Pharos stood with Neckar in the park taking a break from there patrol for the evening. She figured it they could probably start moving towards the outskirts now. She could feel other order aligned signatures around and hadn't felt much chaos tonight, nor had they run into anyone.
"Its been quiet for us tonight, not even a youma. A good thing of course, no one wants to fight a wicked beastie, but ..."
Neckar picked up where Pharos left her sentence hanging in mid air. "Its giving the air of too quiet and that never a good thing." He paused thinking about it and realizing it was too quiet ... it was still early, but they had scarcely seen anyone."
"I think we she spread out for a bit and see what's up. Don't go so far the other can't feel you, but we will cover more ground that way and we are still available for trouble."
Pharos nodded, taking her staff up and heading off expecting Neckar to go the opposite direction. "Meet you in the middle, in say an hour. If we find nothing we call it a night, yes?"
Neckar nodded and headed off opposite Pharos to make sure the quiet was just a coincidence.

She had been hoping for a relatively quiet night. A night of settling back into the city, relearning the hot spots and clubs. Was the local dive bar still open or was it changed into a hipster hangout spot? A surprising amount had indeed changed, but not everything. Like the fact that senshi were still dressed in gaudy and bright outfits. This made them painfully easy to spot, like that guy with hot pink shorts that she spotted from her spot from the shadows. As a civilian she was someone to ignore. Someone to overlook, this normally would drive her to rage, but in this case she used her anonymity to remain out of view until she found her prey. Unfortunately for the senshi… he was her target.
After he approached, and passed her hiding spot, she knew it was time. Between one second and the next the civilian in the deep shadows exited as a Lieutenant. She could feel others around so she would have to be quick. Using that speed she was granted by being a fighter of the negaverse Strengite attempted to attack. Approaching at a sprint she swung her weapon at his head with as much force as she could physically muster. The flyswatter couldn’t do much normally but even the plastic end would hurt like hell with enough force behind it. Strengite was counting on it. The confusion and pain should be enough to give her the time she needed to incapacitate the senshi.
Neckar honestly knew he should expect anything but getting smacked in the head with a fly swatter wasn't what he was expecting at all. He stumbled away from his offender and frowned deeply.
"Hey, seriously," he said throwing his hands up to guard.
He quickly back away and decided to use his magic to try to redirect the woman his attacker in general.
"Proteal Replica," he said watching the flower bloom and disappear. He grinned hoping his magic worked to his advantage. "That was really not okay, was that even necessary?"
Sailor Scout Attack: Proteal Replica
Neckar touches his brooch and calls out his attack, it glows brightly for a moment, a glowing flower blooms out of it before disappearing and then anyone who looks at him within a 10ft radius of Neckar sees a replica of themselves only it will appear as how they envision the perfect version of themselves for whatever form they are in. Along with the illusion Neckar gains a small boost in strength. If his opponent is at a higher level than him, it cannot make him stronger than his opponent. The attack last for 30 secs and other than being downright freaky doesn't do anything else. Can be used twice per battle.

The stumble wasn’t nearly enough for Strengite. She needed to take him down and incapacitate him somehow. Damn flyswatter!
The lieutenant was ready to surged forward, ready to strike out with her fist this time, when the senshi called out his magical attack. She had seen what kind of magic they could do, she knew the kind of damage their skills could cause, so it wasn’t terribly abnormal for her to rapidly change direction. Putting space between herself and the senshi as a glowing flower appeared and faded away. A pale brow rose when a figure seemed to manifest, a familiar figure. Herself… but not quite.
It was definitely Strengite but this officer had lots more bling on her, the uniform was different too… She looked like a proper general! The lieutenant also happened to spot a much more lethal weapon than her poor excuse for a weapon. The outfit and weapon wasn't the only change, just the main ones. The rest were just things like the hair being a little less frizzy and the breasts a bit perkier… skin smoother and more fresh looking. A Strengite that was more polished and fantastic looking, and a ******** ton more powerful.
She wanted it. She wanted it quite badly. And she would have it. It just took hard work… and a few deaths. Nothing she hadn’t done before. “Oh there was just a pest,” Strengite kept her other self in view as she sashayed towards the senshi, there was always the possibility that the vision wasn’t just a vision but an actual thing that could hurt her. “It didn’t hurt, did it?” He had to be physically stronger than her, but she was meaner. And wilier.
“Sorry about that.” She smiled and shrugged. “Anything I can do to make up for it? Want me to kiss it to make it feel better?” Since taking him down in the first swing didn’t work, what about changing tactics. Strengite honestly just needed to get close to him. She just needed to touch him, drain him… yank the starseed.
Neckar noticed when the effect took place, with the woman's change in expression and her sudden change in attitude. Still he didn't trust her so, didn't know what she was seeing, still didn't fully know what his magic did. He resolved to get the information out of Pharos later.
He knew it was an illusion, but didn't know the extent of it. He circled with she moved forward, putting on a show, giving her a look of contempt's, as if to say what she was seeing would never. He rolled his eyes, unsure of how long this would last and decided his best course of action might be to go on the attack.
He rushed at the woman, fists raised, saying a silent apology in his head, as his mother would be appalled at the thought of him hitting a woman. Still he swung aiming for the woman's kidding hoping to take her down in one go.
Pharos had gone off until she could just barely feel Neckar, so when the chaos aura blipped on the scene she didnt feel it at first. She continue on Neckar just in her radar, before realizing that something was off. She paused for a moment before she felt it, because she was focusing. Just barely there as Neckar was, a chaos aura. Pharos frowned turning and heading back to her friend.

