Hello. I wanted to post this thread because I really like mainline Shin Megami Tensei (SMT), and I have played a couple of the spinoffs (Persona Q and Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker). In fact, Shin Megami Tensei V was the first game I rode the hype train for, and the first game I preordered (and I preordered the premium edition at that). I have not yet played SMT V, but I owe my anticipation for the game's release to my enjoyment of SMT IV. I have not played SMT IV, but I have watched bits of the game's playthroughs on YouTube. I have enjoyed what I viewed of SMT IV so much that not only did I support SMT V, but also bought some of SMT IV's spinoff manga. I have enjoyed what I have read of the manga (apologies Merkabah, but at least I am supporting the franchise). Furthermore, SMT IV is what inspired me to learn more about mainline SMT.
Here are some questions to help break the ice. Feel free to post anything else:
-What is your favorite Megami Tensei (MT) Game?
-If you are familiar with the SMT demons, which is/are your favorite demon(s)?
-If you have one, which is/are your favorite persona(s)?
-Which MT game would you like to play next?
-What/which MT title(s) would you recommend to someone who has never played any MT game (to introduce them)?
-Who is/are your favorite MT character(s)?

My answers:
-What is your favorite Megami Tensei (MT) Game?
Probaby SMT IV so far. The art- both music and illustrations- moved me overall.
-If you are familiar with the SMT demons, which is/are your favorite demon(s)?
Merkabah and Metatron
-If you have one, which is/are your favorite persona(s)?
I don't have one right now.
-Which MT game would you like to play next?
SMT V since I do have but, but I have yet to play it. However, after SMT V I might give Strange Journey a chance.
-What/which MT title(s) would you recommend to someone who has never played any SMT game (to introduce them)?
SMT Nocturne since there has been such a following on the game. SMT V as well since that is the newest mainline game thus far. I might not want to recommend SMT IV since I have the impression from fans that SMT IV is very different stylistically from the other games in mainline.
-Who is/are your favorite MT character(s)?
Nahobino, Merkabah (I really like Merkabah's SMT IV art).

-If you have one, which is/are your favorite persona(s)? Izanagi
-Which MT game would you like to play next? I might replay Persona 3, but the new Soul Hacker looks decent.
-What/which MT title(s) would you recommend to someone who has never played any MT game (to introduce them)? Persona 5 is a pretty solid starting point for anyone.
-Who is/are your favorite MT character(s)? Minato Arisato.

GREEDY SHlTHEAD you haven't played SMT V yet? I haven't. I understand that it has been almost a year since the release, but I have been slow to get a Nintendo Switch, and I want to get an OLED when I do.
