Hobbies:True Crime: Gilbert will listen or read or watch just about anything to do with true crime. He’s been fascinated with death since he was a small child, and he enjoys learning about all of humanity’s depravity in the way people are murdered and the reasoning behind it all.
Mosaics: Gilbert loves making mosaics out of broken glass. You wouldn’t believe how many people just leave glass bottles disrespectfully all over the graveyard, so he takes them home, shatters them, and builds something beautiful out of them. He even rescues some of the prettier glass things from the recycling bins of other people to “paint” his pictures with.
Virtues:
Positive: Gilbert believes in finding the silver lining in everything. When all seems dark, he seeks to find the little bit of light there is and show it to everyone so they can all work towards growing that light. Every cup is half full.
Generous: Gilbert enjoys doing things for others. Whether that’s donating to their gofundme, buying their groceries if their card declines in front of him, or sending his friends gifts, seeing other people be happy is just one of the things that makes him the most happy. He loves being able to share what he has and help people through dark times.
Flaws:Naive: The flip side of his positivity and desire for good in the world is that he will see it where it really isn’t. He believes too hard in the good of the world, and will let himself be led down a path he shouldn’t go down all too easily. He doesn’t question things as much as he should.
Hedonistic: Gilbert is a bit too self indulgent, always thinking the world will work out just fine, he can totally spend this money on a new shiny thing that he wants but doesn’t necessarily need… Oops, now his bills went up. He likes the “buy stuff” part of self care and buys a lot of stuff he can’t really afford.
