Do you like it when a classic anime that is already good as is gets a reboot?

For me most reboots are downgraded from the originals unless they make the animation better or voice actors. xD

If the reboot is better - which is rare.
BUT.
BUT

The FruitsBasket one nailed it. Honestly, their first one was.... a meh ending but they turned it around, made it a little more in line and a little more detailed. I appreciate this one reboot xD

largely inaudible

That's like asking if there should be anime based on the manga. Most anime that I've seen doesn't follow the manga, and I've often been burned by the alternate endings, such as in Fruits Basket, Ouran High School Host Club, Soul Eater, Spiral: The Bonds of Reasoning, Rurouni Kenshin, and so on and so forth. It would be one thing if the alternate endings were good, or fill in the manga's plot holes, but they don't and they aren't good. That being said, just because I had some awful experiences or my expectations weren't met, it doesn't mean I denounce animes.

That being said, reboots seem to be on the up-and-up lately, and, so far, I haven't been disappointed.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Hunter x Hunter.

I'm so thrilled that Fruits Basket got a reboot, and I hope they animate Fruits Basket Another.

I'm hoping beyond hoping that Rurouni Kenshin will get a reboot, or at the very least continue where they left off instead of leaving us with that horrid third season with nothing but fillers and random stories, some of which went against the established continuity. The live-action movies are a real treat, and I adored them, but there's nothing like that animation.

This has become the reboot era because the manga has been completed since the initial anime release, and there is now a wider audience interested in this medium and a larger budget to work with. So, really, if classic anime needs a second try to get it right, now is the time.

heart heart heart whee crying It's beautiful! The background's gorgeous, the character art style resembles the polished later volumes of the manga, and, yes, the voice-acting! They chose right!
