Strays (1) : Destiny City News reports several sightings of ‘feral dogs' appearing throughout the city. Those interviewed claim that the dogs would surround them and chase them down the streets, seemingly popping in and out of sight until the person finally found themselves in a well lit area. You have the misfortune of running into these same dogs.
They cling to the shadows as you go about your way at night. Seemingly at the corner of your vision, one flickers by, and you turn and see nothing. Again and again it happens. They are trying to drive you into the darkest corners of the city, herding you away from the light. In the nearby distance are the lights of the city: streetlights, signs, traffic. You have to do something to get there, to escape these creatures. When you make it to any significant light source, you hear a low growl, a wailing hiss; the dogs have vanished.

She was, once again, alone in this world it seemed. First she'd been brought into this world and thought, after so much time, she had found her place and had tried to be useful. She'd been shot down and scolded infront of others...for trying to do the right thign and help - and show that she could be useful and wasn't one to back down and leave a team mate behind. She had thought she'd done good...she hadn't. Than Zinkenite had turned up, when all else seemed lost to her, and just as fast he'd vanished. Wolframite had also turned up and had offered her ideas and help, in order to keep her from changing sides, but he'd left too.
She honestly didn't care enough to change sides any more. She was who and what she was and she did her duty, without doing anything more than was needed, and dutifly collected energy to turn in. She continued on through life as if nothing were out of the ordinary, as if she were a normal civilian, and went to work and attended college. She babysat for her elder siblings and helped her younger siblings as well. She was content to remain at home under her parents roof, despite her age, because it was comfortable there and she didn't want to live alone.
Tonight was one of those nights where she'd gone out to take a walk, for exercise she told her mother, but she'd powered up and went to gather energy instead. She was indeed walking, so she wan't lying to her mother, but she was leaving out the extra bits of what she did while on her walk. Tonight had been going well...right until she heard the growling and swore she could see the shadows of dogs following her. She'd taken off running through the city, heels clicking, her hair out behind her like a flag waving. She needed to get space between herself and them so she could think, she had to think, but the ywere close on her heels and she couldn't get away to think. She couldn't feel youma...so they weren't youma. But if not that than what?
She knew she could cal lfor help...but who would come for her? Who knew her and who cared about her? She had no connections, had never made them, and no one likely even knew she exsisted. She was nearly certain of it. She didn't go to gatherings and only did what was needed. No one would come so she didn't call....she just ran.
