Etamin sighed. He had been sensing his good friend Osiris in town for a few days now and he had been putting off meeting him. But it was now or never. He had to admit to him what he had done on his homeworld of Etamin so long ago and accept what judgement his friend the Senshi of Justice would give him. He dialed his friend's number. "Hey Osiris, we've got to talk. It's very important." His voice was deadly serious.

 Deme was in the middle of his law class when he heard his phone vibrate in his pocket. No one ever called or texted him during class so it must be important, he reached into his pocket. Only he realized it was his Senshi phone and not his regular cell. He hid the phone under the tabletop in front of him and saw Etamin was calling him. He quietly listened to the message and realized it had to be important. He raised his hand quickly, explained to his teacher he had an emergency, and rushed out of class. He shoved all his books in his bag as he ran and looked for the nearest spot he could transform.
Then he saw a huge group of bushes that were as tall as him, he quickly raced in and transformed into Osiris. Then he quickly texted his friend back, "I'm on my way. ETA:5 minutes." After that, he dashed out of the bushes and ran as quickly as he could to the location where Etamin normally roamed around, he hoped he was right or his eta would be a lot longer.

 Etamin was standing in a park in his Eternal Form, when he saw Osiris. He waved him down, but it was not a 'happy' wave. Etamin motioned his friend into a circle of tall bushes and trees that hid a park bench, and it was obviously that many people went there or knew where it was, it was so hidden. It would be a good place for two Senshi to just talk without attracting too much attention - unless someone else who was powered came along. Hopefully that wouldn't happen. "I trust I wasn't interrupting anything important, right?"

Osiris had finally arrived and had to take a moment to catch his breath. That was a lot more he had run in a long time he was a little rusty that was for sure. Nowadays he only ran from his dorm to his classes which were not near as far.
Osiris waved back to his friend, but he noticed something was off with his friend's wave it wasn't normal. Now he knew it had been a while but still this wasn't like him. Whatever it was must be of grave importance.
"Nah just law class, I'm ahead anyways, and as far as my teacher knows It's a family emergency," he said with a slight smirk. He didn't want to tell his friend every bone in him was shaking about rushing out of class and he just hoped his parents didn't find out. But whatever it was had to be important.
"So what was it you needed to talk to me about?" he said a little curious since he hadn't heard from his friend in a bit.

Etamin motioned for Osiris to sit and he did as well. Then he stared into the distance or rather a time and place that were not the present. "Osiris, I've been restoring my Homeworld a lot lately... and with that comes... Memories - of a former life as you may know - or in my case, a former death..." This did not seem to be a joke, or anything funny- Etamin was deadly serious. "Osiris - many of us - you, me, Pasithee, Leaena, Shedir, a Deep Space Senshi by the name of Sekhmet (whom you need to meet) and also my Bonded Mauvian Darius Ammun (who you also need to meet), among others, were a part of a Court called the Court of Ra - and we were a Family - Until I blew it. I did something incredibly foolish, and everyone paid greatly for it..." His face was full of pain, and sadness...

Osiris decided to just be there and listen to his friend. Since until he had all the facts at hand he wasn't going to judge anything. Maybe this mistake wasn't really a foolish mistake or who knew maybe it needed to happen. The world can work that way sometimes.
Now he had heard of people gaining memories but never had met anyone who had so he found it interesting. Especially since these past memories contained his past life in them. He hadn't learned much about that yet, and this was actually the first time he was hearing about the court of Ra.
"Okay, Interesting, do continue," he said kindly hoping his friend knew he was in a no-judgment zone. After all, justice can't be decided until you hear all the facts. Even the not-so-pleasant ones.

Etamin nodded. "Part of Sailor Etamin's Job - my job - was to search out, research, catalogue, protect, and if necessary, destroy powerful artifacts that no longer had owners. One a famous, powerful long-lost relic of the World of Etamin - the Eye of Horus, was found and sent to me, by an old acquaintance." At this point, Etamin paused and smacked himself in the head a few time - a how could be so stupid gesture. "I knew the rules, I knew the safety precautions and protocols and had followed them a million times. But I was 15 and excited about the artifact. All safety went out the window..."

Osiris nodded and listened. Hearing he was so young for such a big job he understood. after all earlier this week he had jumped in a pile of leaves like a child. Children don't always think things through, it's not their fault it's just curiosity.
"Honestly, that makes sense you were young and curious. No one can fault you for that, most adults even can't fight temptation," he said revealing the facts as they were at this point in the story. So far the scales of fault were still balanced in his head. He saw nothing about the story that so far pointed to it being all Osiris's fault, after all, like he said he was tasked with a job most adults couldn't do without temptation.
"Though what happened after you received it?" he said curiously.

The color left Etamin's eyes and face. "The relic was cursed with Chaos and cursed me with Chaos - the one thing the safety protocols were designed to protect against. I turned on my own people, my own troops. They sent out a distress call... everyone came- and brought their troops .. and I - I slaughtered almost everyone - my entire planet - Pasithee and her Priests and Priestesses, Leaena and his Senshi Squad.., and so forth... Dari's parents. I had to be destroyed. Sekhmet, another member, tells me that you, he, and Shedir escaped and maybe some others...and tried to protect all the remaining worlds for a while, until the Silver Millennium shut down, then he lost touch. "Oh Osiris," He looked at his with the remorse of a friend who was truly sorry, but understood that he did not deserve forgiveness and he would take what he earned.

Osiris now understood everything, and he had passed the judgment of justice in his head. He saw the look on his friend's face and knew he wanted him to say he was sorry, but there was nothing to forgive. He did nothing wrong in his eyes.
"You have nothing to be forgiven about, the cursed relic made you behave that way my friend," he said with a matter-of-fact tone. "I hold nothing against you, and I know the past me wouldn't either. If he treasured you as much as I do as a friend he only cared about your well-being. Though I appreciate you for sharing, I was always curious about my past."
He knew his answer would probably be confusing but he hoped his friend would understand. Mistakes are human nature, the intent is what is important. Was one forced to do it or did they choose the chaos on their own? In this case, while he did know that his friend picked up the object, the object was cursed and his friend did not make those choices solely of his own free will.
