Nin 1
It had been a little while since Terrwyn's crazy cart right across some really rough wilderness and Nin thought that now might be a good time to get to know her.
She had some tea ready, just in case Terr wanted some. She wasn't even sure if her impromptu daughter in law liked tea, but it was worth a shot.
Thallassa had perhaps done something quite rash in not telling his family but they would welcome the leaf woman with open arms.

Terrwyn yawned, her fatigue a side effect of having triplet sons, and while covering her mouth with her hand she tried to keep her eyes open. Sleep was something she missed.
Her bright green eyes found Thal's mother as she lowered her hand. The leafing bowed her head to her with a tired smile. Terr still didn't talk much to most people but she tried to seem grateful to everyone around in case they got the wrong idea. "Hello." She kept it simple since there was not much else to say at the moment.

Nin 2
She could see that the poor girl was so tired. "Sorry to bug you dear, but I well, I brought you some tea, in the hopes that it might warm you up a little. You are doing such a great job with the kids after such an awful trip."
Nin admired her greatly for her strength, and also for how Thal looked at her. She might not be an easy book to read exactly but her son wouldn't fall in love that fast with just anyone, there must be something in this girl that was good, even great.
She offered the tea cup.

So far she didn't think that Thal's family was at all a bother, though they certainly had energy. She was used to large families so the antics didn't seem to phase her all that much. With a smile she reached out to take the cup. "Thank you. Was just thinkin' about gettin' somethin'." Her three boys took a lot out of her. Though she seemed to be lucky in that they all seemed to keep to the same schedule. Almost as if they timed it that way. "Was the trip awful? Don't remember much of it." Terrwyn had spent the majority of the trip to Matori asleep or tending to the babies. Of course she still needed to yell at Thal for being the cause of triplets. Had it only been one baby like she'd thought then she might not have been so exhausted.

"I can't imagine that is was all that comfortable." If there was one thing she was familar with, it was giving birth. She had certainly done it a few times and she had also started out with triplets. It was funny how stuff worked out like that. Kynin in particular had been a hard birth, as had the twins, despite them being a tad smaller. SHe sipped her own tea. "For what it is worth, welcome to the family." She didn't care about the past, except for the fact that Terr was now out of it and safe with her new family. Now if the past came knocking at the door that would be another situation all together.

She stopped to think about it. From what little she did remember she had been in some pain when she tried to move too much but mostly she'd been tired. Of course Terrwyn had felt anxious the whole time when she was awake because she worried about her sons. "Wasn't comfortable." She finally agreed. At the welcome she received she blinked a bit with surprise. Terrwyn hadn't been expecting that. It took her a moment longer before she bowed her head slightly in thanks. "Uh.. thanks. Again." She felt a bit awkward at the moment. She wasn't entirely sure who this woman was. Terr hadn't gotten to meet Thal's family before so she didn't know which member she was currently speaking to.

Nin saw the confusion in her eyes. "I am Ninaeleth, Thallassa's Mother." Families, especially mixed ones, could be quite confusing. "Sorry, I had assumed that Thal had gotten to speak to you a little bit more and perhaps warn you about the giant hoard that is our family. I blame my impossibly handsome husband." She smiled. Thal it seemed had gotten much of Kiyelt's more innocent charisma. Kiyelt was old enough to handle himself but he exposed that part of him to her sometimes and she saw it strongly in her eldest son.

She had been told of the large family just not the names. So she was stuck trying to figure out who was who essentially. As the woman offered up and name and her relation to Thal she understood a bit more of who she was speaking with. "Hello. 'M Terrwyn. Mother of Thallassa's children." As far as she knew she was the only one so she didn't think she needed to specify she was the mother of the triplets. Since she and Thal hadn't really gotten to speak much on the way to Matori she wasn't quite sure what she was to him beyond that. It was a conversation they really needed to have. Especially considering they had gotten more than they'd bargained for when she ended up delivering triplets. "He did mention how big his family was. 'M used to it." Since her own family was large she didn't mind.

