For all the time he’d spent on Earth, there was still so much that was new to Alastor. So much unfamiliar.
So, when he saw a uniform that ignited a memory in the back of his mind, of course he took notice.
The Pluto Squire was probably only minding his own business when Alastor was passing through the area; he’d just come from a meeting and was on his way home but couldn’t help but pause.
For a split second, he thought he should just walk over and introduce himself. Certainly, there would be more faces unknown to him now than ever before, no matter who he thought he knew or recognized. There were probably many uniforms that looked the same.
And yet, as he approached, he was certain enough that he felt no shame when he called, “Voyager?”

Voyager had been out on patrol around his usual route. He had been confronted a few times more than usual and he had wanted to make sure that the Negaverse wasn't attempting to take it as their own territory. He knew that he couldn't guard the entire area himself, but if he did notice a pattern he could send out a signal for help. He assumed. He wasn't too sure how the ring worked still. So when he felt the aura of a White Moon Senshi it had peaked his interest and he then realized that they were coming towards him. Getting to know each other perhaps? A new connection? Someone who would allow him to go their Homeworld?! Voyager was excited to say the least. So when the other called out to him, using his name and not realizing that the stranger Senshi shouldn't know it, he couldn't help but greet the other enthusiastically. "Yes hello! I'm Voyager! I don't believe we've met before! But it's always good to make new acquaintances!" He said as they finally got within speaking distance. Right then his brain had finally decided to catch up to what the Senshi had said. "Ah, how do you know my name? Well, powered name at least. Did you hear it from someone else?"

Sessrumnir had told him to be careful with letting too many people know that he was not from Earth, and it was a warning that Alastor had taken seriously. However, that level of secrecy made it practically impossible to actually answer things sincerely.
It was a dangerous game of deciding who he could trust and who was too risky.
A thief seemed pretty risky, although the face on this one was undeniably different from what he’d expected to see.
This was not the Voyager he remembered. But, if Sessrumnir was the same starseed cloaked in a new life, it stood to reason that this could be a similar situation.
Alastor was not entirely honest in his answer.
“A thousand years ago you were a thief. I recognize the outfit. From a lifetime ago, but.”
He was willing to give him a chance, and with diminished distance between them, he extended a hand. “I’m Alastor. It’s nice to meet you.”
He hoped.

"That's!... Not surprising." Voyager replied taking a moment to feel offended but then when thinking about it realized that yeah, pirates were thieves weren't they? "My Wonder has a bunch of artifacts from various Homeworlds and Wonders. I wouldn't be surprised if most of them were removed without permission." It was what those in museum's did in earlier days. Weren't there still some places that were arguing whether or not to return some pieces back to their home countries on Earth? He shook the other's hand. "Alastor! That's a great name. Of course you already know my name, but not me personally. I'm the current Voyager and different from the one you, I'm assuming, encountered before. Or at least heard of." He wouldn't be surprised if his ancestor had stories told about him. He could imagine that they weren't full of praise for the Knight. "Out on patrol or just enjoying the night? I like to patrol this area the most, but sometimes it's just such a nice night out that you can't help but enjoy it. As much as I like my Wonder, you can't really see the stars in the sky when you're there."

Alastor nodded without giving more information on what he knew about the ‘old’ Voyager. It wasn’t really necessary for the conversation, he supposed, and he was trying to be careful with what information he gave out. He shook Voyager’s hand and then lowered his hand to his side as he took a more relaxed stance.
“Well, it’s nice to meet you. Especially if you’re not out trying to lift artifacts from other worlds.” He supposed it was harder to travel now, and less likely that the current Voyager would have had the same inclinations as the one before him.
“A little bit of both. Working, really. I was just meeting with someone, trying to get some information.” He shrugged, a bit hesitant to divulge too much information, but well aware that he couldn’t just rely on the connections others worked out for him. “I’ve got a bit of a Chaos infestation. As it stands, I haven’t been able to see the stars from my world for a while, either. It’s been storming for a while, now. The clouds won’t break. The shadows there keep feeding into it all.”

