As many of you already know, I love the horror genre. If it's not your thing, that's totally okay. To each their own.

Anyway, what are some of your favorite scary movies, and why? Is there a horror film that you're wanting to see?

Although a lot of folks today have probably never seen it, I like the original Frankenstein from 1931, it tells a good story & the acting for time period is quite good. Plus, it's got Boris Karloff, one of the best monster actors ever.

For me, easily the Scream series, as it pretty much satires the whole slasher genre while being good slasher flicks on their own! Now as for which movie is my favorite, Scream 2! I don't know why, I just feel that whatever the first Scream did, the second movie did better!

You know I can never enjoy those types of movies where some nut runs around and stabs people, I always find myself asking the question why they don't just shoot the guy when they have the chance & be done with it or get mad when they have an opportunity to stop him, but they just run instead of just killing them while there down.