Awww the poor guy didn’t like her attempt at being friendly. That was ok, since fighting was a bit easier this time anyway. If she wanted to be nice she really should have started out that way. Ah well. Next time for sure.
Strengite didn’t worry too much about her second self, it was really just the thing she was aiming for so it wasn’t too big of a deal. One could say it just made her that much more determined to take the senshi down and enjoy the spoils of being an officer, namely a starseed. First, immobilization. Something the senshi seemed to want to help with.
She happily allowed the bright boy to head towards her, she saw the incoming punch and with a slight twist Strengite took the hit to her hip, her hand reaching out to wrap around his wrist. It hurt like ********… a lot worse then the ‘punch’ Beni landed a few days ago. But just like that ‘fight’ with Beni it meant the Senshi was close. Real close. The punch had pushed her away but with her grip she was able to stay close to him so with a smile that was more a grimace the lieutenant did her best to focus on drawing out any energy she could while trying to pull the senshi closer. “Let's dance, shall we?”
How much was it going to take before he was wobbly enough? She really was out of practice with the whole officer thing… It used to be easier.
Neckar was glad his managed to land the hit easily enough, but realized the small woman, was much tougher than she looked, but he supposed that was par for the course. Even tiny Pharos was pretty strong, despite her stature.
He frowned when she grabbed onto him about to jerk away, but realized if she wasn't going to fight him, being this close was probably to his advantage.
"Wrong move," he said taking his free hand and driving it into her stomach. There wasn't much space for her to move quickly holding on to him as she was. "We can dance I suppose ... I don't think you'll enjoy it."
Pharos felt a little panicked because the closer she got she could feel that Neckar and the chaos aura were close to one another and while she thought Neckar could hold his own in a fist fight, the negaverse had quite a few tricks up their sleeves and there was no telling where senshi magic was concerned.
She was sprinting at this point, hoping that her friend wasn't in serious danger. She didn't think, because the aura didn't feel strong, but that didn't mean they chaos person couldn't and wouldn't kill Neckar. "Hang on Neckar, I'm coming."

The gut punch drove the wind from Strengite, it still wasn’t as bad as Beni’s punch though. She had gotten a lot worse from training. Hell she had gotten a lot worse from a bad move dancing! And still she held on. She was getting some energy, just not nearly enough to pretty much tranquilize him, but honestly… that might not be needed right then. His chest was so delectably close. Touchably close. He was cute. It was a shame.
Ah well, c’est la vie.
Strengite looked up at him from her hunched over position, her grip on his arm tightening. “Ha, darling you have no idea what I’ll enjoy.” Her voice was breathy and had an edge of pain to it but it carried so much smugness that it could be easy to miss the pain. She had him. He just didn’t know it yet, but he was about to find out. The hard way.
“Kid, do you know why you shouldn’t dance with strangers?” She asked, being facetious, just before she made one quick and precise move. It took a split second, a moment of resistance, and a ******** ton of concentration but determination could do wonders for concentration, but Streingite was able to slide her hand into the senshi’s chest. Her fingers wrapped around that little gemstone called a starseed. “This is why. Painful ain't it?” She could just yank the starseed out. She should just pull it. But it was ever so much fun teasing the senshi. Besides her hip and her stomach hurt, might as well make him feel a bit of pain as well.
Neckar's rolled his eyes at her windy breathy response going to pull away from her, but he was a little to late and had forgotten about the little trick the negaverse had up their sleeve.
His eyes widened looking at the hand slide into his chest and pain blossom through his being. "Aaaaaahh, whaaaatttt ... ********, get off."
He was in so much pain, imagining being operated on while awake might be akin to what he was feeling. He grabbed her arm on instinct squeezing with as much strenght as he hand. He hand one goal in mind because his life was on the line, break the fragile wrist that held his very essence in its hand.
"Let go," he ground out applying more and more pressure, knowing eventually the bone would snap.
He had to hang on, he could feel Pharos drawing near not that he would let the devil woman in front of him know that."
Pharos was almost there, she could feel them, she was almost on top of them as she jump down from the round top and started booking it toward her friend. she was still a bit to far to see him, but she was certain the chaos signature was with her friend and her gut said that he was in trouble. She had to get there, had to get there before it was too late.