"I at least ask if I can have it first." Voyager replied with a chuckle. He knew that his ancestor had most likely taken items like how old archeologists had taken artifacts. It was stealing either way and he didn't want to do that. He would much rather have permission, and it allowed him to get more information on the item rather than taking it out and investigating it later. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the problem that Alastor was having with his Homeworld. "I... don't have any experience with that. It sounds different compared to Pluto. I think Pluto is just naturally darker. And I can't say I've met anyone else who has had the same problem." He said with a shrug, curious as to what it looked like. "I'm not sure if I would be of any help, I haven't been a Knight for long, even if I have become a Squire. Still, I would think there would be some way to get rid of it. Siphon it out or maybe using Order magic. But I have no idea what to do for that." He looked apologetically at Alastor. "If you do need any help with it I would love to join you. It would be an interesting experience and one of the things I love about being a Knight is seeing everyone else's Wonders and Homeworlds, along with showing my own off." He said a bit proudly though was sincere about the help. He just had no idea how one would get rid of all of that Chaos. Could chaos like that still be punched?

For a moment, Alastor considered. On one hand, he needed the help. On the other hand, Voyager had tried to steal from him.
But then, he’d have been hypocritical if he was basing his judgment of this Voyager on his experience with the last one.
So, the decision was made.
He offered his hand to shake–a gesture of goodwill. Of trust.
He’d give this one the chance he’d wanted himself.
“It’ll be dangerous, I don’t want you to feel obligated to help. But if you think you’re up to the task, I appreciate it. There’s still a lot of work to do, but I’ll let you know when I’m getting closer. If there’s a way to get rid of this Chaos, I will find it. My world won’t be defeated.”
He wouldn’t be defeated.
No matter how long this battle had waged on for, no matter how strong the Chaos had grown, he wouldn’t let it win.
If it had been just him, he’d have tried to do it alone. But, he had people who cared about him. He couldn’t afford to be so reckless, not when he had them to consider.
He had people to protect. People he wanted to take care of. People he didn’t want to hurt.
He’d take all the help he could get.

He nodded his head, taking the other's hand to shake. "If it is, then I should still go through with it. I can't truly call myself a Knight if I've never put my life out there for anyone." He said with conviction. And he felt it to be true at least. While that didn't mean he had to go down fighting, it didn't mean he could just dally around doing nothing and hope that he would just become a Knight because. "And it won't be. It's still there. You'll get it back. It's always darkest before the dawn after all." He said with a chuckle, moving his hands back to his hips. "And I'm sure many others would be willing to help, as scattered and lonely as we are. But somehow we usually all come together when it's needed." He thought about the battle with the Vanguard. That had been another time, though it had been more planned. Still, he was glad that so many had fought, even if he wasn't sure that it would have been a bad thing had they lost the starseed. Unless he could see into the future, he was just happy that they had saved another life. And who knew, perhaps if they figured out a way to heal the starseed, they could eventually do that to other mutated starseeds! "Just give me the time and place and I'll be there."

Alastor might have had his reservations–but then, he did about nearly everything–but Voyager spoke with conviction and his heart seemed to be in the right place.
He would give him a chance. And if he wound up with one less artifact, maybe it wouldn't be the worst thing in the universe.
“I appreciate that, Voyager. When I figure that part out, I’ll send you a message. Your optimism is encouraging. I’ve met a few already that have offered to help, and I hope I’ll find more. I think, the more of us there are, the less chance there is that someone gets hurt. Though, I’ll owe a lot of favors after this, I imagine.”

"Great!" He didn't say anything about hoping it wouldn't be at an inconvenient time for him. As long as he didn't take any more days off for the foreseeable future, anything that came up he should be allowed to take his days off. He couldn't help but grin at the mention of "favors". But he said nothing. This Senshi had already told him about his ancestors and he was sure that the other wouldn't be favorable to having anything taken this time. Still, he might try to find an artifact on his ship if he were to ever go to Alastor and see if he could match it to there. He gave a nod. "All right then! And it's gotten late for me, so I shall be returning to my abode. I'm glad that we met tonight Alastor. It's always better to know more Senshi and Knights than hope we all just get together during a crucial moment. As much as we do that, I still believe that we need to have connections. Fighting chaos can feel lonely at times." With that said he gave Alastor a wave. "Until next time, farewell! And stop by the Natural History museum sometime! I'm sure you'll learn a lot!" And with that he was off in the direction of his house, ready to change into comfier clothes and perhaps read a book on space.
