Rest in Peace (4) : While making your way through Destiny City, you wind up taking a path you’ve never taken before. Maybe you’re following directions, maybe you got lost, maybe you were just looking for a shortcut—things were going well, until you wind up needing to pass through a graveyard. It seems normal enough—until you pass by a grave and get a powerful chill down your spine. When you stop and look at it, you see the gravestone has your name; beneath it, your birthday and today’s date. If you leave and return, the gravestone remains, but the name and dates look like they’ve been clawed off.
"I saw a tweet that said some college students were gathering here to tell ghost stories," said Jadarite, staring at the tall iron gate of Repose Memorial Park. It was padlocked shut, but it looked like they'd only been trying so hard to keep the Halloween parties out. The chain was loose. She was able to slip through easily enough, and glance back at Mizuki behind her. "I'm sure they'll have alcohol."
They always had alcohol.
"Should be easy picking for draining."
Jada was careful when she chose her targets, and something like this was perfect. Nobody would notice if someone came home tired after a graveyard party. Nobody would believe them if they started going on about dark figures coming after them.
"We could even go for starseeds if you wanted."
That wouldn't draw up too many questions, either. There were sometimes drugs stronger than alcohol involved. Overdoses happened. A tragedy, to be sure, but not one that couldn't be glossed over.
