Hyeon had heard about a new store that opened up in a part of the city he didn't typically go to, one that specialized in South Korean exports which including a wide variety of merchandise from food to Kpop memorabilia. Out of curiosity, he headed over to check it out. When he got there it was fairly busy with patrons but not so busy that he would be more inclined to come back later. He headed over to the food area first after grabbing one of the hand baskets just in case he found anything he wanted to buy.

Minsoo had been living in Destiny City for years now, too long if you asked him, and he'd not seen Hyeon in years yet he knew the other lived in this city - it was why he'd come here. When they'd disbanded and everyone had gone their own way he'd come here...hoping to find someone whom he could stay with. He missed the other members, how could he not?
When he'd heard about the new shop that had opened up, in the asian district, he'd headed over in the hopes of finding some foods from home. He tended to order a lot, perhaps too much, from amazone and other stores online so he could get foods from back home. If this place had even a few tghings he wanted, that he bought on a regular basis, it would be a huge convience for him.
A basket in hand he was browsing the shelves as he had to bow to someone and excuse himself as he'd almost walked into them. He'd heard they had kpop merch as well and for a single moment he'd hoped nothign with his face on it would be found there...but they'd barely been around or done much. It wasn't likely - he was safe surely.

They really should have met up before now, but every time there might have been time to meet up something happened that lead to them missing each other. When Hyeon Walked around one of the display shelves to see a familiar man standing there bowing to another customer his breathing stopped for a moment. He waited until the customer walked away, taking the time to make completely sure that this was indeed Minsoo, and then immediately bee-lined tor him once he was free.
"Park Minsoo!" He said, keeping his voice down out of respect for the other customers other wise he would have raised it in his excitement.

Turning around, surprised to hear his name called, he didn't know a lot of people in the city and most didn't know him well enough to call out to him in a store. When he turned it took him a moment to realize who he was staring at. "Kim Hyeon." Greeting as he bowed to the other. Dark eyes bright as he looked over the other.
"It has been a long time. I was hoping by now I would have run into you in this city...but it is a big city." He had, thankfully, been working on his english since arriving here. He'd been learning english for a while before coming here, part of the job of an idol, but he'd continued with it once he'd arrived as he'd needed the skill. It was still abit unsure, he was still new to the language, but it was better than it had been the last time he'd seen Hyeon - back in South Korea.
"They have some good foods here."

Hyeon bowed back, though he couldn't help the bright smile on his face as he did so. "It has indeed been a long time." Just seeing the other man in person had him feeling like he could burst from happiness but he kept that excitement mostly contained to only show in his expressions. "How have you been?"
At the mention of the food he glanced briefly to the aisle sides but turned his attention back to Minsoo. Yes he was curious at what he could find here and was looking forward exploring more in the store but that was all secondary now.

"It's been too long." He answered slowly, he missed the other...he missed seeing someone familiar who knew him and knew him well. The group he'd been with for so long, had seen him through so many things, had known him better than nearly anyone else.
"Lonely." He answered simply, and honestly, because it was true. He was lonely in this city where he knew no one so well, and none knew him so well.
"I've been keeping myself busy." Because he needed to, he needed to keep busy so he couldn't drown in the feeling of being alone and adrift in a city where he knew no one and had nothing. He felt like an outsider and so he worked and pushed himself and spent as much time working as he could, taking time at home to feed his cat and cuddle up with her but that was all he had and it was all he needed...right?

When Minsoo mentioned how lonely he had been, Hyeon didn't even stop himself from reaching out to grasp one of his hands and thread their fingers together. "I know the feeling, it hasn't been the same without you all, though I admit having family here helped." It still wasn't quite enough but it was still something.
He took a step closer to the other man to gently bump shoulders against him. "Well, now that we have finally met up again, let's make sure it's a regular occurrence hm?" He said with a hopeful smile.

"I'm glad you had family here to help you." As it wasn't easy to adjust to a new country, as he knew all too well. He'd done it on his own and it had not been easy at all, especially finding a job so he could lose himself in it. Working on his english hadn't been easy either, he'd had to find a place where he could learn and with people who knew Korean so could help him better.
Leaning into the others side he nodded his head once. "We should, we should spend more time together, I find it rather lonely in my apartment without lots of noise and people." He wouldn't mind it if the other spent dinner at his place or even slept over...it would fill the void from when he got home to when he went to bed...a void that was emopty and silent - too silent.

"Agreed, I think without them I would have ended back in South Korea and probably back to overworking myself." Hyeon said, a frown briefly crossing his face. If he had ended up powered up without their support he would have probably stayed around for a bit but leave ultimately since he wasn't a big fighter anyway.
He then gave a soft smile to Minsoo and squeezed his hand. "After we finish exploring the store, do you want to go get lunch with me? We can catch up and talk over future plans." He didn't want to let go of the other and was already plotting how to either make regular visits or maybe seeing if Terry and Seung wouldn't mind a new house mate...

"Lunch would be good." It would be really good actually, it would be nice to share a meal with a friend. He hadn't seen Hyeon in a long time to spending a while with him, especially over food, would be a good way to spend some of the free time he had. "Future plans....I don't have any - work...I don't know what else to do." He'd been training for so long that he hadn't ever thought of anything else...he hadn't gotten time in the past to consider and now, in a new country, he really hadn't had the time to ponder it. he'd thrown himself right into the deep end with perfecting his English and working here.
"Korean food?" he questioned the other, while moving a few steps away in order to grab some drinks he'd seen.

"I know how that this." Hyeon too has floundered in figuring out what to do after having to give up on his life in Korea. He still floundered really but not as much as when he had originally arrived. "We can work on that together if you like. They do say that 'two heads are better then one' after all." At least he was fairly certain he had used that saying correctly.
He took his attention off the other man only briefly to look around, but turned it back to him just as quickly. "Let's finish up here and go. Korean food sounds perfect right now." He said then turned his attention to the shelves around them.
