Coming into the apartment, Daphne made her way to the kitchen right off the bat and slid the ice cream into the freezer, along with the vodka, placing the milk in the fridge. She gave a loud sigh, hoping that Crystal would hear, and understand that she needed comfort, and before saying anything, made her way to the living room, eyes brightening just slightly to see her girlfriend on the couch, and then joining her there, stretching out and laying with her head in Crystal’s lap.
“I’m not sure what the point of trying to win them over is. Some senshi are just bitches, and sometimes I think I should just rip out their starseeds and be done with it.”
She looked up at the other woman, pouting slightly. “Should I even bother to keep trying? I met the one the other night, and I really think she might be one that I can get to join us, but this one…this one was just…She was punching a tree and so I was like, hey you good? And she just went off on me like I had killed her puppy or something awful. I was honestly worried about her, and if I could have helped…I would have…”
Daphne closed her eyes, giving a long, drawn out sigh. “I got ice cream for us. And vodka. And milk. I think we can make boozy shakes when I’ve calmed down enough to make them, if you’re at all interested.”

Crystal spent most of her time not working or powered at her girlfriend's apartment, not because she hated hers, but because she adored her girlfriend with her everything, so when Daphne was storming through putting things away, Crystal's ears pricked as she turned the television off and looked towards the kitchen in concern, lips twitching into a frown at the frustrated sigh. When Daphne joined her on the couch, Crystal let her vent first -- but she moved slowly to pull the woman closer to cuddle reassuringly, fingers stroking her hair gently as she sighed herself. Ah, Order. She'd had her own issues with Order lately -- Elpis, honestly, had escaped and now Ferris couldn't find her at all, so she quite understood, looking thoughtful as she considered things carefully. "I think," Crystal began. "You didn't do anything wrong, to begin with. Order senshi seem kind of paranoid to me. I tried to catch the one I wanted to bring home and now she's bloody missing. I think what's happening is they don't always realize we want to help because they're being lied to. By what I'll get back to you on, but it's... Frustrating." Her head dipped a moment thoughtfully, before she gestured and frowned. "Personally I'm not against just dragging them if they'd benefit the Negaverse, otherwise... I mean, they'll learn or die eventually, right?" That seemed about right!... Probably.

The hand in her hair was literally everything that Daphne had wanted, and her eyes closed on their own. Honestly, if she could have started purring she would have. There was just something nice about having short hair and having a girlfriend to play with it.
“Just dragging them…I mean, I suppose I’d do that if I had to, I just. I don’t know. I want to feel like…they can trust me. I want them to feel like they can trust me. I want…to guide them. I used to have a really good General before I was replaced and she ******** off into who knows where but…she was so good at guiding me. And I just. I want to be that for someone else.”
Sighing, Daphne nudged the hand in her hair a little bit, not wanting the petting to stop.
“...It seems like…I don’t know. It’s an option, obviously. Just grabbing them and going…but I want them to willingly follow me. Maybe it’s just a power complex but…I want to be in full control of the situation...and if they forget everything from just being corrupted against their will…there will always be a chance that I could lose them…you know?”

Crystal did indeed, keep doting, running fingers through Daphne's hair as she liustened, deep in thought and closing her eyes. It was a complicated dream - not a bad one, simply... Complicated. Messy. But then, Crystal had been corrupted, not awakened to the Negaverse, and she gave a soft 'hmm' before breathing deeply. "When you're corrupted after awakening on the other side... I think you forget anyhow. I forgot most everything. It's a sacrifice, I think - the price of being stolen by whatever ill steers Order. But..." Crystal smiled at Daphne dotingly, and cooed. "I think that's an opportunity. They'll barely have an idea of who to lean on, or help them. No idea how to proceed. You... Can guide them when they're still finding feet and... Show them reason they'll be okay. And that's a powerful bond, I think -- the one of knowing someone cares aboiut you without knowing who you are or were. It's as strong as having a gentle hand leading you to where home is."

That was all true. And it was good advice too…Daphne sighed and looked up at Crystal, giving a small, almost sleepy smile. “...That’s very true. And I like the sound of it all…I’ll find someone to mentor. And I…I mean, I might be reaching a little, but I guess…I kind of helped you, didn’t I? You seemed as though you were foundering when we met…but now look at you. You’re thriving. You’re beautiful, wise and strong…and I’m so proud to be able to call myself your girlfriend.”
No, no she couldn’t fall asleep here, no matter how easy it would be, lulled by gentle fingers and a soft lap. “No, no I have to get up, you, you are working to lure me into sleep, and if we’re going to get somewhat tipsy on milkshakes, that can’t happen!”
She laughed softly, feeling…somewhat better. A lot better. Mostly better.
Moving to her feet, Daphne waggled a finger at Crystal and headed back to the kitchen. “You can seduce me into dreams after I make these, deal?”
With a wink, she pulled out the blender and began to make pure chaos out of the kitchen.
…But it was pure chaos that was well worth it.

"You saved me." Crystal pressed a kiss to Daphne's forehead fondly, smiling at her with nothing but love, adoration, and contentment in her eyes. The love and affection remained any time she looked upon her, but the pride was bursting from her chest. "I know you can help a lot of other senshi find their footing -- you're strong, and smart, and capable. You're the best girlfriend a woman could ask for." The words were genuine and she was delightyed to see Daphne feeling better, before brightening., "Oh, I can live with that~ And maybe tomorrow we can patrol together. I[/i[] got an upgrade and want you to see! It's marvelous." She'd waited to show her partner first, and she was abnsolutely content to wait for Daphne to cause kitchen chaos.
Crystal would always wait for Daphne... She mattered more to her than even the Negaverse itselfm and where she led, Crystal would always follow.
Always.
