A number of the local businesses in the area have come together to organize a charity benefit. In addition to a silent auction, there is also an evening charity ball. The community has been wanting to raise funds to fix up a few public areas for some time now and in the spirit of the Star Festival, these businesses have donated several prizes to the event to encourage people to attend. Some old warehouses and estates have been cleared out by the city, so there’s a wide variety of strange antiques and hidden treasures. As one of the local residents you have been kindly invited to attend! Formal attire is encouraged but only required if you plan to attend the Ball. It’s a good opportunity to dress up, meet new people, and maybe go home with something neat. Who knows what you can find to trade with Almadel, anyway? And, he’s always back in town for the Star Festival.

When Rhona heard about the charity gala, her eyes lit up. Despite her gregarious and outgoing nature, she wasn't actually one for public gatherings. She more preferred the presence of those she liked and admired, and if those got large then that was just fine by her. However, while Rhona herself wasn't a huge social butterfly, she did have a smoking hot wife whom she loved to show off. And what better place to do that then a charity gala. And it also get her an excuse, not that she needed one, to relentlessly hit on her wife in public. Which was one of her favorite things to do. She'd watched her wife getting ready all evening, eagerly observing the meticulous application of make up and the selection of an outfit. The changing into the outfit.

It had been difficult for Rhona to make it out the door, she had to admit. The urge to ask Lavender if she'd rather just stay in was so intense that Rhona almost didn't change into her own dress. However, the urge to gloat about how hot her wife was outweighed her desire to show her wife how hot she thought she was, and the hand eventually ended up at the gala, despite Rhona's best efforts to ruin Lavender's make up. There would be plenty of time to do that later, Lavender had reminded her with a kiss, lighting every single one of Rhona's nerves on fire.

She'd married a demon, and she was having a hard time being angry about it.

"I don't think I fully expressed to you," Rhona muttered in Lavender's ear upon arrival, "how completely decadent you look, my love."
