The sound of wind blows throughout the arena with the moon appearing on the titan-tron before turning blue. The wording of 'The Eclipse Rises' would spell out with Lacuna Coil's Our Truth playing out. An older theme from the past making a return along with the fabled Eclipse, The Lotus Eclipse. Taking the stage with the feathered musketeer hat, the hall of famer would stand up and center with the sound of music filling his ears along with the hyped crowd excited for not just him but the tournament as a whole. He'd finally take his run into the ring with a quick slide and getting up to a knee with his eyes focused on the crowd before him. Up to his feet, Jay Blue Lightning stood with his vest remaining on that dawned his Eclipse name with blue petals trailing along underneath. Taking off the hat and sliding it off toward a turnbuckle post, he would take a pose as a Cross before performing the knight bow, two signature poses that would never leave him. Leaping back up to stand on both feet, he would make a run to the turnbuckle to leap up to the second ropes and scream out to the crowd, "We're back, baby! The Eclipse rises again!" before leaping off and pacing around the ring.

Time seemed to have halted as a monochrome effect came over the arena.The voices from the audience were replaced with silence. You make promise of protection
To a future after life
To the final resurrection
And to eternal paradise Mist filled the stage as a mirror was slowly raised onto the center of the stage. A dark apparition appeared in the mirror, reaching out towards the ring, the mirror halting it's progress. Taking a step closer, the apparition slowly pushed a gloved fist through the frame and then the hooded figure stepped through entirely. The apparition was the Specter himself, Mister Mirage! But then I'm blinded with temptation
And to every mortal sin
Is it God that sits there waiting?
Or will the darkness suck me inMister Mirage's coal black eyes stared down at the ring when he was finally free of the mirror. He turned slightly and shoved the mirror to the floor, shattering it immediately when it made contact with the stage. The monochrome effect faded out as soon as his glass prison was destroyed. Once again the masked man turned his attention towards the ring and began making his way to it. Intensity and discomfort could be felt from the audience as Mister Mirage made his way down the ramp. The hooded man paused as he stepped in front of the ring. He slowly raised his hands as sparks flew from his shock gauntlets. Mirage tilted his head as he lowered his hands and then rolled into the ring. "We are Mirage."

The Eclipse just watched in amusement to the entrance that came about. Not a bad one to say the least and very flashy. The Mirage had an impressive showing with it having sparks flying from them. Raising a hand up and wrapping it around his own wrist from his other hand, he would mimic the motion of 'unsheathing' a sword from its holster before extending it out toward Mirage. A simple show of good sportsmanship as Lightning cracked a grin.
"I'm the Moonlight Dancer, so shall we dance?"

The Specter tilted his masked visage to the side as Jay made the motion. Mirage extended his own gloved hand towards the Eclipse, electricity cracking as it was released through the gauntlet.

“…” he pauses at the sight and sound of the gauntlet. … yeah, that wouldn’t work. Withdrawing his hand, he would make the motion of taking off the gauntlets. “C’mon, man this only works without electrocuting the opponent… which I think is illegal. I know we’re here to ‘electrify’, but it isn’t literal. Despite my name..”

"Suit yourself." The Mysterious Stranger turned and stepped away, unstrapping the shock gauntlets from his gloves before tossing them outside the ring.

As the gauntlets came off, it left Lotus with the question of how legal those were, how much juice they can put out, and if they could power a city. That was a wild mind hyped on a return which reminded him— there was a match. Shaking out his own gloved hand, he would give it a quick blow and a polish with his vest, another acting stunt for particularly no reason, before offering one more handshake. “Let’s try this again, good sir.”

Twice now this man revealed his hand to the man from the mirror. The Lotus Eclipse sure was a persistent mortal. Mirage conceded to the gesture, extending his own hand to grasp Jay Lightning's.

The gesture accepted and the shake, The Eclipse would soon take his steps back with a mind now focusing more on the task at hand rather than fun and games. How to beat a Mirage? He would find out one way or another as he took a step forward and looked to engage with a lock up.

The Specter held hands front of him as he approached the Eclipse, then immediately stepped into the lock-up. Mirage didn't attempt to back the man into the ropes, or into a corner. Instead the Mysterious stranger would attempt to trap Jay's arm at either side before looking to bash the mortal in the skull with a headbutt!

Arms trapped and a head ringer, not exactly a pleasant start… but pain was always familiar and always brought a rush. Dazed but coming out of the fog would the Eclipse would look to position and strike with a knee to the mid-section

The Specter released his grip on the Lotus after the knee connected with the midsection, falling back a step away from his opponent.

With Mirage stepping back, Lotus had time to breathe. Rubbing his head from the previous headbutt, he now had a small opening that saw Jay moving in for a second knee strike to the stomach.

The second knee would be a mistake made by the Lotus Eclipse as the attack was caught by the man from the mirror! Mirage reacted suddenly, attempting to slam man down into the mat with an STO takedown.
