Brooklyn was honestly glad that she had left the side of her lolita clad benefactress, and was honestly waffling on if she was going to show up to their meeting spot in a few days or not. Thankfully, she had the added bonus of asking both Elliot and Atticus if they wanted to come too, and she was on her way to see them, sending them both a text with her trusty fantastic flip phone. It wasn’t fancy but it was honestly all she could afford with her leaf raking money, and…now that she had actual friends to talk with and text…
It was worth it.
There were only four contacts in her phone but…that was fine. There was Cara, Elliot, Atticus and her roommate…and that was more people than she had ever really thought she’d have in a phone of hers.
The text was simple, and since she knew that they both didn’t have anything going on today…well, so long as that hadn’t changed, she figured it was a good time to meet up!
So focused on the task at hand, Brooklyn didn’t realize that there was someone else out in her path until she literally ran into them, her phone slipping out of her hands and flying a few feet away, thankfully landing on the grass and not the concrete sidewalk.
“Damn! Sorry!” She looked up and stared into the face of the blue lady from before. “Holy s**t! Blue Lady!”

To say that Dagon was lost in thought would be to understate the situation greatly. Since her encounter with the girl that so reminded her of her Aralinn, she had been...withdrawn. Moreso than usual, sue suspected. Her housemates might have noticed; no one had asked yet, but they were astute people, and good people,, and Dagon suspected the questions would come sooner or later.
At least they were all familiar with the concept of reincarnation, so perhaps there wouldn't have to be too many complex explanations. Assuming it was] that and not just...some new and deeply ******** up manifestation of her thousand years of grief, causing her to see her daughter in a girl that just happened to look like her.
She hadn't even noticed another person approaching--good and bad, she suppsoed. Bad because she was crashed into, but perhaps a manifestation that she felt safer on Earth than she had on her homeworld. No longer was she reflexively alert to any movement near her, it seemed.
She reached out automatically to try and steady the person who had run into her, and then looked own, and--
There it was, That face. So familiar and so different all at once.
A thousand years of grief howled in her heart all in one terrible, painful moment, and she took a shuddery breath.
"You're the girl from before," she said, softly. "Are you alright? Did that Negaverse Senshi you were with harm you, in any way?"
Do you remember me? She wanted to ask. Do you remember us?
But there was no way.
Dagon's chest ached.

Negaverse…now, that was a word she had been told, but Senshi, that was a new one and Brooklyn filed it away in the back of her mind. “No, but she hasn’t paid me the outfit she had promised me either, so there’s that. She’s claimed that there’s going to be magic involved too when I do get my clothes but. I’m not sure that I’m really buying it. Like, how hard would it have been for her to get me a lolita dress like she has…though,”
Brooklyn was aware that she was rambling, but the fact of the matter was this was the blue woman, and clearly she knew something of her benefactress so…
Maybe this was one time where it was okay to let her tongue run away with her.
“It doesn’t seem like she has anything but that dress, so I guess I can see why she was trying to draft me into service. Normally I just talk to people while she takes their energy but. You freaked her out.”
Slipping away, Brooklyn grabbed her phone and brushed off some dirt that was now clinging to it.
“...Could I get a picture?”

Dagon frowned. It felt like there was some piece she was missing here. Perhaps there was some nuance of Earth culture that she just wasn't aware of that made a promise of a dress make sense, as a cover for recruitment into the Negaverse
Because clearly, that Corrupt was making efforts to recruit this girl, if they'd met more than once. And that could not be allowed. Whether this was Aralinn reincarnated or no--no one deserved to serve Chaos. Especially not one so young. It simply could not be allowed.
"What she wears....it isn't an ordinary dress," Dagon said. "You have seen, then, if she is using you as bait--she has powers beyond what you are normally capable of, yes? Her dress is part of that. It is...magical, in essence. Much like this." Dagon gestured to her own outfit. "If she promised you one...likely, she intends to make you like her."
She tilted her head tot he die at the request for a picture.
"....I suppose you may?"
Confusing. But, then, Dagon was certainly out of the ordinary; perhaps she ought to refuse, so as not to cause alarm if the picture were publicized, for the same reasons that Viatrix had wanted her to adopt a human glamor for when she was powered down. But then, this girl was already involved....ah, well. she had already granted permission. Too late to un-grant it.

The confirmation was all that Brooklyn needed and she snapped a picture of the woman, and then another when the first turned up rather blurry. “Sweet. Now my friends will actually believe what I’m saying to a point. Anyway, Obviously she has magic or something. She can teleport, or move at lightning speeds, you saw her do it with me.”
Slipping the phone into her pocket, Brooklyn looked over the woman’s outfit, nodding slowly. “Okay, so what’s your deal? Are you going to try to get me to join your magical club with the promise of lolita clothing? I mean, if you can actually live up to your promise you’d have a much better time of convincing me.”
The smile she wore was rather smug, amused and feeling like this was all some crazy elaborate joke.
It was strange that the blue lady wasn’t really laughing though.

Dagon nodded. If Brooklyn had friends that she could warn...that would be ideal, to help protect them against the Negaverse's schemes in the future.
She thought, for a long minute. Did she want to recruit this girl to her own side? Perhaps it would be better, for her to be magical and armed and protected. But it would also mean that she was in terrible danger, all the time.
"I don't want to recruit you, and I cannot promise you a beautiful dress. I want you to be informed." She exhaled. "My...deal, as you say, is that I am not from this planet. I am Sailor Dagon, and I come from a world far beyond your star. My homeworld, and many, many others, were destroyed by the Chaos that girl serves, and I do not wish to see it happen to your Earth."

“Well, at least your honest. Still though. You should get me a pretty dress just because I’m cute, don’t you think?”
Brooklyn gave an impish grin, knowing that…she didn’t really mean it. Kind of. But hey, if it worked.
“A girl can want to look pretty, don’t you think? Besides. It’s not like I have many pretty clothes that isn’t my uniforms. Even a street kid can hope to be a princess some day.”
The grin faded slightly and she glanced down at her phone, grimacing. “I’m supposed to go and meet my friends, and honestly. I’m afraid that they’ll think something bad happened to me, and for once it really didn’t. I’ll think about what you’ve said, I guess…but bribing me does work better than just saying things. At the children's home, they always said I had authority issues.”
Which…was completely true, but then again, nobody in the position of authority that she’d met had deserved respect.

"I think you deserve many beautiful things," Dagon said, and she meant it. Perhaps she would see about finding something nice, in case she ran into her again--clearly far too many people had failed this girl, and Dagon ought to do her best not to do so.
"What is your name? I'd like to be able to find you again," she said, gently.
She had decided. It didn't matter if this was Aralinn reincarnated (though her heart was certain that it was; so much of this girl reminded her of her girl, it made her chest hurt) this girl needed someone, and Dagon would be there for her as best as she could be.

Snorting, Brooklyn shook her head. “Not a chance. If we see each other again, fine but I don’t give my name out to strangers, sorry. Especially the weird ones, no offense.” She was blue, after all…and she obviously fell into the same category as her benefactress…
…Former benefactress?
Ah, whatever. She’d see how things went with Atticus and Elliot before she made any decisions. “If I see you, I see you and that’s all it is! Later!”
And with that, she ran off towards the park, eager to share all of this new information. Eager to see what the other two thought about these discoveries.
