I actually was a D. Gray-Man fan. I preferred the manga over the anime, but both have gone downhill in my opinion. I can't bear to watch D. Gray-Man Hollow. I remember when Allen cared for the akuma, but that was turned on its head since the level 4 akuma was introduced. Furthermore, the team who drew the first DGM anime series disrespected the level 4 akuma's appearance- they could not draw the level 4 akuma at all. The artist(s) for DGM Hallow did a better job, but really with how Hoshino changed her art style I am no longer sure what a level 4 akuma is supposed to look like anymore.
I wish the fans overall financially supported Hoshino more. A lot of them just cling to the anime (especially since most, if not all of the episodes are free) and were upset that they found out that someone died in DMG Hallow even though they were killed off several manga chapters-years in our time?- in advance.
I meant to send Hoshino a fan letter years ago, but I never sent it off- especially since I was not confident in my Japanese. I wish I sent it though- perhaps it would have made a difference in the series's direction (but then editors are over her).
I enjoyed the openings to the anime. My favorite one was Doubt and Trust by Access. In fact, I listen to Access regularly, and it is all thanks to that that song. Here are a couple of songs I recommend that were made by Access:
One fact about the duo is that Daisuke Asakura actually produced for T.M. Revolution, who made a bunch of anime songs, including Resonance for the anime, Soul Eater:

Just a question...Did the manga actually finished or was left in hiatus?

I don't think it ever finished. The last volume I read was 23, but I know there were more volumes released since. I don't follow the series as closely as I used to. It didn't seem like there was an ending in sight. I do remember that aside from the volumes, parts of the series was being published in some serial magazine aside from individual volumes. There is a volume 27.

ohh okay. Because i remember reading that it went into hiatus for a bit due to her health..Good thing its continuing. But honestly I would not buy more than 20 volumes of a manga collection. Though I give an exception of Rurouni Kenshi. I got the whole 28 volumes. xD
