Whether it's friends or a stranger at the grocery she doesn't hesitate to get to know them. She loves meeting new people and developing relationships with them. There are very few people she wouldn't consider a friend. PROUD Try as she might to avoid it, Leah has always had a bit of an arrogant streak. She often thinks she knows what's best for people and has a hard time admitting she's wrong. She is well aware of her talents and assets and uses them where she deems fit. WITTY Leah is quite clever and can easily read others, a talent that she uses to her advantage in conversation and other social settings. She is always quick with a retort and has a sharp sense of humor. It's easy for her to make others laugh, especially when diffusing a situation. OPINIONATED Leah has very strong opinions on just about everything. She tries to avoid direct arguments about these subjects, but if she is given a chance she will go in excruciating detail about her views on the subject. She may change her opinion when presented with new information, but when she does, she does to quietly as to not let people know she was ever wrong. VIVACIOUS People are naturally drawn to Leah. EARLY CHILDHOOD Leah Evans was born in Berkshire, England to Laurence and Aureliè Evans. She grew up wanting for very little. They owned a large estate with plenty of land, gardens, and many many sheep. This did make her somewhat spoiled, though the birth of her younger sister Isla when she was four, did help to tame her somewhat. The two constantly switched from being best friends to bitter rivals, and everything in between. It made for a certain amount of excitement for her parents, but the four of them were all very happy.
The two attended a prestigious school, however, as Leah prepared for secondary school, their plans changed. On Leah’s eleventh birthday someone arrived at the estate. It was not very usual for the Evans to receive unannounced guests, especially, as Isla claimed, ones that popped in out of thin air. As the man arrived at the door he announced himself as a professor from Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry and explained that Leah was a witch.
At first, Laurence was extremely annoyed, assuming this to be some sort of elaborate prank, but the more the man talked, the more things began to make sense. Some strange incidences they hadn’t been able to explain throughout Leah’s life and certain behaviors. The man’s small displays of magic also helped to convince the family.
After that, she began to fill up on all the information she could about the wizarding world, eager to learn every detail. It wasn’t long before they were headed to Diagon Alley to gather her supplies for the upcoming school year. When school began, she arrived at King’s Cross Station with her mind racing. As much as she’d tried to prepare, she really didn’t know what to expect. She was a ball of nerves the entire train ride, clinging to the cage of her newly purchased owl.
SCHOOL YEARS When she got off the train and saw Hogwarts, her fear turned to excitement. She was sorted into Hufflepuff and almost immediately began making friends.
Leah loved everything about Hogwarts and she found she had natural skills in many of her classes. She participated in a few clubs and eventually quidditch. She did everything she could to make the most of her time at school.
It was in her fourth year, upon joining the Dueling Club, Leah met Levi James. She had seen him around throughout her years of school, but they were in different houses and hadn’t really spoken before. Levi was different than all the boys she associated with at home and that drew her right to him.
She and Levi seemed like the obvious choice of a couple. They were both popular, good students, and even better, they liked each other. Near the end of their fifth year, the two began dating one another.
Neither of their parents was entirely thrilled at the prospect. Levi’s parents resented the fact that Leah was muggle-born and Leah’s parents didn’t love the prospect of her having a relationship outside of a certain class. This only made the two more set on being together.
The rest of their schooling went relatively smoothly. Levi had always been set on being a Hit Wizard so he spent plenty of time working and studying. But Leah didn’t have the slightest clue of what she wanted to do. It felt like every week a new option came up, but nothing really stuck. She took as many OWLs and NEWTs as she could handle, just in case.
POST-GRADUATION Upon graduating, Levi began training to be a Hit Wizard almost immediately. And Leah, still completely lost as to what she wanted to do, settled on being a Lobby Secretary at the Ministry of Magic.
At the age of nineteen, Levi and Leah married. Once again, her parents were not exactly thrilled but ultimately supported her. The couple moved to a flat in London and only weeks later learned that they were expecting a child. Leah quit her job a few months into the pregnancy and soon Noah was born. At the time, they couldn’t have been happier.
