Hidden Waterfall lives up to its name, the village itself is reached by traveling through a hidden passage at the base of a waterfall. From the air the village is hidden from sight, with the titanic tree hiding the village under its canopy.
Clans: Kakuzu Clan The clan of the long living Akatsuki member, this clan is noted for them being able to extend life indefinitely through extraction and incorporation of foreign human hearts. They can possess up to five human hearts at once, which lets them use all five chakra elements. Their bodies contain many threads for attacking and body manipulation.

Earth Grudge Fear Technique - 8000 Chakra [ Required to learn Kakuzu Clan's Other Jutsu ] ( +10 Speed, +10 Damage for Elements with a matching heart | Can only have 1 Heart per Chakra Affinity | +50 Health per additional Heart, Per Rank. | When HP is dropped to 0: HP is regained up to maximum - ( HP / # of Hearts ) | Hearts contain the total Chakra of the original owner: Used as an additional pool before the clan members when in Mask form ) The Earth Grudge Fear is a secret kinjutsu of Takigakure which transforms the user's body into something similar to that of a rag-doll, held together by hundreds of thick black threads allowing the user to replace lost or missing organs as well as have finite control of their body even at range through the use of the threads. A Kakuzu clan member who has obtained and stored multiple hearts can not only appear to live forever, but also release the hearts from their body as separate entities which possess both the Kakuzu clan members ability to manipulate the threads, as well as the element specific to the heart used to create them.
Earth Grudge Fear: Masks - 2500 Chakra ( Divide HP by number of Hearts: Masks given form have this for total HP. | Defense +25 for Masks and Clan Member | Allows the creation of 1 Mask per Heart that can use any known Jutsu of the selected Element Nature | +1 Additional Action per Mask in its own form, for use by the Mask itself. ) The extra hearts in a Kakuzu clan member's body are normally stored in various animal masks that were sewn onto their back, granting them vast amounts of chakra and numerous elemental affinities. They could detach these masks and have them take on a body of their own, composed entirely of threads. Those that witness them have agreed that the masks gave off a bad chakra. These masks were capable of attacking separately, unleashing devastating elemental jutsu combinations against their targets.
[ T ] Earth Grudge Fear: Thread Decimation - 2500 Chakra ( Speed +15, Strength + ½ Defense Damage ) A specialized Taijutsu style utilizing the black threads of the Earth Grudge Fear. It allows for the clan member to not only attack using the threads themselves, but also extend and manipulate their limbs from greater ranges without difficulty.
[ N ] Katon: Zukokku - 3000 Chakra ( Speed +10, Spirit + 20 Fire Damage ) Using the Fire Element masks to launch a small fireball that erupts into a giant fire-storm after making contact with a surface, causing widespread destruction to the area. Since the flames travel along the ground, and cover such a wide area this is a difficult technique to evade. When combined with Futon: Atsugai, this technique is amplified to the point of being able to evaporate a large amount of water in an instant.
[ N ] Futon: Atsugai - 3000 Chakra ( Speed + 10, Spirit + 20 Wind Damage ) A powerful wind technique released by the Kakuzu clan member's wind-element mask. This tornado-like mass is compressed until it has a very high density before being released. The blast can hit a vast range, inflicting massive damage on both the target and their close surroundings. This technique can also be combined with the Katon: Zukokku, to increase the flame's potency in a great scale, causing a massive fire-storm.
[ N ] Kimen no Bakuen - 1000 Chakra ( Through Combination of the Fire and Wind Masks: Futon: Atsugai + Katon: Zukokku effects. | +10 Additional Damage ) By having their fire and wind masks merge, with or without them, a Kakuzu clan member has them combine their fire and wind attacks to create a powerful blast of intense fire. Onlookers remarked that water alone wasn't enough to put it out. It took the effort of a wind-enhanced water technique to fully manage to counter it.
[ N ] Raiton: Gian - 4500 Chakra ( Speed + 15, Spirit +20 Lightning Damage | Cost can be paid additional times for: +5 Speed, +10 Damage. Max: 5 additional times ) The Kakuzu clan member uses their Lightning element masks to emit lightning in the shape of a spear from its mouth, which then pierces the enemy. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock, meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies or the same enemy multiple times. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This technique is capable of being focused into a straight beam, similar to a laser.
[ N ] Doton: Domu - 3500 Chakra ( Defense +50, Strength + ½ Defense Damage added to Physical Attacks / Taijutsu | Lightning Elemental Damage increased by 25 and immediately ends this technique before Damage calculation. ) The user flows earth-natured chakra through all or parts of their body, causing it to become noticeably darker, all while increasing their defensive power to become as hard as diamond. As such, this allows the user to easily be able to withstand most attacks with little to no damage, with the exception of Lightning Release ninjutsu. Furthermore, the destructive power of physical attacks is increased, making this a great all-purpose technique.
[ N ] Suiton: Suika Bakuso no Jutsu - 4000 Chakra ( Speed + 15, Defense +15, Spirit + ½ Defense Water Damage ) The user or the water element Mask can dissolve into a big pool of water, engulfing the opponent, then emerges from beneath the opponent's feet and explode. As the user is able to turn their entire body into water, they do not sustain damage and are able to re-assemble after detonation.
[ N ] Tendril Sewing Threads Technique - 600 Chakra ( Spirit +5 Health Restored | Ends Bleed damage | Can also be used to reconnect lost body parts, when used by a Kakuzu Clan Member ) Primarily used by the Kakuzu clan to heal injures and reconnect lost limbs. This ninjutsu technique uses either the Kakuzu's Earth Grudge Fear Threads or some variation of standard thread and applied Chakra to quickly heal allies and themselves alike.

