Periclase was still simmering after meeting that stupid Squire who had the audacity to be such a brat. Such a rude, unnecessarily rude brat.
The idea to reach out to Lopezite, to see if hitting with all of the bunches at once made a difference was brought to the surface when she was thinking about the stupid girl, and so she had sent the invitation, promising Lopezite that after she used her magic, she would have a place for him to sit down and rest if it went badly, and she would. There was a bench right there, and he would be able to sit and rest on it.
She was pleased when he had agreed, and paced back and forth, waiting for her General to arrive…and when he did, she moved to him, giving a heavy sigh that seemed as though the world were ending. “Look, I take it back, most of the White Moon are absolute bitches, and I ran into a Squire, and asked her…maybe not nicely, maybe I did have an attitude, I won’t…I mean. It wasn’t rudely though. I wasn’t rude to her. But she was such a b***h to me! So look, I just. I don’t know.”
Rubbing the bridge of her nose, Periclase gestured to the bench. “Why don’t you sit down? I’m going to use the magic right up against you, I think that gives us the best chance to have all four touch you at once.”

Really, Lopezite wasn’t looking forward to this. Just one bunch had been awful before, but he considered this important research and it probably wouldn't kill him. He hadn’t heard of any Senshi magic killing anyone before, at least, so he supposed it must be safe. If something went wrong, she could just teleport him to the medical bay and they could do something for him–hopefully.
Although, it was quite a surprise to see how quickly her feelings had shifted. He couldn’t blame her, though; the White Moon was fickle and unpredictable.
He lowered himself into the chair and sighed, already resigned to whatever horrible fate her magic would bestow upon him.
“I’m sorry to hear about your encounter. What was her name, did you manage to get that? I’ll try to sit still and focus on your magic. It might ease my suffering to listen to you speak.”

“Well, seriously, all I did was ask her…and yeah, maybe I was a little cocky, but I just asked if she would mind donating some energy.” Periclase drew in a deep breath and moved closer to Lopezite, blowing a kiss and murmuring, “Hemlocks bite.”
Now, to keep talking and distract him from the stupid pain of her magic. This…
He had been the one who asked for it.
“Anyway, she started asking if I was working with an Adonis and if I was just asking her to get a rise out of her, and of course I lost my temper and attacked…and then she was even ruder, and I said that she better watch out because one day she’d piss off the wrong person and someone would crush her starseed inside of her chest, and dammit, General, I wanted to do it. I almost did but.”
Periclase shuddered slightly. “Starseeds. Are a sensitive subject. A youma ate my sisters. I don’t blame the youma, not really I just. I mean. I did dust it, and I would dust it if I saw it again but…”
She sighed. “It’s such a weakness…just right there for the taking.”

Lopezite braced himself for the magic, because even if he knew what to expect, he didn’t know what severity he should expect. He doubted he had any sort of magical tolerance, or that the more he exposed himself to this, the less it would affect him, so he sat perfectly still so every bit of her magic could hit him.
Oh, it was awful. It hit him twice as fast as the last time and the effects were immediately awful. He had to press against the back of the chair to brace himself, and a thick, creeping blackness was crawling along the corners of his vision.
“I’m sorry to hear about your sister,” he said, but the voice didn’t sound familiar to him. He was doing his best to keep his voice steady and even, but inside he felt like waves of toxic poison were filling him up. He felt as though he’d been tossed about in the sea and was just waiting to drown. He was boiling and frozen at the same time. He felt like he wasn’t even in his body, and he couldn’t keep his vision straight.
He could hear her, but he was so sick that he could hardly think.
Lopezite stayed put through willpower alone but he was thinking that he’d like to lay down and try to sleep this off as soon as it ended.
“Your magic is incredibly strong. I don’t think you’ll have any issue defending yourself if you can hit someone with all at once.”
He swallowed and just focused on breathing. “I don’t like taking starseeds, myself. I’ve only done it once. And it was because he’d stabbed me and I panicked.”

Periclase’s brows raised and she watched Lopezite with some concern on her face. “Are you okay? You look awful…ah…you got stabbed? Who…why would someone stab you…that…seems pretty crappy…ah…” She hesitated and drew a bottle of water from her subspace pocket. “Do you want to head back to your office and go lay down again? I’m…really glad that you think I can handle myself…that means a lot. Especially coming from you.”
She gave a little smile and hesitated. “Here, I’ll take us back…it’ll be good practice anyway.” And before he could protest, she took hold of his arm and teleported them both to his office, inteding for him to rest so that he could feel better after her magic.