Not long after their daughter Charlotte was born, things began to change between them. Leah had realized she really did love the life she’d been born into. She attended parties, spent more time with her muggle family and friends, and realized just how much she had missed all of it.
Levi was wholly uninterested. He spent more and more time at the office. Leah tried her best to support him, but she was getting nothing in return. It became clear to her that no matter how hard she tried, he had no interest in trying to make things work. One night she tried to speak to him, to get him to tell her what was wrong, but he became defensive and shut down. Leah couldn’t deal with it any longer. She argued with him, even screamed at him. Then she took off her wedding ring and threw it at him. Without another word, she headed to her parents’.
Her marriage was over and two months after the divorce was finalized, Levi was engaged to a woman from work.
She felt just about everything feeling she could, but in time, things fell into a routine and she began to feel normal again. Once the kids were in Primary School she found more time to get out. She even took a job substituting the Charms or Care of Magical Creatures classes at Hogwarts a hand full of times.
She also found herself spending time with her cousin Finley and his wife Katie. They were always going out of their way to invite her on outings. She didn’t question it until she met Finley’s best friend, Matthew Braybrooke.
Leah couldn’t stand him.
He seemed arrogant, far too stuffy, and rarely gave any indication he was happy. Yet, he was always there, to the utter annoyance of them both. After a while, they began verbal sparring. Leah was completely floored to find that Matthew was not the least afraid to call her out when she did something he felt was beneath her. No one in her entire life had ever had the courage to do that. He became one of the few people who could make her consider other points of view. Soon Leah began to actually enjoy spending time with him.
However, it wasn’t until she first saw him truly smile that realized she had fallen in love. It had been a few weeks since they had seen one another, but they had both come to Finley and Kate’s home to see the couple’s new baby. His face lit up as he played with the child and Leah was suddenly overcome with feelings for him that she had been trying to hide from even herself.
After that, the two saw each other most every day. They realized they could talk for hours about almost anything. One day, at the end of a polo match, that Matthew and Finley had played in, Matthew asked her to join him at a pub that night for drinks.
That night more or less settled it. She knew she wanted to be with him and she was fairly certain he felt the same. Leah soon introduced him to her children and all three hit it off.
It was at this point, she started to remember that she was a witch. Leah had never had actually to reveal this to someone. Her family all knew and it had turned out Katie and Finley had known about the wizarding world as long as she had. Matthew was quite obviously a different story.
She had planned an elaborate explanation and ways to help him ease into it. She didn’t make it that far. They came to Leah’s home after a date one night only for her to realize she’d left the dishes washing themselves. She then had to very quickly and very awkwardly explain to him that her house was not haunted, but that she, in fact, was a witch.
He ended up taking it rather well all things considered. He asked her almost constant questions over the next few weeks but eventually came to accept it as if he’d always known.
Two months later, Matthew proposed and the two were married in a small ceremony at Leah’s parents’ parish. They moved to a home in Cambridgeshire with Noah and Charlotte. Matthew’s ex-wife had never wanted children, but he always had, and Leah had wanted more for some time. So the two conceived and their first child, Amelia, was born the day before their first anniversary.
A few months later, Leah was able to return to working. She got a job at the Ministry in Werewolf Support Services, which she quickly came to love, finally discovering her real passion.
Another two years later their second child, Clara was born and life went on. Noah turned eleven and headed off to Hogwarts with Charlotte following a few years later.
Eventually Noah started Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff, to no one’s surprise. Not long after, Charlotte followed. Around that same time, Leah was promoted to the Head of Werewolf Support Services and she couldn’t have been happier.
Amelia went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff. Charlotte was also made prefect, which Leah was very proud of. At the end of the school year came something Leah was not emotionally ready for. Noah graduated. She had a real adult child. Now Clara is starting Hogwarts and Leah isn't quite sure if she's ready for that.