The water acts both as a barrier and attack mechanism. The power of the vortex is enough to knock an opponent unconscious.
[ N ] Taikigakure Ryuu: Mizukuri no Yaiba - 1500 Chakra ( Speed +5, Spirit + ½ Strength Water Damage ) Hidden Waterfall Style: Sword of Draining is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like a normal blade.
[ N ] Water Dragon Whip - 2800 Chakra ( Speed +10, Spirit +15 Water Damage ) Suiryuuben is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja will generate a whirling sphere of water in their hand. This sphere can then emit whips of water, which can seek out and impale their target.
[ N ] Sky and Water Convergence - 2900 Chakra ( Spirit +5 vs Opponent's Speed | Spirit +20 Water Damage per post in Water ) Suitenhoufutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja first does a string of hand seals, which causes water to rise from the ground and surround the target. The ninja can then use this water to attempt to drown their target.
[ N ] Strong Current: Torrential Rain - 1,000 Chakra ( Spirit +10 Water Damage ) Suishuu Gorugon is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja will generate a mass of water. This can then be sent towards his target as a biting serpent.
After leaving the chunin exams, Reed walks in circles, eventually finding himself completely lost. Sighing in resignation, he accepts his fate and sits down beneath a massive tree, trying to calm himself and focus his mind. As he relaxes his body, his thoughts slowly quiet. He begins to notice the sounds around him more. There are insects everywhere, each one with different buzzing sounds. The birds flying above flutter their wings, their songs floating gently through the air. A softly roaring crash of water hums in the distance. It’s a very soothing sound like it’s washing away everything else, drowning it out. Reed follows the sound, walking all the way around the base of the massive tree before coming to a tall waterfall crashing down into a pool of water. Drawing closer, he leans down near the pool. Reaching his hand into the water, he gathers enough to drink. It seems like this is a very clean source of water, a great natural resource for growing plants and nearby animals. This is also a perfect opportunity for him to take a swim. Slowly inching his way into the water, he feels the refreshing warmth rush over him. He swims all the way through the pool to the base of the waterfall. Carefully, he swims underneath the pouring water, letting it shower over him like a heavy rainstorm. The water washes over him completely, cleansing him and clearing his mind of thoughts. He lets go completely, allowing the current to sweep him away under the water and through a tunnel, resurfacing from under a pool into a small cave. Catching his breath, he swims deeper into the cave, coming ashore onto a dirt path leading through a short rock tunnel. On the other side is an exit, leading back outside to a cliffside lined with waterfalls and rivers.

❦ Reed Hawthorne Genin Hidden Grass
Beyond the cliffs in the distance, a fog rolls in, blanketing the trees and obscuring what lies on the horizon. Curiously, he continues wandering along the cliffside, exploring the flowing tide pools and waterfalls. It feels almost like the water is guiding him forward, showing him the path to follow. Before long, the fog has covered the entire area, though the sun still shines brightly, allowing for some close-range visibility. He continues walking around the curved cliffside, eventually ending up feeling lost again. It doesn't seem possible to walk in a completely straight line here, given the rough landscape. This definitely makes it a little harder to navigate, and the fog certainly isn't helping. Luckily, the flowing water is a sure path forward, allowing him to keep making progress and not continue walking in circles.
Eventually, he comes to a much more leveled-out plain away from the cliffs. The roar from the massive waterfalls slowly dulls as he continues putting distance behind him. The fog has thinned out but still persists pervasively, filling the entire sky around him. Everything looks fuzzy and blurred, but visibility is slightly higher now than before. The sun above continues shining down, reflecting off the water to create a soft white glow. It seems he's found himself in a completely new area now, looking totally different than the rocky cliffsides from before.
