The concept was strange to her but all things considered, Rick was not a bad choice.
She looked over Rick's shoulder, spotting the most adorable sight. If she had her phone she would take a picture! Lexus was all curled up under Rick's chin, seemingly in a dead sleep while Rick looked just as peaceful as ever. Holi didn't want to disturb either but she was kind of curious about something. She took a peak under the covers and wished she hadn't, pretending that was not what she just did, turning over to stare at the door with a hefty about of tomato blush on her face.
Welp…..The thing about males and the morning was true…..Yyyyyyeeeeeppppppp no need to investment further.

The movements she made to turn over was enough to rouse Richard partially from his sleep. He breathed in deep and let it out slowly as awareness slowly filtered in. One hand came up to gently place on Lexus but beyond that he hadn’t moved or opened his eyes yet, content as he was to not jump into being awake like he would if his alarm went off.

Once she figured Rick wouldn't awaken, Holi decided to test some things. She leaned over, whispering in his ear, "Riiiiicccckķkkk Thiiiiisssss iiiiiisssss your consciousness…….You muuuuusssssttt awaaaaakkkkeeeee…..Or your girlfrieeennnddddd wiiiillllll eeeeeaaaaattttttt youuuuurrrrr souuuuullllll…." She tried not to giggle at that last bit, ghosting her fingers along his side. One way or another, she was having fun.

While his sleepy brain was amused as the words filtered in and he gave a small huff that almost sounded like a sleepy chuckle. He was absolutely about to mutter something about starseeds back in his sleep rough voice but then the fingers on his side happened. A few things happened all at once; one, he flinched hard, two, there was a giggle, and three, his hand left Lexus to slap away the offending hand while his eyes snapped open.

Holi did not miss that giggle and decided to gently extract Lexus, placing her somewhere safe before launching herself onto the bed to begin her assault. "AH HA!" She proceeded to tickle the bigger man mercilessly, straddling him now as she worked. "Tsk Tsk Rick! You have given me the ULTIMATE POWER! Ahahahaha!"

At least she had moved Lexus before she had pounced. Richard couldn’t react fast enough to stop the assault and could only squirm under her while trying to push her away and laugh. “No-HAHAHA, it’s too-HAHAHAHAHA, early for this!!” He tried to get out as he attempted to escape this gremlin, though even now he still tried to be gentle enough to not hurt her if he did manage to get her away.

Holi followed him as he moved, slowing down her assault to give him a quick kiss on the lips, "Well good morning starshine, the sun says hello~" she giggled and sat back, "You looked to peaceful sleeping, clearly I had to do something~" she gave him an innocent mischievous smile, tilting her head. She would have to do something about her hair since it was…..Everywhere. When did it come out of the ponytail she had it in?

When the assault finally stopped, Richard flopped down and fought to get his breathing back under control. He did manage to kiss her back when she gave him a quick one though. “I would say it’s a pleasant morning seeing your face this early but then again you did just attack me, so I guess that evens it out to average.” His tone and expression were clearly teasing as he said this and he pushed his bangs to the side as they had fallen in his eyes when he flopped down.

Holi grinned, leaning in to kiss the side of his lips, “Average hmmmmm? Should I fix that?” She was feeling playful but not sure how to progress further. She was new to this after all.

Richard gave a grin back. “Well you can certainly try to fix that, I wouldn’t stop you.” He tilted to give her a proper kiss on the lips but kept it gentle. Of course that was when Lexus demanded morning cuddles and wiggled her way between them.

Holi smiled into the kiss, about to tangle her fingers into Richard's hair when she felt a little cute noodle wiggle her way between them. She pulled away with a laugh, giving th3 little ferret all the belly and back rubs. "Maybe next time~" she picked up the ferret, cuddling her to her chest. "Whhyyy must you be so cute?!" She gave her new furry friend all the kisses, maneuvering herself off of Rick and out of the bed, "Are you hungry? I am hungry. You should tell your dad to feed us." She turned to face Rick, hiding behind Lex. "Feedd uses hooman….." she giggled.

Richard’s grin got wider as Holi gave love to Lexus and he couldn’t help but laugh at what she was saying. “Alright, alright. I’ll get breakfast ready.” He then rolled out of bed and strolled through the bedroom door, not even bothering to get dressed just yet. Lexus squirmed around excitedly in Holi’s hands, clearly wanting to follow after Rick.

Holi let the little ferret down, trying not to look at Rick's backside while he walked to the kitchen. She stared at the t-shirt she was in and shrugged, deciding that this would be her attire till she went home tonight. Following the pair, she practically zoomed for the TV. She hopped Rick had internet, because she could watch YouTube and catch up on game theory.

The first thing Richard did once he was in the kitchen was check Lexus’ food bowl and topped it off for her. Then he checked a calendar that was hanging up near it and with a hum, pulled out a raw meaty bone to place down on a plate next to said bowl. That done he cleaned his hands and started to make breakfast for Holi and himself. “Any dietary needs or issues?” He asked as he pulled out different pans.

"Ummmmn….Other than the fact I need to lose weight? Nope." Holi poked at her belly, pinching the slight pudge on her stomach. Eh, she wasn't too worried. Connecting her phone she pulled up YouTube and started watching gametheory, remembering that she had to finish her playthrough of FNAF security breach.

“Alright. Well if you remember something down the line feel free to skip it.” Richard said as he got to work making an egg and sausage scramble with a side of toast. He started to hum a bit as he checked the little honey bear that had been repurposed to holding a cinnamon sugar mix and finding it still with a good amount, set that to the side along with some butter for the toast. Lexus meanwhile had munched a bit on the food only to ignore it for the bone a moment later, something he had been expecting.

As much as she tried to ignore it, the smell of breakfast was all too tantalizing. Holi paused her video, getting up from the couch to make her way over to the kitchen. She peered around the mass that was Rick, sniffing delicately. "Who taught you how to cook?" Everything smelled so divine, she had to keep from drooling.

He paused for a moment when she came over to stand by him, giving her a quick kiss. “My Uncle taught me. Said every person no matter the gender needed to know how to cook at least a few meals.” He said with a shrug. “He wasn’t wrong of course.”

Rick's uncle is a wise man.
"My foster mom taught me how to cook~ I'm also a fan of looking up new recipes to try." She tossed some hair behind her shoulder, "Can I help?"

“Sure, how about you get out some drinks for us and set the table? I think everything here is pretty much done.” He said with a smile as he started to pull the pan with the scramble off the burner. It wouldn’t take them long to get things finished off and ready to eat.