LIKES ■ Reading ■ Teaching ■ Polo ■ Star Wars ■ Tea and Digestives ■ Being a father
EARLY CHILDHOODMatthew was born in Wiltshire, the only child of Sophia and Clint Braybrooke. They were a wealthy family and owned a large estate. The first few years of Matthew’s childhood were very happy. He had everything he needed and was well provided for. However, Sophia was diagnosed with cancer when Matthew was little and was sick for several years. When Matthew was seven, she passed. His father did the best he could for him, but he found being the sole caretaker for his son difficult at times. Matthew was often taken care of by various staff and Clint’s mother, Lady Clara. Despite all of this, Clint and Matthew were still able to have a fairly close relationship.
SCHOOL YEARS When Matthew turned thirteen he went to Eton College. It was there that he met Finley Haddington. The two, rather to everyone’s surprise, hit it off. Matthew was rather reserved, but Finley made sure that he came out of his shell when he deemed it necessary. Matthew often seemed annoyed at this fact, but he never complained. Finley was one of Matthew’s very few friends and really the only friend he retained throughout his life.
After graduating from Eton, Matthew went on to attend Cambridge where he studied history. He became roommates with Finley and another student, Leo Delancy. Matthew spent almost all his time studying and occasionally participating in the Polo Club. However, he made time for regular visits with his roommates to a nearby cafe where he met Lara Corrigan.
She was a waitress who served the group most every time they came. Matthew was quickly enamored with her, but being too shy to do anything about it assumed that nothing would ever come of it. Until that is, Lara left her number on his receipt. Not long after the two started dating.
Through his years of schooling, he became a teaching assistant and made the choice to go into education. His ultimate goal was to become a history professor. Lara also began to attend Cambridge studying Art with tuition assistance from Matthew.
Just before Matthew’s graduation, he proposed to Lara who happily accepted.
POST-GRADUATION Matthew graduated with his Master’s Degree and a few months later he and Lara were married. Matthew worked at a primary school for a few years. He eventually returned to university to receive his Doctorate. Lara had dropped out of school and mostly ended up doing whatever struck her fancy at any given time. This usually included spending their money.
At last, Matthew officially graduated and become a professor of history at Cambridge just a few months later. He loved every minute of teaching and things soon began to fall into a routine for the couple.
After nearly eight years of marriage, Matthew went to lecture at a conference in Berlin. He was meant to be gone ten days but had decided to return to England early to surprise Lara for their anniversary. However, upon returning he found the house empty, only to find out that Lara had left to the Caribbean, with none other than his former friend Leo Delancy. It turned out Lara and Leo had been carrying on with each other for almost a year and had fully intended to continue doing so behind Matthew’s back.
Almost immediately Matthew filed for divorce and not long after everything was finalized. Matthew was upset but tried to go on as normal as possible. Most of his free time was spent, occasionally by force, with Finley and his wife Kate. Matthew was completely oblivious to the fact that the two had made it their mission to set him up, even once they began to bring around Leah Evans.
They were first introduced at a dinner party and soon after she began regularly appearing at their outings. The two did not initially hit it off, preferring instead to quibble with one another over just about anything that came up. Matthew could never quite pinpoint when their arguments turned from annoyance to something he looked forward to. He found Leah was one of the few people he could go toe to toe with that wouldn’t back down.
This went on until one night, after a polo match, Matthew invited Leah to a pub. They ended up talking most of the night and He admitted, somewhat embarrassed, that been heading there already for a "ghost hunt". It was a guilty pleasure of his, and to his surprise, she decided to stay and seemed to genuinely enjoy it.
Thereafter the two were almost inseparable, Matthew finding every reason he could to spend time with her, often including her two children, who he’d already fallen in love with.
It wasn’t long before marriage was on his mind, but he admittedly was nervous at the idea. He loved Leah more than anything, but getting married again was a big step.
One night the two were returning from a date, her children were at their father and he was more than happy to have some time alone with her. However, the first thing he caught sight of upon entering the house were dishes, in the air, cleaning themselves. Rather frantically, Leah explained that she was a witch, seeing no way to hide it any longer.
It seemed like such a far-out idea, but the more he thought about it, the more it made sense and not just about Leah. Things that he had brushed off that he now could almost certainly contribute to magic.
He realized if she revealed all of this to a “muggle” she must really trust him and that settled any debate. Soon he proposed and the two were married not long after. Matthew’s first wife had never wanted children, but he had so he was beyond excited to welcome Leah’s children and not long after the wedding Leah became pregnant with their first child, Amelia, followed by Clara two years later.
