It was getting easier, this patrolling, and honestly, as the weather grew cooler, that made it an almost pleasurable experience. Retzian felt an aura that was stronger than she was, and hesitated for a moment, weighing her options. She could…most likely should call for backup, it wasn’t safe to just go after someone stronger than she was without having someone there to help her, and honestly her bouncy jellyfish wouldn’t do much to keep her safe, yet she hadn’t supplemented anything to go along with her starter weapon.
Summoning her pathetic cat toy to her hand, Retzian drew in a breath and made her way towards the aura, scowling at the frilly clad blonde that stood in front of her, and after a moment she crossed her arms over her chest, humming in an unamused way.
“And just what are you supposed to be?” It was a fair question, and she thought nothing of it. She was ignorant, yes but. Retzian was working very hard to make it so that she wasn’t as ignorant any longer.

Mira had not been on patrol for a while now. Since the bakery had been taking up so much of her time. Halloween was one of their busier times of the year. After all Halloween and treats just go together after all. She could never get sick of the cute pumpkins, even if it meant sometimes she wound up looking orange.
Tonight though she knew she had to patrol it wasn't an option anymore. She felt like she was really slacking on her duties. So here she was - Patroling in her wonderful sailor outfit frills and all.
That was when she felt it - that aura she hadn't felt in a while was here. Chaos was close and she had to get ready. It took her a second to prepare herself, and that was when she saw them. Someone with what looked like a suit and a cute jellyfish toy? hmm, now that was new. She quickly tried to compose herself as the other spoke.
"Oh me? Well, I'm a Senshi of course, and I have a sweet spot for well sweets!" she said happily still remembering to keep herself on guard after all they were Choas.
"Now the real question... who are you and what are you doing here?" she said ready to fight if it came down too. After all her duty was to protect.

Retzian watched for a moment and her scowl grew into a look of pure distaste. This…was the enemy that they were meant to fight. People who really. Just. Said things like that. A sweet spot for sweets…it.
Wow.
“Lieutenant Retzian, out fulfilling my quota as is expected of me. If you’re such a fan of sweets and being…sweet, I hope that means you’ll be sweet and will allow yourself to be used to fill that quota? Either that or I hope you move along so I can find someone else to take energy from.”
It wasn’t a unreasonable request, but Retzian crossed her arms over her chest regardless, the cat toy held tightly in one hand as she waited for this ‘Senshi’ to give her answer. “Do you have a name, by the way? It’s rather rude to demand one from me and not offer yours in exchange.”

Mira watched her opponent's face and could tell they didn't really like her much. Which was totally okay with her, since she knew she wasn't everyone's cup of tea. She was a lot more, well perky than some were but she couldn't help it sweets did that to her.
"Well it's nice to meet you Lieutenant Retzian, but I'm afraid I can't let you do that," she said as she began to spin her hands above her head, "And I'm afraid you won't be filling that quota today. Since your work ends here."
She knew now there was no stopping them, and she wasn't about to let them hurt someone else. After all, it was her duty to protect and so she knew a battle was what must happen. Since they both had their duties, and she knew neither of them was going to back down by the looks of it.
So as she finished her hand's second spin above her head, she stopped aimed toward her opponent and winked cutely as she could. "Let me show you how sweet I can be," she said with a smile before continuing, "Oh and I'm Super Senshi Mira my apologies for being so rude."
A sweet smile appeared on her face as she watched the excessive amounts of sugar in the shape of a kiss that came from her wink heading toward her opponent. Since even if she was fighting she wanted to try and do it in the nicest way possible. Since being mean was not her forte.
Now she hadn't used one of her attacks in a while, but she was surprised by how well it seemed to be working. Now she had to wait and see if it would hit the intended target or not was the next step. At this point, it could be hit or miss.

Retzian should have realized that she was dealing with someone who…wasn’t all there, she should have just walked away when she felt the aura, and when the girl started acting and talking so strangely. She was uncomfortable to begin with, but now the girl was…the senshi was twirling her hands above her head and saying utter nonsense and…
And honestly, Retzian wanted nothing more than to turn on her heel and run, and when something began to move from the senshi, something that looked like a kissing emoji, the lieutenant felt a sudden lurch of absolute dread.
“No. No I’m not doing this.” She turned, prepared to run when the…she supposed it was magic…senshi had magic, she was sure that she had been told that. It hit her and her tooth began to hurt as bad as it had when she had that massive cavity a few years back. Swiftly, Retzian clamped a hand over the spot on her mouth and threw a withering look to Super Senshi Mira, and finally broke into a run, not wanting to waste another moment around this girl, unable to believe that people like this really existed in the world…
Oh, her tooth hurt...
Hopefully it wouldn’t keep hurting…the idea of another root canal was way less than ideal but…
Hopefully this would just be a temporary thing and the further away from the senshi she got, the better she would be.
In more ways than one.

Mira was excited to see her attack hit, but she was a little surprised by the lieutenants' reaction. It was definitely unexpected, they almost looked like they were uncomfortable...? Which was confusing to her, since she had never met someone like this before. Normally in this situation, someone would try to fight back.
Surprised or not though she decided that if they didn't want to continue she was okay with that. Since with a toothache like that she figured they probably wouldn't be harming anyone right now anyways.
So she just turned on her feet and rushed off in the opposite direction. She was hoping that by doing that maybe the lieutenant might feel a little more comfortable quicker.
Mira didn't like causing people discomfort anyways, but she hoped tonight she at least made some sort of difference on her patrol. and who knew maybe they'd meet again under different circumstances one day. and with that, she headed home for some much need rest.
