School was out for the summer, and Dani's 13th birthday was in less than two months. Even better, there was a 'terrible' heatwave throughout Destiny City - however, Dani and most of her family loved the heat. It could be because most of them had Egyptian Roots, or it could be because, at least three of them (namely she, and her 21-year-old twin brother and sister, Drew and Dria) had starseeds from very ancient desert (though Dria's was more water) and hot worlds (and their Guardian Kitten, Darius Ammun had lived on their worlds as well).

On a day like today, hot as a savannah wind, she knew what she wanted to do. Run like a cheetah - with the wind in her long hair. Finding a hidden place, she transformed into Chibi Super Sailor Leaena of Cheetahs, and went on patrol, racing like a Cheetah teen through the buildings. It felt awesome once more but, like always, there was still something missing.

However, there was a new aura - did she sense a Cheetah aura?

Leaena saw the older woman who seemed to be part Cheetah and Senshi too. Somehow, she felt instant kinship with her. She grinned. "I like your tail. I believe my sash was supposed to be reminiscent of one. I greet Thee. I am Chibi Super Sailor Leaena of Cheetahs. I see you are of a Cheetah world as well. On my world - I don't have many memories, but I know that they were practically equal with Humans, and they were deeply intwined in our culture - perhaps even our biology. I see they were in yours as well." She took a breath. As she did, the Sunlight reflected in a nearby Star Charm and she had the urge to play with it.

It was a beautiful tail. Leaena told her so.

"So, what was, or is your world like, Daphne?"

"I remember the Great Savannah with the hot wind blowing through my hair, as I sprinted, and I try to do it here as much as I can... but something is always wrong, something's missing..."

Leaena sighed. "How beautiful! Our Savannah was olive green. Unfortunately, I cannot say we all lived in Harmony. Leaena was the world of Warrior Women for one thing. The Women were larger and more powerful than the men, like with Cheetah's here on Earth. Women joined the military and started a Household upon reaching adulthood. Men were married off, sadly into Harems to be domestic and cook and clean and raise. Thus, for such reasons, my predecessors were normally born girls as tradition would uphold. However, the Cauldron would throw us for a loop every few generations, and Sailor Leaena would be born a boy, just to teach us, that gender doesn't." She stared in the distance, remembering what she could. "Once such, was my last predecessor, a boy named Ja, the youngest son, of the youngest litter of the smallest house, awakened at the tender age of eight. Stuck in both worlds, but accepted by neither, he was never quite seriously, till the day he lost his life, courageously fighting to save an allied world and keeping it's Chaos from spreading - and that day was the day he turned 12, the day most girls would have only begun their warrior training." She looked up, "Oops sorry, here I am rambling on, you probably have someplace to go." The heat was starting to get even to Leaena now it seemed, as a drop of sweat dripped down her face.

"Okay, thank you." Leaena smiled. "I hope we meet again some time. Here's my number." She wrote down the contact information to her Senshi Phone and handed it to Daphne.
