Lazurite had decided it was a good night to see what her new friend could do, and so she had issued the invitation to Fluorapatite with the hopes that they could have a magic demonstration and figure out how best to work with one another in case of a stronger opponent.

She had stopped on the way to the park and had picked up a box of cookies from a bakery that she had found and was munching happily on one as she waited for the other Negaverse Senshi to appear. With how prone her friend was to passing out or getting dizzy…having the sugar nearby would be beneficial, she was sure.

Tapping her foot on the ground, Lazurite drew out her tablet once again and made her way to the database, adding a little more information to the note on the knight she had met, that beautiful…foolish Cear Sidi.

More information was always better, and hopefully they would meet again soon enough anyway so she could find a way to test her theories.

For now though, she was terribly excited to see Fluorapatite once again.

It took a bit longer than she would have liked to reach her destination. However, Fluorapatite was incredibly to use her ability to teleport outside of emergency situations as it depleted her energy reserves startingly quickly. Twice now she’d blacked out, waking up once on the floor of her living room and the other time on a hiking trail she used to frequent. Fortunately both times she’d been powered down but still; the idea of an enemy finding her, or learning where she lived was a harrowing thing to consider.

For now, she relied on driving herself to an area close to where they were to meet before powering up and using her ability to sense auras to guide her to Lazurite’s location.

“I apologize for making you wait.” Ashamed she couldn’t quite make eye contact but Fluora did offer a small smile. Luckily the migraine as of late had become more of a negligible ache centered on the right side of her head where it settled behind her eye. So long as she closed her eyes during the demonstration, the bright light from her own magic shouldn’t trigger anything.

When Fluorapatite came into view, Lazurite ran towards her and hugged her tightly, without any warning or preamble. “I’m just glad that you’re here! I was starting to get worried, how have you been? I’ve missed you a lot!”

When she drew away, she was smiling, and obviously the wait hadn’t bothered her, and if it had, the very fact of seeing her friend again helped it. “I know that this was a strange request, but I think it would help if we knew what our magic can do, you know? I mean, that way if we ever get into a fight or a situation, we know how best to utilize one another…provided we’re both there.”

Grinning and tossing back one of her long braids, Lazurite looked almost thoughtful. “My magic is mostly a distraction, but it’s a really good one. Would you like me to use it first, or do you want to try yours first? I’m good either way.”

Fluora returned the sudden embrace with a weak hug of her own, a product of being mostly tired lately. She would have liked to just rested her head on Lazurite’s should for a moment but she had already drawn away in her excitement.

“I think that’s a good idea,” to see what each other could do so they weren’t surprised mid-fight when it was used. Fluorapatite’s could be startling when unexpected and the range on her stronger attack could be impressive if everything was set up for it. Potential for a perfect storm but with one on one battles or areas where opponents are too spread out, the effectiveness of it was no better than her basic attack.

“You can go first,” anything to delay the use of her own magic since she didn’t know how much of a tole her own would take on her already tired mind and body. Best not to pass out again before they both got their turn.

Lazurite nodded and grinned. “As you wish. You won’t be able to keep your eyes off of me though, fair warning.” She winked and summoned her magic. “Alluring Drop!”

As the ball of nectar formed in her hand, she held it out, making sure to fully capture her friend’s attention. “It’s very useful, I can bring people over to me, or get them away from me if I throw it…once I had my hand around someone’s starseed and I was so close…”

She broke off and shrugged. “Anyway that was when I just shoved it onto me...make me irresistible, you know?”

Grinning, Lazurite gently tossed the ball into the air and then threw it with more force up into the air, her eyes watching her friend to see what the reaction would be.

At first, she didn’t understand what she was seeing. A golden orb- yes. But unlike the energy orbs Fluora had collected, the one Lazurite held had a different appeal.

A soft scent wafted towards her when the drop was held out to her and for a long moment, Fluora felt incredibly puzzled. There was a sweet scent that lingered in the air between them, one that was distinctly familiar and made her stomach twist and knot itself in hunger pains, and yet- she couldn’t quite pinpoint what it was she was smelling.

The orb was then tossed into the air and she followed it with a steady gaze. When it began its descent, the pale-haired corrupt stepped forward to try and catch the small orb in her hand.

That is when it hit her, that smell. That lovely decadent fragrant that she often asked her mother to make as a kid. This time her stomach did let out a louder almost demanding growl that was incredibly unladylike. “Well- I definitely have a wicked craving for fried bananas with powdered sugar and maple syrup now.” At least the recipe was simple enough to make and, aside from the bananas, she had all the other ingredients already at home.

“Will it always smell like this, or will it change to something else when you use your magic again?” As the Senshi of Nectar, Fluorapatite assumed that whatever the opponent smelled, it would be of the sweetened variety. But she could be wrong.

“Honestly, I’m not sure! It doesn’t really smell like anything to me, but it always, always captures people’s attention and keeps it there. It’s quite useful, it can bring me people I want closer, and gives me a great way to escape if I need to.” Lazurite waited another few moments until the magic faded, and then took a few steps back, her expression eager.

