Knights! The city was filled with far too damn many Knights!
Lazurite looked at the male who stood before her with a frown, half of the frown was due to concentration at trying to puzzle out what he was a Knight of but the other half was simply the fact that it was another Knight.
There were way too many of them in this city.
“Okay. Again. I give up. You’re not Moon, or Chronos…I don’t think you’re Polaris and…to tell the truth I don’t remember the other one I met so obviously it didn’t leave much of an impression so spill. What kind of a Knight are you. I feel like I’m playing bingo and you might just be that last square I need to win!”
She tapped her chin and sighed. “Anyway. Show me what you can do and tell me who you are Mr. Knight, and that’ll satisfy all of my curiosity. Isn’t that doing your good deed for the night, don’t you think?”
A grin, and Lazurite moved her hands behind her back, wanting to be able to call her magic in relative secret if she needed to.

Okay. This was not what Meninx signed up for tonight. He’d heard something weird. He was trying to be responsible. He went to make sure it wasn’t someone getting murdered.
It probably wasn’t. Probably.
He hadn’t been able to find what it was, or who it was. They’d had no energy signature, and despite his best efforts to search the nearby area, he’d found nothing.
But, she’d found him.
She came out of nowhere, and Meninx watched her with a guarded expression. He clutched his wooden half-staff wishing that there were real snakes on the end of it. It’d be great if he could just shake it and send them flying at her, but no. Nothing was ever easy.
“Mars,” he answered slowly, because that wasn’t a name. That wasn’t a power. He had a stick, what did she want him to do, hit her with it? He was in such a crabby mood that his conscience wasn’t even telling him not to.

Mars. Okay. A half answer, and one that caused Lazurite to scoff and roll her eyes. “A Knight of Mars, hm? All right. Good enough I suppose. Haven’t met one of those before so, cross one off on the bingo card. Tell me. What do you do with Mars, hm? You’re…your colors are very…preschoolish. Very bright, make me want to play with some building blocks. Do you have a name or should I just call you Mars forever? Because I could, if you wanted me too.”
Lazurite began to walk, keeping a few feet away from him but beginning to circle like a shark.
“I’m Lazurite, see, I’m nice enough to give a name unlike you. I hope that makes you feel as special as can be!”
Or not. She didn’t really care. But…she wondered how easy it would be to rile this one up.

His eyes were narrowed as he watched her and he knew she was trying to rile him up. He had a brother, he knew all the tricks.
Except, it was working.
Her stupid, juvenile insults. As if he got to pick this outfit. Probably no more than she got to pick hers, but he wasn’t going to go guessing. He didn’t care, he wasn’t judging her for her stupid long hair and he stupid lace or whatever.
He turned to face her as she circled him, cautious. Guarded.
“What do you want?” he asked, trying to keep this brief. She was just messing with him. She was trying to distract him.

“Your name. An introduction. How long have you been a Knight. The usual. What do you think you can accomplish running around the city with…”
Her eyes landed on his stick and she couldn’t stop the sneer that came over her face. “...A stick. Do you really think you’ll be able to defend anyone with that? I mean, Obviously I don’t have weapons, but those on my side, the agents of my group? They have real weapons and they can actually help people. I suppose if you try hard enough you could bludgeon someone to death but. That would take a lot of effort, don’t you think?”
Lazurite continued to watch him, continued to stare and finally called her magic, just her basic magic but…if it would help her get a starseed or really unsettle him…it would be more than worth it. “Sweet Drop!”
The tiny orb was cradled in her hands and then held out towards the Mars Knight. Kyuseisha no Hikari Sweet Drop Lazurite forms a golfball sized orb of shimmering nectar which draws a person’s attention to it, smelling sweet and rather alluring. The ball can be thrown or put on herself if she is trying to draw someone closer, and the alluring smell lasts for twenty seconds. She can use this magic three times per battle.

Would it take a lot of effort to bludgeon someone to death?
His eyes fixed on the little golden orb. He couldn’t tell what it was, or why she’d pulled it out, but–yeah. Suddenly that made sense. A distraction or something. He knew what she was doing.
Except, he couldn’t stop staring at ********>, what good was knowing what she was doing if he coudln’t do anything about it?
He gripped the stick tighter.
Did she want to find out? Did he want to?
He couldn’t take his eyes off of the orb, but…
It looked like a golf ball. Maybe he could hit it away. Maybe he could hit her away.
He didn’t take his eyes off of it, but in a fit of frustration, he finally gave in and swung the staff at her hand as if he could just get rid of her magic.