He still hasn't quite caught up with the idea that Clara is now eleven years old and Noah is an official adult.

xxxBACKSTORYxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
EARLY CHILDHOOD Noah was born to Leah and Levi James. What he remembers from the first few years of his life was mostly happy. He and his parents lived in a flat in London but he spent plenty of time out and about with his parents. Early on, he discovered a love for animals, both magical and non. On a trip to a park with his mother and baby sister, Charlotte, when he found an injured bird. He ended up bringing it home and nursing it back to health. Even at such a young age, it became his passion.
Because his father was a Hit Wizard, he was often gone for long hours. They were fairly close all things considered, but it soon became clear that there was more going on than either of his parents wanted to admit. They soon began talking less and less, or at least his father did. When his parents did speak, an argument was usually involved. They tried their best to shield it from him, but he knew them both well enough to understand what was going on. When his mother told him about their plans for divorce he was frankly relieved. Within hours Leah loaded up the children and headed for her parents’ home in the country. Noah loved it there. He could roam the countryside all-day and he and Charlotte even got a tutor before starting Primary School.
Dad had gotten remarried rather quickly after the divorce. His mum, though she seemed lonely sometimes was happier than she had been in a long time. Especially once she started spending time with Katie and Finley, and more than anything, their friend Matthew. When Leah brought Matthew to their house, Noah started to have suspicions. Good ones.
Noah immediately took a liking to Matthew. He seemed genuinely interested in anything that Noah had to say and took time to play with him and even got him some cool dinosaur toys. He also always had cool facts about history to tell him. There was the small issue of him being a muggle. Who didn’t know any of them were wizards. It was when Leah finally confessed that to Matthew, that Noah knew things were serious. Within weeks, Leah and Matthew were engaged. Noah couldn’t have been more thrilled.
They were married and in the following years brought him two more little sisters that he loved more than anything.
SCHOOL YEARS ■ FIRST YEAR Noah was sorted into Hufflepuff where he fell perfectly into place. Within the first week of school, with the help of Nora Dashwood who was the first person he spoke to, he founded the Creature Appreciation Club. Noah’s passion for magical creatures was fueled at Hogwarts where they seemed to roam everywhere, at least if you knew where to look.
■ SECOND YEAR In his second year he joined the quidditch team (mostly because the team was low on numbers and Nora knew he wouldn’t say no). He ended up loving it and doing fairly well, even though he was only a reserve.
■ THIRD YEAR Noah entered his third year, happily knowing he’d be starting electives. Care of Magical Creatures specifically. He of course excelled at the subject.
■ FOURTH YEAR In Noah’s fourth year his Uncle Jack took the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor. Noah was admittedly a touch wary but found he actually enjoyed being taught by a family member, even if he picked on him for a few too many demonstrations. On top of that, in the realm of quidditch, he became a first-string beater, which he also loved.
■ FIFTH YEAR Starting his fifth year Noah became the head of the Creature Appreciation Club, a role that he took to very happily though it wasn’t too different from what he had been doing.
■ SIXTH YEAR Noah had a fairly busy year, at least emotionally speaking. The family had come home from spending the summer in France and Noah was supposed to meet his father for a concert they had been planning on attending together. Levi, once again, decided not to show. However, without so much as a word, Matthew grabbed the car and went with Noah instead. Since his parents’ divorce, Noah had tried to be patient with his father, but he continually let him down. Matthew never had. Matthew was his father and he was going to make sure the world knew it. Noah decided that once he turned eighteen, he would legally change his surname from James to Braybrooke. Though he made the decision he decided not to tell anyone quite yet.
Returning to school brought a whole different slew of emotions. Namely, ones involving Everly Levy. He wasn’t sure exactly when it happened, he’d seen her around plenty for years, but one day their eyes met and it was just different. Just looking at her filled his heart with butterflies. He spent a good portion of the year pining over her. It wasn’t until near the end of the year that he managed to have a full, somewhat coherent conversation with her. He decided he’d make a point to try and see her over the summer holiday.