“I’m…a little nervous for your magic, but at the same time I’m really excited to see what you can do. I bet it’s amazing, just like you are!”

She spread her arms wide and made a face, her brows wiggling just slightly. “Come on, Fluora. Hit me with your best shot, hopefully I won’t die from it…I doubt I’d die from it, but oh! We can get ice cream after if you want, as a reward for the practice. I do like rewards.”

“I-uh…” Fluora both looked and felt uneasy by how willing Lazurite was to be the target for her own magic. “I’d rather not hit you with it. My magic is meant to hurt someone; if not that- then blind them at the very least.” The residual effect of her own abilities that she was looking forward to the least. Sudden bright flashes of lights did her no favors when trying to stave off a migraine.

Glancing around the area she spotted a bench below a street light and walked over to inspect it. The base material was made out of some composite material, one of the city's efforts to go green, but there were still exposed studs holding it together; enough surface area to them that she was certain enough people had zapped themselves on it when taking a seat; much like kids who slid down the plastic slides at the park.

“Watch first, then decide if you’re still willing.” Fluorapatite moved through the motions of activating her magic, rubbing her gloved hands together she formed a ball of static energy in the palm of her hand then, reaching out with a hand, she called out her attack, “Chaining static shock!”

From where she stood a brilliant arch of static lept from fingers and lurched forward at the bench. From its first target it jumped upward towards the light above them which caused the halogen lamp to grow brighter for a moment before exploding into a shower of glass. The arch of static descended once more, hitting the bench before dissipating into nothing more than darkness and luminescent cyan streaks of afterimages where the path of static had burned into her eyes. It took a couple of blinks for it to fade and a few more to completely go away

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Chaining static shock
Sìdòuèr targets one opponent within 10' of her current location. This attack is similar to her first attack, however this time the attack can affect up to three targets and has a slightly larger radius. Rubbing her hands together she forms a ball of static energy forms in the palm of her hand; as an image of a Kirin begins to form it then charges/arches towards the intended target. If the ball of static energy hits the intended target, it gives the opponent a nasty shock it may numb the area where the opponent was struck (but it will not paralyze them unless she hits the same person in the same spot multiple times). Once the shock makes contact with the target it will then charge/ jump to the next nearest opponent dealing the same damage before jumping one final time (either back to the first opponent or to a 3rd opponent). The opponents must be either in front of her, or to her side, it will not target someone behind her unless she knows they are there and they are in range (The bolt can only hit a max of 3 people (or things), it can only jump twice).

If a battle takes place at night or in a dark area, there is a chance of the opponent's vision being either momentarily blinded or seeing the afterimage of the shock for 2-5 seconds (it is the exact same effect as if you are standing in a dark room and someone flips the lights on then off really quick you'll see a bright probably blue after image lingering in front of you while your eyes adjust). If the opponent is more than 10' away from her the static shock will target a near metal object in an attempt to reach said opponent (eats up a jump) if it still cannot reach out towards the opponent the static will fizzle out. This attack can be used 2 times per battle.

The magic was…amazing, and honestly, Lazurite was very glad that Fluora had been kind enough not to actually use it on her, but she gasped in awe and clapped her hands after the demonstration, trying to blink the image of the bright light from her eyes and made her way closer to the other corrupt, nodding in excitement. “God, between you and me, we have no issues do we? I distract them and you zap ‘em!”

Oh, if she could only have her friend with her when she saw that damn Mars Squire…he wouldn’t get away then. Wouldn’t be able to use his stupid magic on her and…ugh. That would just be perfect, honestly.

“I will say I’m a little jealous that you get such awesome magic! There are some people that I would love to just…zap to hell, you know? Some people just deserve it.” With a dramatic sigh, Lazurite wrapped an arm around Fluora’s waist and rested against her. “Now that we’ve seen our abilities…do you want to get ice cream? Or sandwiches and ice cream? I know of a really good all night deli that has fantastic sundaes too~ Can I treat you to some?”

She could, obviously she could...but she wanted to make sure that her friend would allow it.

There were definitely times when she wished that her static was a bit stronger. Then again, Fluorapatite was certain that she was not alone and that others felt the same way about their magic as well.

“Thanks to your magic, a sunday sounds [i[real good about now.” Not quite the same as fried bananas but still had a banana in it so close enough in her book. Plus, a cold desert coupled with a slightly warmer than a normal evening in the company of the only person she could call friend; definitely sounded like a great way to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Fortunately, expending energy showing off her magic didn’t leave her feeling as winded as she’d expected to be. So, with little more than a second thought, Fluorapatite powered down into normal civilian clothing; a yellow tank top with dark-blue jeans. “My car’s not far. If you can give me directions, I’ll drive.”

Lazurite nodded. “Perfect then!” She allowed her own powered form to fade and clung to Yifei’s arm and laughing in delight. “All right, that sounds fair to me!”

Tonight had been good, and now they were going to get food, and everything was just…perfect. Hopefully she would figure out how to really help her friend, but until then. She would do all that she could, regardless.
