"Trying to forget... The falling of my truth. Trying to forget...Our ways of our truth," the words spoken by The Lotus Eclipse as he is seen walking along what appeared to be a parking garage up on a higher floor. A couple of chairs were placed out in the middle of the lot as he would grab one to take a seat and throw his feet up on the second one. Thrown around his legs would be the World Title he knew all so well.
"Truths. How rare is it to find a truth? When it's hidden through opinions, beliefs, lies, and ignorance? It's a rare delicacy to find a truth in a mess that is this world we live," he spoke out as he raised a hand up that was holding a stick. Waving it as if a conductor to an orchestra, he could hear a melody play out in his mind.
"It's alive, like a parasite inside of me
And it feeds of the trauma of what used to be
But there's no shred of evidence 'cause I don't bleed
From this monster made of memories.."
he sang out to himself. Tossing the stick over his shoulder, he would move the title from his legs and turn himself to face the camera, hunched over with fingers interlaced and arms on his lap.
"Seventeen long years with this company that's had its up and downs. Seventeen long years of memories, experience, wins, losses, ups, downs, friendships, enemies, rivals, and people that simply wanted to kill me. Several near career enders. Several near-deaths. From Jed trying to crush my throat to me and my brother throwing ourselves off the scaffolds and into the equipment below us. I've been to wars with my family and my friends, and it's left me to wonder at times just how it is that I'm still here. Seventeen years of madness, of insanity that I bring to the table and force out of people and onto myself." He started off his story from how it seemed as he adjusted and leaned back into the chair, balancing on two legs, a foot keeping him from tipping all the way.
"I haven't always been the 'Eclipse'. The Lotus Eclipse came about some years after I began my journey here. I was known as 'The Wild One', but the majority from then and to now know me as GBL." he spoke out with the chair coming forward and his eyes looking forward. A glitch on screen and Moxy would appear over the face of the Lotus Eclipse before glitching away. New steps sounded out and the one dawned in white and red would step behind the Eclipse and move over to the empty chair. Rather than sit, Lunar would place his hands on the back and lean forward, giving off some laughs as if amused over this rambling.
"What's in a name? What's a name to us? To the one that's done and all, seen it all, and beaten all before him?" Lunar asked, a tilt of his head to stare at Lotus. "What's in your name? The Wild One, the high flying extremist that eventually turned to a cult following, the 'New' Ministry of Darkness. My oh my the success you had under the guidance of the Prince of Darkness! Up until you decided to part ways with the dead ... and learned the hard way of what happens when you turn your back against the cult."
"My neck nearly broken from a Tombstone, he aimed to claim my soul... He aimed to end me like so many others," Lotus started up with eyes keeping forward. He seem to play it off as if he didn't want to pay mind to Lunar, but he was listening. "One of my first major threats, The first time I felt fear. Up against the Deadman in a match that favored him more than myself."
"How do you kill an immortal soul?" Lunar asked, "How is it you survived a match that could mean death so easily?"
"One doesn't kill an immortal soul ... One only weakens the soul just enough. He looked to claim my soul, but instead I did something no one ever expected: I hung the Undertaker ..."
"You hung the Undertaker! and soon after was it the birth of The Lotus Eclipse? or was it the birth of something ... more?"
Lunar would glitch in place and vanish right after with laughter ringing out with Lotus standing up and beginning to walk along in a pace, back and forth.
"I learned a lot during my time with the Ministry, but I think there was a lot more I learned than I had intended. I either learned something more, or I was given something in my struggles. Did I actually win that match, I wonder ... or did he pass along the torch, as they say? Even more ... Did the Undertaker pass along ... a 'piece' of him?" Going back to a chair, he would grab it to spin it around and sit backwards in it, arms laying across the back rest with focused eyes on the camera.
"Behind the name, The Lotus Eclipse, was a name to show my gratitude to my brother, his trainings, and his support throughout my uprising. Dark Lotus was our name, it was who we were. A name that saw us with the wicked clowns and support of the juggalos from all around. They say wicked clowns never die, so I took that to heart. Heh... It wasn't until Mystic's passing that I felt ... something else. I was in the light for so long after I left the Ministry of Darkness that I never bothered looking behind me. I never bothered to realize the reason why I endured for this long, why I've succeeded in all I've done." Laughing to himself, he would disappear with Lunar resurfacing, only walking on the ceiling....
"This! This part of me here always existed, always lingered in the back of my mind! It was always there as that little burst of madness. The thrill of pain, the thrill of the fight, and the thrill to watch one's hopes burn into ashes. Lotus may be the knock-out artist, but Lunar exists for destruction in a different form. I leave behind scars that never heal, I leave behind fears that you don't realize are there. Isn't that right, Salem?" Lunar spoke before laughing and fading back with Lotus reappearing back in the chair, in the same position as before.
"The Truth ... The Truth seems to be that the Lotus Eclipse wasn't necessarily a full truth. I exist as a part of something more. It took the death of my brother to begin to see this other side, this 'gift' if you will. If you want to call it that," he commented glancing beside him where Lunar flickered in and out of existence for a moment. "With the return of the WWFG, it was only natural for an original, and one of the faces of this company to return ... but I decided it was time to begin telling the full truth. Names should hold truth, after all."
"Coming from a guy with a name that's still a lie!" Lunar appeared back in his chair with focus right on Lotus. "GBL ... GBL.... GBL... What's the G? Gonna tell us, finally?"
Lunar faded back out as Lotus stood himself back up, ignoring his self.
"The Lotus Eclipse represented by the Blue Moon, a rare phenomenon. The Lunar Eclipse represented by the Blood Red Moon. We're two halves of the same coin, yet we're opposites of one another. So allow me to formally warn anyone and everyone of this new me. I don't know, myself, of a complete release of restraint." Lotus spoke before Lunar would replace Lotus. "But I know that there's a reason why people fear the Blood Moon...."
A glitch on the screen would see a half and half of Lotus and Lunar's face. After, Moxy's face would appear over with the 'X' of Moxcy's eye over Lotus' eye and the 'O' over Lunar. The high-pitched chuckle of the face before all three vanished in a glitch with the parking lot tinted in a dull red. Silence over the parking garage before a chair suddenly launched itself at the camera with lights going out.
