Oia watched as the rainbow lights streaked the sky, they had gotten out of the rift and she had learned a little about what it meant to be a knight, not much but enough to know it was her turn now to protect the city. She was grateful that whatever source there was had granted her wish. She had fought before as a civilian and now she would have the chance to fight as a page of cosmos. She had things to do and she needed to find others of her kind so she could learn what it meant to be a page of the cosmos.
She wanted to honor her order and serve to the best of her ability. She was ready to fight and she was ready to practice as much as she needed to. This city was hers as much as it was anyone else. She wasn't planning to let it fall to darkness. She held her rabbit baton in her hand. She had been given a gift and she wasn't going to squander it. She looked up at the lights and smiled it was a sign in her personal opinion. The cosmos was welcoming her to their order.

He really was becoming a nocturnal sort of person, something he'd never really been before, but he just didn't like wandering the city looking like a normal person - because he wasn't. He didn't like hiding what he looked like...it felt like he was saying he was ashamed of his appearence and he wasn't. So he did prefer going out at night when he didn't need to hide so much, though it also meant he didn't do much other than patrol the city as a senshi. He didn't go out shopping much really, this world was very confusing and akward for him.
He found going out at night, powered up, was well worth it anyway. He kept running into senshi and knights and he was learning things from them, he was meeting those who might help him in the future. He also might be able to help them, if they needed it.
Wandering, as he did so often, the senshi of glaze ice could feel someone near by. He could, after some time, better identify a knight now and was sure this was a knight. Heading towards the aura he stopped not too far from the figure. "Knight." He wasn't the most polite person, rather stright to the point, but he didn't much care in all honesty. This one he'd seen before though...she was new and he knew it. A knight of cosmos. Had she ever even seen Cosmos herself? That was something he hadn't asked last time.

Oia hurried over to the figure she didn't really know about factions as of yet since she barely knew who she was at this point, and now she had a creature hot on her tail and she had a tall figure in front of her. "Hey, little help for a newbie?" She called out and then turned to attack the monster with her baton. What she wouldn't have given to have had a weapon when she was stuck riding on the back of a guy as they fought to get out of the rift. She wondered what the big monster was and why it seemed so sad.
Now was not the time to ponder all that though, since she had gotten out of the rift and was back in the city and now it was time to clean up the leftovers. So they didn't eat civilians, she still found it amazing that she was no longer among their number. She struck out with her baton and looked back at the strange figure. She knew nothing about him but sensed that he wasn't a civilian whatsoever so she figured he could help her with this problem. If not she would fight on her own. No matter her rank.

"Of course." Nodding his head once he moved closer towards the youma, he'd yet to see one since arriving in the city, but he knew it was something which must be dealt with. He'd heard of them, there were a lot of basic thigns he'd already learned since arriving on this planet- this was one of them.
He needed to be close for his own magic to work on the youma so he did just that- got closer. "Just hit it with your weapon. I'll handle the magic." Since he really wasn't sure if she had any magic, and she didn't seem very skilled. He remembered though...she was new to this whole tthing, to fighting especially.
"Ice over." Tapping his foot on the ground as he let his magic loose on the youma. "Best to take advantage of my magic and beat it." Since the youma wouldn't have much for balance, if any, and the cold might just add to the youmas problems.
Sailor Scout Attack: Ice over. Selinur will tap his foot gently on the ground, whilst calling out his attack, this attack can be used three times in battle and lasts 30 second each time. When he taps his foot on the ground it’ll cause the temperature to drop within a 5 foot radius of him. For the duration of his magic, it appears as though chilly rain is falling around him. Wherever the rain drops land will immediately solidify into a frozen glaze. He will be immune to the glaze but the ground beneath him and anyone or anything who comes into contact with the falling rain will be rapidly chilled by the layer of glaze that grows over them. The ground beneath him will rapidly become slippery, and any items near him will become too cold and slippery to pick up. The five foot radius of his magic moves with him, however the more he moves, the less rain coats an area and the less slippery it will be. When the magic ends, the glaze will immediately dissipate unless players want to have lasting damage.

Oia didn't question the guy as he iced the ground and she jumped over the icy spot and turned to beat at the monster till it dissolved into dust. She smiled "Thanks for the help." She said "You've been a big help Selinur." He was the first senshi she had met on terms other than a place that had at first seemed like a dream. Now she was living in a battle. She had collected some sort of crystal after the rift but she wasn't sure what it did just yet.

