Periclase hummed softly as she walked towards the order aura that she felt, half wondering if it would be the elusive Elpis that she was still trying to find. Ferris still wanted her, but…she was starting to wonder if the other senshi actually existed. She was sure that she did but…
Whatever.
She didn’t move to cause any fear, well. Perhaps she caused it simply by existing, and that was rather an intoxicating thought but, she didn’t feel like causing any tonight. Her humming continued, a warning that she was following, but the order aura didn’t move from where it remained, so Peri moved closer, eyes widening slightly at the sight of the senshi all curled in on herself, sitting on a swing.
Well. This wouldn’t do.
Quietly, carefully, (Sand wasn’t that easy to get through in heels after all), Periclase made her way to the swings as well and sat on the one next to the white and blue clad senshi, falling quiet.
After a moment, she began to rock back and forth, and then hummed softly again. “...You good? I’m assuming you’re the senshi of roses, yeah? I’m Peri, Senshi of Hemlock. We flower girls have to stick together.” Periclase’s voice was soft, and surprisingly gentle.
Of course, when someone was weak like this, it was better to be gentle.

It had been...a very long few days, Ilse thought. And a very difficult few days. To say the absolute least. Finding herself a nice swing to sit on and marinate in her thoughts, Ilse thought, was a perfectly reasonable response to everything that had happened to her.
It was quiet, and peaceful, and she could push herself back and forth a little, and it felt better than curling up under a blanket and crying, and anyway, it was a nice summer night and sitting around and enjoying it was...a worthwhile thing to do, probably.
She could feel another aura, but she didn't get up to run--if the other person attacked her, maybe she'd defend herself, but honestly, she was just...comfortable. And when the strange corrupt just sat down next to her instead of attacking, she managed a slightly sad, but still present smile.
"Hi," she said, quietly. "Not roses, no. The, um. The Unattainable, which I guess is what blue roses represent? I'm Ilse, and it's nice to meet you, miss Periclase." She raised a hand and gave a little wave.

“I didn’t realize that blue roses meant anything like that, that’s neat!”
Periclase gave a wave in return and continued to rock herself slightly. Thoughtful. “You doing okay? You seem…and please, this isn’t a pun, but it could very easily be one, but you seem a little…blue.”
Glancing towards Ilse she reached out a hand, and placed it lightly on the senshi’s shoulder, gently rubbing it with her thumb. “I’m a damn good listener if you need to vent. And if it’s someone who’s bothering you, I also come with the added bonus of being able to teleport and take starseeds, you simply need to point at who you want taken care of and I’m on it.”
She gave a little laugh and hesitated. “...Would you be terribly angry if I took some energy for my quota? Just a little, if you’re all right with it.”

It was strange, to be sitting here next to someone on the other side, having a nice chat, and feeling more comforted than she had in a long time. Perhpas because she barely knew Periclase, it was almost easier to open up--they would probably never see each other again, which meant that Ilse didn't have to worry too much about burdening her, right?
So, she smiled, a little wanly, and nodded.
"It's...been a hard couple of weeks," she said. "Just...a lot of messy things happening, and some of it is my own fault, but some of it is bad luck and that's the hard part, you know? The stuff that's just me being stupid, I can fix that, and be a little less stupid, but the bad luck....I can't do anything about that."
She wring her hands in her skirt and sat up.
"But you don't have to hurt anyone for me! That's very nice of you to offer, but...really! It's okay!" And, anyway, given that her new friend, of sorts, had just made such a....well, it probably counted as a nice offer when you had Chaos messing you up a little, and also that it was probably better to source energy from someone giving it up on purpose than from an innocent civilian, she extended her arm. "Anyway, yeah, sure. Take...I mean, don't knock me out, please? But however much you need short of that."

Periclase began drawing some energy from the senshi, still rubbing her shoulder gently, offering what comfort she could. She didn’t take much, enough to make about a quarter of her quota, and when it was safely in subspace, she sighed softly. “I doubt that it’s your fault, Ilse. I’ve had a lot of things happen to me, and that’s one of the hardest things to really get past. It’s not your fault. When bad things happen…it’s not your fault.”
Just like her sister dying. Her General utterly vanishing after replacing her. It wasn’t her fault.
With a sigh, Periclase glanced at Ilse and managed a small, sad smile. “Still. I haven’t been able to protect people all the time, and I don’t take kindly to abuse of any level so if that is the issue, and if whoever it is is telling you that you deserve it…well. I don’t tolerate that. So, if it’s something I can help with physically, I will. If you aren’t ready for my help yet, maybe we’ll see one another again sometime.”

Ilse took a breath.
There was a weight o hearing that. To hearing a near-total stranger, who had a hand on her shoulder and who was speaking to her so kindly, say it's not your fault.
"I...I know that, kinda," Ilse said, and she took a breath, and tried to make herself Not Cry, because it would be ridiculous for her to start crying right now. "Just, sometimes it feels like it must be my fault, you know? But nobody's telling em that, just...me."
She forced a smile, even if it was more than a little watery, and she stood up, dusting off her skirts.
"Thanks for listening to me," she said, voice soft. "You're really sweet. I hope we get to meet again."
Maybe she would be able to show Periclase another way. Maybe this girl, who was so eager to protect someone she barely knew, could be convinced that she didn't belong on the side that did nothing but hurt people. Ilse liked to hope that was possible, at least.

Periclase watched her, a small, sad smile on her face. “I hope we get to meet one another again too. I hope that you can find what you’re looking for, and I hope that you can be happy. You deserve it. I know it feels like it’s your fault, but I promise that it’s not.”
Getting off of the swing, Periclase stretched and moved closer, hugging Ilse close for a moment and giving her a long squeeze. “You’ve got this. Just keep fighting.”
She drew away and gave a little wink. “Stay cute too, but that won’t be hard for you. See you later.”
And without another word, Periclase teleported away, hoping that she would have planted some sort of seed, and that the next time she saw the senshi…she could start her on the path to corruption.