It hurt. It ******** hurt! Strengite gritted her teeth as the senshi gripped her wrist and started to squeeze. It felt like her bones were rubbing against each other. The senshi was trying to pulverize her arm. It HURT damn it! She wanted him to let go but she also didn't want to release her prize. She took her free hand and grabbed the wrist that the senshi was using to try to squeeze her wrist into oblivion. It didn’t take much to dig her thumbnail into the space between the two arm bones, pressing as hard as she could with the angle she was in on the nerves and more importantly the vein that ran through that small space. It likely didn’t hurt nearly as bad as her wrist but with luck it would be enough to keep him from squishing her arm like he was trying to squeeze out the last of the toothpaste from the tube.
In order to keep the seed, and her wrist, Strengite did the only thing she could think of. She wasn’t even sure it would work! She pushed. Normally one just pulled the starseed out but with his grip on her Strengite didn’t think that would work so she went further in, her grip on the seed not letting up, until she felt the senshi sag against her as his seed separated from his body. “Ugh!” He was heavy! Strengite had to let the seed go, it fell to the ground bouncing off the body, as she quickly removed her arm from the now stilled figure, his dead weight making moving harder and harder as she ended up pinned under him. “Damn! How heavy is he?” She grumbled as she wiggled and squirmed, pushing as best she could, to get him off of her.
A feat she completed right when rapid movement out of the corner of her eye had Strengite look up. A curse slipped out of her as she spotted a knight rapidly, and she did mean rapidly, approaching. A stronger fighter if the aura that the lieutenant was finally noticing was right, and she had a staff in her hand too. Damn it! Where was the starseed? Where was it? She wanted to get out of there like yesterday!
There! She dove for it. Scooping it up off the ground and was turning to leave as fast as her heels would let her when her luck ran out.
Neckar could ignore the pain she inflicted with her nails his grip remaining firm as he was fighting the pain to keep from passing out. He hadn't expecting her to push her hand and whole arms further into his body pretty much ripping her hand from his grip. His eyes widen in panic before he felt something very weird and then he lost conciousness, his body going limp and tumbling forward, a dead weight ... a vegetable without his starseed.
Pharos made it just in time to see her best friend collapse and she already knew what the woman had done. Pharos didnt get mad often, ever really, but to see her best friend so carelessly tossed to the side, she saw red.
She ran after the woman her staff tight and her grips and jumped swinging her staff hard, intending to knock the woman clean off her feet. "Give me back my friends starseed! How dare you!!"
Pharos wasnt going to let her best friend die on her watching and she regretted having split up from him. She had to focus now, though, she had to save Neckar.

Strengite couldn’t have gotten more then a few steps from the prone body of the senshi when the rabid knight reached her and took a swing with her weapon. Something the negaverse officer learned when she first started was that distance was everything and right then the knight had it. She also had anger and strength assisting the distance. Strengite was screwed.
The lieutenant tried to get out of the way but the staff connected solidly with her side. She felt something snap even as pain, soooooo much worse then when the senshi tried to break her wrist, bloomed in her chest. Her body was tossed some distance away, where she came to an abrupt stop against the brick siding of a building, her head thwacking against the stonework with an audible sound. At some point during her unplanned flight Strengite lost the grip she had on the starseed, it had dropped to the ground and bounced away, not that the lieutenant cared at that moment. As much as she wanted that prize it wasn’t worth the price. She was much more concerned with whether she could get away or not. Besides she had already pocketed the minute amount of energy that she had gotten from the senshi earlier.
Pharos hadn't meant to hit the girl that hard and so watching her go tumbling and hit the brick side of a building. It stopped her in her tracks, gasping and covering her mouth as she backs away. She was stunned for a moment before she saw her best friends starseed and gathered it up. She wasn't worried about the negaverser, but did watching for a moment to make sure she was breathing before hurrying over to Neckar.
She gently rolled her giant friend over, placing his head in her lap and with tears in her eyes she carefully gave him back his starseed. "Neckar, come on wake up .... come on Pan, be okay."
She had tears running down her face, hand on her friends cheeks praying to the heavens, Comos, Chronos, her wonder for her friend to wake up.
Neckar groaned or he thought he did frowning as a warm drop of water splashed on his face. Another splash and then another before he opened his eyes to the sight of an upside down Pharos crying with her eyes closed.
He reached and flicked her nose, "I'm okay Tink, dont cry."
Pharos startled slightly before laughing and hugging her friend, "idiot ... dont ever do that again."
Neckar laughed and groaned, but nodded, "yeah okay, help me up ... lets get out here before crazy shows back up."
Pharos blushed and laughed nervously, "I don't think she will be messing with us again tonight ... I uh ... hit her harder than I intended. She was breathing ... but uh, she looked down for the count."
She helped her friend up as quickly as she could thought and held on tight as they made their way out of their.

FIN
Strengite struggled to breath, hell she struggled to see straight, but she could still move and move she did. She wasn’t waiting around to see if that rabid knight was going to take that staff to her head next, she was going to get out of there. Using the wall as a support the lieutenant got to her feet as fast as she could, aware that the knight was trying to help the senshi. All of the universe would freeze over before Strengite wanted to deal with them both so rather than wait to see what was going to happen the negaverse officer got out of there as fast as she could.
Blood a** knights and their damn weapons… If only she hadn’t shown up!
