, so.....she didn't think she was all that off the mark.
But she didn't pause to see what he said, just darted off into the night. No need to waste any more time on him.