Upon returning home for the summer, Noah settled all the paperwork and submitted a legal name change—dropping the James and officially becoming a Braybrooke.
■ SEVENTH YEAR Noah's seventh year was his best yet all because of one person. Everly Robin Levy. On Halloween night, after months of pining, Noah finally got up the courage to ask Evie on a date. From that point on they were inseparable except perhaps during quidditch games where all bets were off.
Aside from that, he did well in classes and when exams came up he managed to more or less get the grades he wanted. Also the grades he needed to earn him a job at the Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures upon graduation.
POST-GRADUATION In the months following graduation from Hogwarts Noah began to work at the Minister of Magic in magizoology. He became part of the Dragon Research and Restraint Bureau, which he loves.

EARLY CHILDHOOD Charlotte was born in London to Leah and Levi James. She doesn’t remember much of her life before her parents' divorce. Most of her earliest memories are at her grandparent's home, with the occasional visit to her father and stepmother. For Charlotte, it seemed more or less normal since she didn’t know any other way.
Her magic manifested at an early age. On more than one occasion something broke when she was upset, but she was also able to make flowers grow when she was happy. Luckily her mother was able to cover up most of these displays when muggles were around.
When her mother started dating Matthew Braybrooke, Charlotte immediately latched onto him. He was always there to help her when she needed it and was far more responsive to her than her father ever was. Even still being so young, she was completely thrilled when Matthew and her mother were married, and she almost immediately started calling him dad. The four of them (Noah included) happily moved to a new home in Cambridgeshire and it wasn’t long until Charlotte got her lifelong wish; a baby sister, Amelia. After what seemed like an eternity to her, she got a second one, Clara.
SCHOOL YEARS ■ FIRST YEAR Charlotte arrived at Hogwarts, and to no one's surprise, was sorted into Hufflepuff. It seemed to be a family trend at this point. Charlotte joined the Creature Appreciation Club with her brother. She loved every bit of Hogwarts even if she missed her little sisters sometimes. She also somehow managed to get roped into playing on the quidditch team, luckily just as a reserve.
■ SECOND YEAR Charlotte started her second year with joining several new clubs. It was a good way for her to start making more friends. She stayed in her position as a reserve on the quidditch team.
■ THIRD YEAR Charlotte was eager to start her third, especially because it meant she could take electives. She quickly fell in love with many of her classes, especially Care of Magical Creatures. She also became Vice Captain of the Creature Appreciation Club after Nora’s graduation. She also took over for Nora as first string seeker to her equal parts excitement and chagrin.
■ FOURTH YEAR After spending the summer in France, Charlotte returned to Hogwarts refreshed and ready for another year. She kept herself busy with quidditch, she had a pretty decent season, and the clubs she was involved in. She was taking her time having fun before the responsibilities of her fifth year.
■ FIFTH YEAR For her fifth year, Charlotte became Hufflepuff prefect and she couldn't have been more proud. She was fully involved in her responsibilities and was happy to provide help to the younger students. She had a fairly decent quidditch season, but not enough to get Hufflepuff on top. If nothing else, she did pretty well on her OWLs.
■ SIXTH YEAR Charlotte had a pretty decent sixth year, though, unfortunately, still no real luck in the quidditch arena. They won a fair amount of games but not enough to clench the title. The rest of her time was mostly spent staying on top of classes and keeping her clubs running. Overall, she had no complaints.

