Brit was wandering around the forest, looking around, trying to find some pretty flowers she could bring home, but no luck, only dandelions, but if worse comes to worse, she could bring home those, they are pretty for weeds. She loved colors so much, her fav was purple though, lilacs were the best, but she couldn't find any of them. She looked up and the sky was grey, she then felt a cold drip on her nose. "Oh no, it's starting to rain!!" She looked around until she seen a big tree, that seemed to over the ground, so she knew shed stay dry there! She ran for it as it started to rain stronger and stronger. She hid under the tree and shook off most of the rain. "Ugh, I'm stuck!" she pouted and laid down trying to keep warm, it was a cool day, and the rain made her even more cold and sneezed. "Ugh i hope it stops soon." But it looked like it was going to rain for most of the day. Oh well.

Bhumi had enjoyed finding a bed of long summer grass that she could tunnel around in for several hours. When she tired, she tunneled out and made a bed to lay upon. Then, while fast asleep, the first drops fell on her belly, cold as a cloud. The temperature did not bother her, only startled her awake. She tunneled around some more until she came upon a tree. And beneath that tree was another fox. Her coat was white with splotches of rainbow, very pretty.
"Hello!" she yipped at Brightly. "Hiding from the rain?" Bhumi had been concealed for the most part under the grass, but between her bed and the tree she had still become a bit damp.

"Hello?" Brit looked towards the voice. ea, just hiding, don't like to get wet." She smiled. "My name is Brightly, but you can call me Brit, there's enough room under here if you wanna come out." Brit wondered where this fox she assumed came from. She flicked her tails to make sure they were almost dry. She sat up then wrapped her tails around her legs. "I honestly love the rain, just not standing in it, unless i needed to, which how often is that? Please come out." She smiled at the fox.

"Boo." Bhumi popped her head out from the grass, then jumped out and shook herself off. "My name's Bhumi. Nice to meet you, Brit." She tilted her head curiously. "What qualities of the rain do you like, if not getting wet?"

"Well, i like the way it feels when its raining out, i like the sound of it, i like watching it rain, i love the smell. theres so much to like about rain, ohh and i love thunder storms." She patted the ground next to her.

Bhumi sat down next to Brightly, where she had indicated. "I like the rain for those reasons too. And I am not afraid of thunder or lightning!" Distant thunder could be heard then and Bhumi scooted closer to the other fox. "It's best to take cover when it's storming out, though."

Brit covered Bhumi with her tails around her. "i can keep you protected from storms." She giggled "I love storms, great to cuddle up with another." She leaned her head on Bhumi. "Sorry, i just like to cuddle during storms, makes it even better." A huge crash of lightning shocked a tree nearby.

Brightly could protect her during a storm? Maybe not, but it did sound like a good excuse to cuddle. Her tails wrapped around them and she snuggled into Brit's tails. When the lightning struck, Bhumi squeaked and buried her face into Brightly's shoulder. That poor tree.

brit giggled and rubbed her head, "it's better that tree then us, but it could still survive, so don't worry." She pondered what to talk about. "What are your hobbies?" I bet Boo would have so many exciting things about her She was gonna call her boo, cuz that's how it sounds.

"You think the tree might survive? Do you think it felt pain from the lightning strike?" Bhumi peeked out and tried to find the tree that had been struck. She glanced back at Brit. Hobbies? "I don't... know... I like finding ruins, I guess?"

"Everything living feels pain, but i hope its not in too much pain." She scooted closer." Don't look out yet, wait till it passes." She itched her ear. "thats interesting i like to paint, read and learn. Do you like to read books?"

Bhumi thought about that. If the tree could feel pain then it must be in a lot of pain right now. She straightened when Brightly told her to wait before coming out. She could wait, no problem! "I love books! I love to learn about new places and things. I like the ruins because they are quiet though a little sad." It was not that she liked sadness, but it was like a calm sigh in her mind.

The clouds parted and it stopped raining. "Lets go play in the puddles, I dont mind getting wet that way." Brit smiled and wagged her tail. Lets see how much fun shed have? She hoped boo would have so much fun hat they really get to know each other. Brit was warming up to this fox, she seemed really cute, and she was very beautiful. "Oh, my alignment is light, just thought you should know." She smiled at boo.

The sunlight that pushed its way through the clouds was bright and clear. The world was wet but beautiful. "You're funny," Bhumi announced to Brightly when she said getting wet in the puddles was fun. "I like puddles too." She thought that perhaps Brightly could become a friend. Getting wet together did not make a friend but she was hopeful. "Oh, light? I'm earth!" She followed Brightly out, then trotted over to the nearest puddle. She looked down at her reflection before giggling and pouncing, getting her feet all wet.

Brit waggled her butt and ran at Bhu, then jumped over her and landed softly in the puddle, splashing them both. "Ooppps, sorry >.<;;;;; I didnt want you to get muddy, but dont worry, theres a fresh water lake a lil ways into the forest, it even has a small waterfall." Brit giggled and splashed some mud on bhus tails.