"You come from a big family too I take it? Is there any precautions we could be taking to secure you further? I know Kiyelt lets the Janarim and Snaptrotters patrol at night time on the ranch grounds, they are well trained. Do you suspect your husband might come for you? Or your family? Viltre of course is welcome anytime." She just wanted to make sure they were doing as much as they could for the woman who risked everything to be free. In a similar situation Nin would have done the same. She was grateful that the babies had been Thallassa's and not Carlos's (Finnley).

At the question of her coming from a large family she nodded her head. Terrwyn wasn't sure how to explain her complicated family so she left it at that. The questions of how to secure her made her give a confused look before she turned her head to look around, as if she'd lost something. "Kise.." He was her guard since she was seven so surely he was somewhere around, right? She blinked her green eyes a few times before she figured she could just as Thal later. He knew her guard well enough. With the possibility of her husband coming for her she paused. If Viltre had any say in the matter she didn't think Finnley would get very far. So she wasn't worried about that. Her own family on the other hand? A tilt of her head was made. "Don't think so.." If Viltre didn't tell them where she was then she was fairly safe.

"Okay, I just wanted to be sure. It is a large ranch and anyone who wasn't a beast tamer would be a fool to try and breach it and that is not including the not un scary family we have." She smiled, her small empire was all strong family oriented people. Even Honi could crack pottery over someones head. Though the others usually ensured that she never had to. Kiyelt was starting to slow down in his old age and she mildly missed the abs he used to have, they were burried under a thinnish layer of her cooking now which was a compliment in and of itself. "If you need anything just let anyone know..also if Kynin bites you once..thats how he welcomes people to the family, if he tries to again, bite him back hard and all will be well." She was still working on that.

The description of non-scary family made her give a confused tilts of her head. Just what exactly did Thal's mother consider scary? From the looks of her Nin was a very nice woman. Terrwyn did wonder which one was Kynin and just why he liked to bite. "Do I have to bite him?" If that was a requirement then it would be very weird. Not to mention she was slightly concerned if that was how he welcomed people. "Will he bite the babies?" That she'd have to threaten him for. Thal likely wouldn't like her threatening his brother.

"I'm sure he wouldn't bite the babies. But you should bite him back if you don't he might just keep doing it. Or maybe if you threaten him with the bow, that might work if you don't want to bite back. I'm still working on that behaviour it has somewhat improved as he mostly bites Gajeel his friend now." She sipped her tea. She had a choice, run the ranch or retrain one son. Usually the ranch won.

She listened to the woman in front of her with a fair bit of consideration. So if Kynin was not bitten back or at the very least threatened then he would continue. Terrwyn would make it a point to speak to Thal about making sure his brother didn't bite the babies. If she found a bite mark on them then she was going to have to have a very uncomfortable conversation with Kynin. So she nodded her head. "I'll remember that." No matter how odd it was it was still good information to have. "Are there rules I need to know?" At her own home there were rules for expected behavior. She had always just assumed it was the same everywhere.

"Nothing beyond don't get in the pen of a beast you don't know yet, we get some real wild ones in when the boys come back from gathering from the bush. We are pretty relaxed here, hunt when you want, fish when you want, if there is a beast you want that is not claimed we can arrange for training and sale, but honestly you will probably be given whichever you want for the most part, we have so many come through its really not an issue." "If you do end up training a critter just be sure to update their file with any knew quirks you find, the more knowledge the better. In spring the birthing barn would be offlimits for the little boys until they can keep properly quiet or have one of us as an escort. " "Pay attention to the boundaries of the sea pens as some of the snaptrotters might try to 'play/eat' while still in training, they like dunking people and it can be quite upsetting and or dangerous depending on the beast... best to take Myr with you if you do swim anyway he is well trained and very dominant and he adores you so I hear."
