Quote: 1 - 5 : Fire! A small fire has broken out at the local village. But what is on fire and who might be involved is up to you in your prompt response. Find a way to help keep it under control and get anyone out safely. [ Raeka 1 ] The airship docks were always a dangerous place, which meant they required only approved personnel in certain locations. Raeka, being an Academy member who specialized in the technology, would often monitor tasks and ensure none of her staff got hurt. Which meant she was much more serious on the job than on the deck. As she directed her teams around, she kept a keen eye out for any safety risks or tools, which made it all the more surprising when a loud bang sounded further down the dock. Alert, she shouted for all work to halt and rushed over to see what was happening, hoping it wasn't anything more than an engine backfiring.

A leisure trip to Zena was something Astrasol had yet to experience, though all of her friends gushed at the opportunity. The lush furs that they returned with seemed unnecessary, though the hybrid was curious about the snow and men she might find out there. Or women.
As she prepared to get on her airship for the trip, she found herself knocked over by an explosion, disoriented as she looked up at the engine that appeared to be on fire. Eyes wide, she scrambled back as workers rushed forward, taking the arm of one that lifted her and dragged her further away.

Raeka wasn't one to be too serious, but when mechanical items backfired, she was the first one to shout at others. It was a dangerous situation, and one that required people to focus, especially for items that had civilians.
"You there, what happened?"
One of the academy members turned, glanced at her jacket, and seemed relieved, "An engine fire, we think. Was unmonitored and exploded. Thankfully no one was aboard."
Raeka nodded, glancing about before catching sight of those that were too close to miss the explosion.
"Has anyone sought out healers?"

As the worker released her, she found herself stunned and watching the chaos. It was hard to relax with people running around and screaming, and so Astrasol pushed herself further away against a wall, her heart hammering.

It seemed the crew on hand was able to manage the issue, and a few mages in the area helped with any wayward fires. Raeka knew she wasn't on duty, and that meant she risked getting in the way. The staff were well seasoned, and many were healthy enough to address the emergency.
And so, she turned to assess if any civilians needed help. The healers were rushing in and addressing the biggest issues, but she caught sight of a pale-haired hybrid who seemed hidden in the shadows of a building.
"You hurt?" She asked as she approached, eying the soot on Astrasol's cheeks.

The ringing in her ears was dying down as she looked ahead, the flames and the bustle hypnotic to a woman who didn't see such chaos. Even with her warmonger mother, she was surprised. This wasn't war, this was a disaster and something that hurt many including herself.
A voice broke through the echo, but lightly, and Astrasol continued to stare almost unblinking ahead.

The lack of response was concerning, and the blank stare even moreso. Raeka stepped closer, cutting off the point of view and gently turning the girl away from the chaos.
"Breathe. Can you hear me? What is your name?"

The movement caused her to jerk away, a gasp escaping her mouth as she looked at the dark hybrid before her. Geian and Lightning, a typical sort that was as common as any other. The woman seemed to be part of the Academy, and immediately Astrasol found herself relaxing.
The academy was here, they had it handled.
"It's Astrasol." She said sharply, taking in a breath through her nose before coughing.

"Right, Astrasol. Are you hurt?" Raeka repeated gently, her casual demeanor replaced as one in charge and seeking to ensure there's no more issues, "Why don't we get you to see a healer? Think you can move?"

Had she been in a different state, she might have snapped back at the fact that the woman before her asked a question before jumping without a response. But Astrasol was grateful for the take-charge attitude, and merely nodded weakly as she let herself be led further away from the docks.

She led the girl slowly away from the growing crowd to a local healer that was set up a few blocks away. At the entrance, one of the apprentices saw them and rushed over, nodding and leading them inside after Raeka explained the situation. It seemed they were offering shelter for anyone who was injured from the blast, as others of varying injury were already there.
"Might be in shock, might have head trauma. No visible injuries." She said quickly to the approaching healer before stepping away, "Her name is Astrasol."

She put up little fuss as the healer poked, prodded, and cast a few spells around her head and body. The oncoming bruises seemed to be soothed away, and the ringing in her ears faded to a gentle hum.
"You'll need to rest for a few days, but it seems you avoided major injury. Do you have someone to take you home?"

"I can arrange something." She quickly offered, turning toward Astrasol with a smile, "If not me, I can find someone from the Academy to see to you."
She probably needed to stay, but it was also her job to protect the people of Belrea, and most likely other members had arrived to assess the damage.

She found herself growing weary, her body heavy as the adrenalin faded away to a gentle ache. She knew she'd sleep for days, even if the healer didn't order it.
"I'd appreciate the company, be it you or someone else." She said wearily, just wanting to get home and get to sleep. Who would have thought such a thing would have happened to her of all people.
