There was a small park a little out of Belrea that many of the girls liked to sneak away to. It was peaceful, like a little haven, and if one was lucky they might find a secret rendezvous to pass the warm afternoon with. Astrasol enjoyed taking the time to explore the area, fond memories of running off and hiding with her brother as they grew up.
Now, with the two spending less and less time together, she mostly came here to think and get away from the gaggle of women that surrounded her.

The tall hybrid found herself wandering about the parks of Belrea, taking a small rest and reconsidering her next steps in her journey. She loved Belrea, loved living in the area, but she realized she needed to find a job or a purpose. Back on the isle, it was easy to fall in the routine of the sisterhood, but here it was a different story and the girl knew she needed to work out something soon or else she might run out of funds.
Wandering about the park, one of the few places that felt like the forest, she ignored those around her as she continued to drift deep in thought.

As she took in the soft breeze, she noticed a few others passed through. Thankfully, her resting b***h face was enough to dissuade people from approaching, especially the wandering males looking for a courtship. So instead she had the chance to Earthling watch.
It was always enjoyable when a hybrid would wander through, and so she peered at the lanky woman who was wandering - an Alkidike it looked like with her tall form and lightning skin.
At least she appeared to be more cultured than most, at least from Astrasol's perspective.

She did not notice the eyes upon her, most likely because she had built up a desensitization to the feeling. Now she simply accepted people would peer curiously at her, being such a rare hybrid so far away from her home.
It was calm, relaxing, and she was grateful for her choice to spend some time in this park.

She quickly got bored, and decided to look and see if anyone else was wandering about. It was about this time that she noticed a Duruf walker wandering into the park. Rolling her eyes, she decided it was best to head out. Especially when the Duruf herd began to bark - loudly - at the tall hybrid.

The sight of the pack of Duruf's was only noted for a second before their loud barking and straining left Verose at a pause. She never did well with small creatures, they all seemed so intimidated by her height and either ran away or tried to fight her off. This seemed to be the latter, and as she made eye contact with the young walker she knew this would most likely become a problem.

Curses, the walker was in the main entrance, which means she needed to wait until they passed before she could leave.
Maybe this would be entertaining, if a bit disruptive. The walker struggled with the circling and pulling Duruf, and suddenly the leashes slipped as the small herd was off, racing toward the tall hybrid.

It was a flash when all the Duruf began to bark, pull and the walker struggled. Verose knew this would be an absolute mess, but she couldn't get around, so instead she took a deep breath and glanced around.
All she could see was the other hybrid in the shadows, but it wasn't going to help as the walker lost control and the Duruf pack raced forward.

If she were anyone else, she might have attempted to help the walker. But she was here to relax, and a show was something relaxing, if a bit chaotic. Astrasol simply smirked behind her hand in the shadows as she watched the scene unfold, tickled at the chaos and curious to see what might happen.

The pack raced forward, unpreturbed by the height of the hybrid and acting like a bunch of guard beasts and not fluffy little pets. They were like little lions, roaring as they raced forward before they began to circle her feet. Some jumped up, trying to bark in her face, while others sniffed and snuffed behind flat faces.
One even nipped after a yelp, as if she were the one who attacked them. Verose looked across the way as the walker raced forward, apologizing again and again as they struggled to grab the leashes.

The thrill of watching the creatures, small as they be, race toward the tall hybrid was surprising. She found herself rooting for the little things, with all their frothy glory, and was disappointed that they were more bark than bite. Huffing out a sigh, she moved to stand from her place and brush off her outfit, pleased that the entrance was now clear for her to make her escape without a second glance at the stressed hybrid.

"It's alright." She commented as the walker continued to apologize, darting around her to try and grab the leashes. As more began to be pulled away, Verose attempted to pick up the last one that seemed calm, sniffing at her feet with the same huffs. The others also seemed to have calmed down, panting with tongues hanging out the sides of their mouth.
"At least they got some excitement for the day, the little warriors..." She attempted to jest to the stressed walker.

As she passed through the exit, she turned around for one last glance at the encounter behind her, a brow raised before she covered her smirk with her hand. Oh yes, this was quite an interesting encounter, and after seeing how vicious those little beasts were, maybe she might need to train one to be her guard dog.

Handing the Duruf to the walker, Verose felt her cheeks finally cooling off as she spun around, watching as the dark skinned hybrid left the area and wondering if she should be embarrassed. But she wasn't and instead she simply just wanted to get out of the way in case the Duruf pack decided to attack once more.
