She was strong again. She had buttwings again…
Honestly, Lysithea wasn’t sure which part she was more excited for, perhaps all of it. Now that she was once again a reflection on the outside of what she should have been…
When she felt the aura of a corrupt senshi, she almost turned around. Almost thought about going in another direction but…it obviously wasn’t Albite. He was an Eternal now. If it was one of Faustite’s other lackeys, fine. Then her former brother would simply be told that she was stronger again.
It didn’t matter.
Drawing in a swift breath that didn’t calm her as much as she would have liked, Lysithea set off towards the aura and scoffed when she saw who it was.
It was indeed one of Faustite’s lackeys, and honestly…even if she had just let him leave the last time…that.
No. She shouldn’t do it this time.
“Fancy. Running into you again. Pity you haven’t gotten stronger. I finally have, so that’s nice, at least.”
Lysithea watched him for a moment and then glanced away. “How’s my brother?”

Well. At the very least, as soon as he saw Lysithea again, Alkmene had some very important information that he could report back to Faustite.
Apparently, going there and back again didn't totally remove your ability to get buttwings. And now she had hers back. That was...less than great, Alkmene suspected, but it didn't have to be the end of the world.
He put his hands on his hips, squared his shoulders, and narrowed his eyes. "Maybe I don't have to be stronger to handle you," he said, imperiously, like that was at all a real threat. The big problem was, he really did need ot be stronger to be on her level.
But that was fine. Bringing back intel like this had to be worth something.

Lysithea waited for a few moments, hoping that he would answer her real question not just…her stupid taunt but…her wait was useless.
“I hope that doesn’t mean he’s doing poorly, your lack of an answer. It’s kind of rude to just leave me waiting for it, Alkmene. I didn’t think you were one to be rude.”
…Not that she had known him…well. At all. Still. Faustite had class, he had expectations from the people he took care of…at least. Lysithea had hoped he did.
“Now, how is my brother? And if you don’t want to give me an answer…I guess I could just show you how strong I’ve become so you can really decide if you want to eat your words or not.”
Her eyes had turned cold, and she watched him, utterly unamused.

"Maybe I don't think how Faustite is doing is any of your business," Alkmene shot back, crossing his arms. "If you cared so much, why'd you leave, hm? You could look after his well-being a lot better if you were still with us."
Yeah, okay, Alkmene was begin a b***h. He knew he was being a b***h. He did not, however, care. She'd gotten her one get-out-of-an-asskicking-free card from him for saving Faustite from her shitty Knight buddy, and now she was just another enemy, as far as Alkmene was concerned.
The big problem was, there was really and genuinely only so much he could do against her right now. His magic wouldn't take hers--or, rather, wouldn't take anything worth taking. So the most he could do was snap and snarl and bite.
"So whatever, come after me. I don't give a s**t. You gave up any right to ask how he's doing when you <********. left."

Perhaps he was teasing. Lysithea was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but as the moments passed again, and he decided to just not answer her and continue to taunt her. “All right then. Favorite or not, I don’t care. He doesn’t stop himself from going after my friends, so why should I do the same. Keep in mind though, Alkmene, I didn’t want to fight. I didn’t want to do this, I don’t enjoy teaching people how to have manners but. At this point.”
She moved near to him and drew her hand back, letting it fly towards that pretty face.
“I don’t care. We can just consider this payment for what Faustite and Albite were trying to do to Ilse, shall we?”
And she took several steps back, her eyes still cold, not giving a damn that she was hurting him, but rather pleased that she could. “Lysithea Untamed Purity!”
Oh.
Oh it was so nice to have access to her magic once again. She had really missed it.
Magic that could do something other than heal.Noir Songbird Lysithea Untamed Purity When Lysithea calls out her attack a flash of white light rushes at her opponent, and if the attack hits them, it feels as though something heavy is hitting them, much like if a Unicorn were to slam into them. The force of this may be enough to knock over weaker opponents. After the initial impact the opponent will feel four distinct feelings of pain, as though the unicorn was trying to trample them. The feeling lasts for forty five seconds, and this attack can be used once per battle.

Okay, so, he was very much succeeding in pissing Lysithea off. That was something like a victory that he could mark down for himself. Perhaps not a great one, but still a victory, and it was all he really ******** you and your stupid traitor girlfriend, I hope they do get her," he snarled. "If you don't want to do this, you wouldn't do this. Simple as that. There's some part of you that wants to fight, isn't there?"
The realization hit him at the same time as her fist hit his face, but even the pain couldn't make him stop the laugh that tumble past his lips.
"You like to play so soft and gentle," he said, reaching up to press his fingers to the bruise that was definitely going to form there, "but you're so pissed, aren't you? Pissed that you got brought into the Negaverse, pissed that you had to get out. So tell me one more time how much you don't want to fight while putting a lot of enthusiasm into punching my face in."
Wow, this was so much better than her being some sweet little angel. Someone who was pissed was someone who was way more interesting, as far as Alkmene was concerned.
Her magic slammed into him, taking him off his feet, and the feeling of hooves stomping onto him was enough to silence Alkmene's laughter, but it didn't entirely kill the smugness he felt.
"Don't want to do this," what hot bullshit.

Lysithea huffed and turned away, stalking off into the night. She had to meet Malus, and she wasn’t going to waste any more time with this ******** a*****e. He wasn’t worth her time. But.
He wasn’t wrong. She was still pissed. Pissed that she had lost everything twice. PIssed that she had to fight her way into becoming an Eternal senshi again.
Pissed that she couldn’t remember her life up until last November, and then couldn’t remember her civilian life before this past February. It wasn’t fair. It wasn’t <********> fair.
But. This a*****e didn’t matter…though it had felt very good to teach him a lesson, and honestly? If she saw him again…
Lysithea was quite sure she would end up doing the same thing.
