Fertility Demi Blessing Revamp Thread

Hello everyone!

Over the years the system for requesting a Fertility Demi, and what they bless, has been pretty fluid (no real set standard form or required specifics).
We would like to take the time now to correct that. However, this means we need to get every Demi on board and updated.

That's where you beautiful, magical, owners come in.

We ask that you fill out the form below, and follow the guide, to clean up and specify what your Demi blesses so that, going forward, others know what your Demi is all about (including prospective Fae-parents!).

We are NOT taking things away from your Demi that already exist. However, we would like you to be more specific so that everyone knows EXACTLY what your Demi blesses.
(This is being done so that Demi’s stay unique and special.)



Example of a common blessing that is too vague (and the preferred change):

Common Blessing: "Blesses Cactus Earrings"
This is too general and instead we would like it to say
Common Blessing: "Blesses the Hens-and-Chicks earrings specific to Cactaur" (the Fertility Demi in question).

Got it? Got it.

Also, feel free to be specific but try not to make the descriptors extremely long.



Simplifying Complex Examples:

Rare Blessing: "Blesses a ball of light that envelopes all in a glowing mountain of radiance that heals them 10+ their average HP for 24hrs"
We would prefer it be simplified to:
Rare Blessing: “Blesses a ball of healing light.”

Makes sense? I hope so.
If it is extremely important to add more detail, or to define a blessing due to complexity of the blessing, we aren’t going to tell you that you can’t type it that way. But we’re hoping to make this easy to understand and reference for all.



Clothing and accessories:

Since this category can vary broadly we have a simple guide to being specific about the clothing and accessories your Demi blesses.
If your Demi has a specific trait blessing punk clothing you can simply say "Blesses punk style clothing and accessories" however if your Demi is not specifically blessing attire please keep it simple to specific items like a Demi's Strings of Pearls or their Watermelon Earrings.



THESE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE REVIEWED.
Staff will review all submissions to make sure everything is fairly evaluated and approved. Please make sure to only use things already specific to your Demi and do not add anything you do not already have approval for.



All Demi’s may bless the following and it is up to you to determine the appropriate rarity of your Demi’s traits:
(You also do not have to have this many blessings. If you don't want an additional rare slot or the ultra-rare slot please feel free to omit them)

Common: May bless three common traits with a definite chance of being passed to their godchildren.
Uncommon: May bless two uncommon traits that have a 50% chance of being passed down.
Rare: May bless two rare traits that has a 25% chance of being passed down.
Ultra-Rare: May bless one ultra rare trait that has a 5-10% chance of being passed down.

[Fatal Irony]

Commonly Blesses (Limit three):
One: Good-aligned kids get blue eyes, evil get red, any other alignment gets both.
Two: Good-aligned kats get 1 set of tiny wings on random body parts (head, hand, foot, etc), evil get body spikes. Other alignments can get both, but to a lesser degree (one wing instead of a set, only one or two spikes)
Three: 2 sets of wings, feathered for good kats, bat wings for evil. Other alignments get a random combination of the two (for example, they can get 1 feather and 3 bat, 2 of each, or 1 bat and 3 feather. Must have a combo.) These can be any size, including tiny or huge, but only go on the back.

Uncommonly Blesses (Limit Two):
One: Conflicted alignment. Children will be cursed with both good and evil impulses and may struggle to control them. Conflicted kids always get the half-and-half coloring (of any color based on parents).
Two: Kids can get his drama/comedy mask marking and expression. This is not dictated by alignment.

Rarely Blesses (Limit one):
One: Good kats get a white bird minion similar to Panic. Evil kats get a black bat. Any other alignment can get either, but not both - though they can have coloring that indicates a mixed alignment (such as a black bird or white bat) or traits of the other (such as a bird with bat wings or vice versa). There should only be one pet though.

Commonly Blesses (Limit three):
One: A black/cracked eye like hers.
Two: Brightly colored hair similar to hers (in patterning, not necessarily in style, though hair can be inspired by hers). Any bright color can be possible, though the green and blue of hers is most common.
Three: Any of her outfit pieces or accessories (body piercings, tiddy tape, bracelets, fishnets, crop top, etc) or similar items inspired by hers.

Uncommonly Blesses (Limit Two):
One: Body spikes that can be any length and be on any part of the body.
Two: Dual tails - these don't have to match though non-demon offspring should not have spade tails.

Rarely Blesses (Limit one):
One: This Demi grants the ability to have Demon children to Non-Demons, which will give them Demon edits (horns, demon tail, bat wings). Only the Demon offspring should get demon edits (non-demons shouldn't have them as they are entirely Demon-based)

Two: Art Supplies: paint brushes and pencils similar to her own. These can be held, in the hair, or attached to the Kat somehow. For example, Karuka’s tail has pencils basically strung to it
Three: Hair Accessories: her sun, rainbow, and/or flower hair clips

Uncommonly Blesses (Limit Two):
One: Clothing: rainbow arm warmers similar to Karuka’s. Could be one of each, one or the other, or a matching set
Two: Hair: Long, flowing rainbow hair. It could be in pigtails like hers, or loose

One: Inspired Alignment: this blessed Fae will be a true artist. They are inspired by the world around them and have an affinity for creating art
