»»» BACKGROUND: Odawaru, better known by most as Oda, is what one might refer to a a legacy. Hailing from the bustling city of Tokyo, he's enjoyed a pleasant life of fun and excitement, doing his best to live to the fullest. Or at least, that's always been his intention. However, there's always been one obstacle in his life that often stood in the way of his good times: his father. Better known by his hero alias, Kong, Oda's father is a well decorated member of one of Japan's premiere hero agencies, continuing what has become a family tradition of heroism. As his father's only son, it's only natural that Oda would be expected to follow in his father's footsteps and uphold their family name. Thus, his father was incredibly strict with him, insistent that he dedicate himself to studying and training. Thankfully though, his father's responsibilities with his agency kept him plenty busy and with his mother consumed with her ..... own devises, he had just enough freedom to avoid having a miserable childhood, much to his father's annoyance. Still, even if Oda was far from the ideal son, his father continued pushing Oda towards the path he envisioned for him, insisting that he pursue a career as a pro hero. And so, for better or worse, that's what Oda did. Having secured a spot in UA's hero course, he's now taken the first step in his heroic journey, a journey he has no idea why he's really on but he's confident that if he'll figure it out eventually ..... hopefully.
