Elaxi had somehow managed to escape the clutches of the couple who had claimed to adopt her. They were out shopping, for her since she needed new clothes, and the little girl had slipped away. Of course the place they had gone to wasn't one she was familiar with so once she got away she didn't know what to do afterward. She'd always been bad with names but she could usually tell where she was and how to get home if she'd been there before.

Tears gathered in her eyes as she looked around for anything familiar. Elaxi was starting to wonder if she had been taken to a completely different world. She rarely saw anyone that looked like her family. Usually she saw many people that looked like her grandma. After a minute of looking back and forth she brought her hands up to wipe at her eyes as her tears were blurring her vision.

When she heard someone talking to her she turned to look at them, she had been taught it was rude to not look at someone when they spoke. However, she saw someone who shared the appearance of her adoptive parents and she froze up. Would this person take her away too? So with a frightened look she took a step back from the girl, slowly shaking her head. "N-not hungry." She wasn't sure she wanted to admit to being lost though.

Her eyes darted around to see where she was and what she could do. Elaxi knew no one in the area so she couldn't even count on spotting a friend.