PASSIONATEAmelia is passionate in just about every aspect of her life. She has opinions on just about everything and will very happily share those opinions. Good luck getting her to stop once you get her started on one of these opinions. If she loves something, she loves it with her whole heart. CREATIVE Amelia’s brain is constantly turning, coming up with new stories and ideas. Even something as small as a new smell can start a whole other world in her brain. These ideas come out in anything from a script to a painting. She loves to bring something new into existence and knows there are always a million different ways to look at the same thing. ANXIOUS Though she’s become a pro at hiding it when she needs it, it’s no secret that Amelia’s main response to many situations is anxiety. Oftentimes her brain will immediately jump to the worst-case scenario or hyperfixate on things she has no control over. Her experiences filter first through how things could possibly go wrong. AUTHENTIC With Amelia you’ll never have to wonder about where you stand. She’ll tell you. She doesn’t hide who she is or what she feels, nor does she feel a reason to. She’s very sincere and isn’t afraid to share her thoughts and feelings. She’s honest with other people and would never lie or manipulate another person. TRUSTWORTHYWhen Amelia says she’ll do something, she’ll follow through. She’s naturally a hard worker and if she has a task to do, she’ll happily complete it. She will also always stand by the people she loves, they can count on her for anything. The idea of betraying another person wouldn’t even cross her mind. INTROVERTED It’s not that Amelia hates socializing, in fact sometimes she really enjoys it, it’s just that it can be hard work. Oftentimes she prefers to be on her own or with a small group of people she’s most comfortable with. She’s not a fan of crowds (except maybe at comic conventions and certain theme parks) and usually finds somewhere off to the side to stay when she’s in large groups. EARLY CHILDHOOD Amelia was born to Leah and Matthew Braybrooke. She was Leah’s third child and Matthew’s first, however, she never thought of herself as being separate from her two older siblings. They both called Matthew Dad and only ever saw their father a handful of times a year. When she was two, Leah had another child, their baby sister Clara.
Even though her dad was a muggle she grew up around plenty of magic. In fact, Amelia herself began showing signs of magic before she was even two years old. Other than that she had a relatively normal childhood, as least by wizard standards. When she received her Hogwarts letter she was ecstatic though admittedly wary to leave home since she barely liked attending primary school in the village. She figures since her siblings are there too she’ll be just fine.
SCHOOL YEARS ■ FIRST YEAR Amelia was sorted into Hufflepuff, which she was incredibly thankful for. She enjoyed being close to her siblings, and the cozy common room was a big plus. She settled in well enough, even working with the quidditch announcers.
■ SECOND YEAR Amelia got a bit more out of her comfort zone her second year. She officially became one of the quidditch announcers and she found that it helped her become more confident and she actually loved to have an excuse to show-off a little. Though, she'd never call it showing-off to anyone else. No, announcing was about the players. Probably.

xxxPERSONALITYxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
FRIENDLY Even though she's a bit of an introvert, Clara always tries to be friendly to everyone she comes across. She will always give people the benefit of the doubt when meeting them and greets everyone with a smile. She wants everyone to feel included and noticed. PROTECTIVE One of the few ways to get on Clara's bad side is to hurt someone she cares about. She naturally looks out for others. She will always stand up for people she loves and will happily put herself in between them and whatever she deigns as "harm". Even though she's the youngest sibling, she considers herself their protector whenever she needs to be. WITTY Clara is quick with comebacks and sarcasm when the situation calls for it. She constantly thinks ahead and notices the small details of the world around her. Despite her young age, she seems to understand the world and will very happily make jokes about it. Her words can be a weapon. CONFIDENT Clara knows who she is and isn't afraid to show it to anyone. She has her own ways of doing things and believes in her own abilities. She's comfortable expressing exactly who she is. If anyone doesn't accept who she is, that's their problem, not her's. LOYAL Clara sticks to those she develops a relationship with. They can always depend on her and if a friend needs her, she will be there for them. She sticks by her friends and family will happily stand up for them. DEDICATED Once Clara starts on something, she sticks to it. She knows what she wants and she's willing to work hard to get it. She won't stop once she gets going.

xxxBACKSTORYxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
EARLY CHILDHOOD Clara was born May 14th, 2056, the youngest child of Matthew and Leah Braybrooke. She had what she considered to be a pretty normal life. At least for a half wizard/half muggle. She went to primary school in the village learning the basic muggle stuff, then was constantly surrounded by magic at home. Being part of both worlds gave her even more things to learn and experience everyday, but in the back of her mind she was always waiting for her eleventh birthday. When the owl arrived with her letter in tow, she was practically giddy. She counting down the days until she gets on the Hogwarts Express with Charlotte and Amelia. She just wishes Noah were coming too but he has to be a boring adult now. Even if he does get to work with dragons.