"Not a problem." Simple and right to the point, as he typically was. He didn't add more words, why waste time with that, and it made the same point. It really wasn't a problem, for him anyway, to help out.
He had gotten a kick, or two, in on the youma as well because it needed to be done. The thing was dusted, and he wasn't entierly sure if that meant it was dead or what. He did assume it was dead but he was also sure it might not be - nothing was for certain with magic and he knew that better than most. Magic could do a lot of things and defy normal laws of nature, as it had done on his own planet. He should have been died, died as well, but he'd been kept alive by his planets own waning magic. It was, as far as he was concerned, impossible to tell the youmas fate for certain but he did hope it was dead - as it should be. It would be one less agent of chaos in the world.
"Why are you out alone?" He questioned. She was new and clearly didn't know how to fight, even if she was a knight, and why was she out on her own - why were others allowing this? On his own planet there hadn't been an opion...he'd been the only senshi. But here there were options and she needed training, clearly, he'd spent his childhood training and learning. He was out on his own, now in this city, as a basic senshi because he knew how to fight and could hold his own.
"You need to partner with senshi or knights to go out with at night." For her own safety.

Oia considered what he said he might be right, but also he said something she didn't really want to hear. "What's your name?" She asked curious before she took off.

"Selinur." While he knew many here seemed to deem it polite, and proper, to give your sphere as well he didn't. He had been with nearly everyone but he was slowly, and rather predictably, becoming tired of introducing himself in such a long manner. It was annoying.
"And you are a lone baby knight." He stated, as if it weren't already obvious.

She couldn't argue with him on that, "Yea but I gotta learn one way or another." She nodded to him and turned to leave.
Posted: Wed Jul 06, 2022 7:50 pm
"Yes, but it is best to learn with others, to make sure you are safe." To keep her alive in case she dug herself in too deep without realizing it, in case someone far stronger turned up suddenly. It wasn't a smart idea of a l one knight who didn't know much to go out on their own.
"Find a team, find others who can go out with you. Take them every time you go out and have them take you each time they go out." The experience would help, it would also give her time to learn from them.

Oia frowned "Well why can't you be part of my team then? Why are you apart from everything, is there something wrong with you as a senshi?"
Posted: Wed Jul 06, 2022 8:46 pm
"Me? Apart of a team." An idea that he had not considered, and he figured it was for obvious reasons. One day he would leave here and return to his own planet, he didn't belong here. He would be here as long as was needed, to help his own planet and help here, but he had never worked with a team and he didn't wish to work with a group. It meant less freedom to come and go and work with whomever pleased him, whoever offered hi mthe most at any one time.
"I don't plan on joining a team. I do not belong here and am only here to help both myself and those here in winning this war. I am a solo senshi...I have been alone for a very long time." And his people were not the most social either, they never had been.

Oia nodded "Then why can't I be on my own, I won't be new forever and I'm sure there are a lot of knights who started out as pages and didn't have teams." She shrugged "I don't care that I don't have magic yet, I do have the magic that makes me more powerful than a civilian." She frowned "What do you mean that you don't belong here where are you from then?"
Posted: Thu Jul 07, 2022 1:23 pm
"Because, you are new. New senshi and knights should have teams, since it is possible here." It had not been possiblw when he'd been a child, or when he'd awakened as a senshi, but here it was. It would benefit her. He didn't need it here, even if he was just a senshi here, he had experience in other areas unlike this knight.
"Yes, but that is not enough. You do not know how to fight and have not faced an acual enemy who is out to kill you and has a weapon. You have not fought someone who does have magic." As he knew they had senshi who sided with them, were corrupted. This would be new for him as well but he was better equipped to handle it, he was certain of that. "What if a battle against an agent of chaos, one your own rank, calls for help. If you do not have help right there...they will end you. Do not think they will hesitate. You need support and someone to teach you - to train you." Not just in how to fight but in how to handle a battle...how to become cold towards it and to do what needed to be done.
"This is an oppertunity that most do not have and in the past senshi and knights did not always have. Take advantage of it."

Oia was annoyed and it showed a little on her face this guy was like a parent and she didn't do well with parents. He had a point even though she didn't like it. "Fine, I'll find a team happy?" She nodded "Thanks." Then she turned to leave this time for good since he had already pretty much-said goodbye to her.
