Prompt 3: The Meteor Shower It wouldn’t be a star festival without a meteor shower! Right on time, a beautiful array of shooting stars graces the night sky. This time of year is unnaturally clear and it’s incredibly easy to see the stars. Most meteor fragments appear to be little white or yellow lights streaming across the sky, but if you watch closely enough you may find that some of them seem to be a whole rainbow of colors. The scientists have reported that it’s just different components burning up as they enter the atmosphere, but there’s something undeniably magical about it. Koeia had sensed a bright energy across the vast distances of the stars. It had come as a shock to the ancient soldier who had assumed her long and isolated vigil would never be disturbed. She had assumed that the rest of the Universe had faced a similar fate to her own tragic world, that had to be the reason she had been unable to reach any other senshi or knights for assistance in the fall of her people a millennia ago; yet that signal was proof that she was wrong. Someone somewhere still lived and there was a great power in that life. She tried to figure out where the energy originated and she eventually realized the direction it was coming from. She did not know what awaited in that system, perhaps friends or perhaps more foes; but still at least there was something there was hope.
So the senshi relinquished herself to the pull of that distant energy, she allowed herself to be carried across the stars to that unknown world still shinning with life. In the space of a breath the senshi had appeared in a strange world, she had landed in forested area on a hill. She could see in the distance strange lights and even buildings some of which were awe-inspiring towers of crystals that loomed over the more mundane buildings. Koeia wondered if the knights of this world lived there or perhaps some other kind of dignitaries. She didn't know the internal politics of this planet and she assumed what even if she did know the world her knowledge was out of date by now. She hoped she could find the royal family of this world perhaps they could help her as a foreign dignitary visiting their world.
She was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she hadn't noticed the meteor shower above her head that she had arrived in the middle of nor had she noticed the furry guardian who was stood nearby. When her eyes finally did land on the white cat her eyes went wide. "A Mauvian!?" Why was a guardian like that here? She had many questions about what was going on this new world.

Soleiyu was distinctly aware of a Senshi nearby but he hadn’t intended to pay it much attention; for right now, he was distracted by the meteor shower.
He’d thought, perhaps, that there might be some sort of debris in the air, or some other reason why the sky was lit up with such strange colors. He wanted to investigate–or scavenge, and see if he couldn’t find something unique or useful to work with.
Most of the meteors seemed to be well-burned up before ever making contact, though, so at least it was a good show. These stars were infinitely more interesting than the Star Charm he'd picked up earlier.
And then–he heard her address him.
His eyes snapped from the sky to the Senshi, and–oh.
Oh.
He knew in his heart, immediately, that she couldn't possibly be from Earth–unless she was under some spell, maybe. She looked almost human, but not enough that he didn’t immediately suspect that she wasn’t.
“Yes, I am. Soleiyu,” he introduced and stood up from where he was sitting as if to properly greet her. “Are you all right? You look like you’ve seen a ghost. I’m not, by the way. In case you were worried, I’m in perfect health.”

Koeia knelt down on the grass so that she was not towering over the small guardian. "Truth be told, I feel like I have." She answered still marveling that a Mauvian was here. "I thought no life yet stirred among the stars until I felt a bright power from this world. My name is Sailor Koeia, the Senshi of Miracles." She introduced herself after collecting herself swarming thoughts. It was a strange feeling to go from a living nightmare of war and isolation that never seemed to end to suddenly a world clearly full of life. She looked up at the sky to see a colorful shower of shooting stars. Perhaps a portent of this world's good fortune.
"Venerable Guardian, please tell me which world is this? Where is it's senshi?" She would very much like to meet them, her powers had waned significantly in the millennia but she would guess from the state of this world that its senshi must still be strong.
"How fares your world Soleiyu, does Mau still stand as well?" Was there more life out there than she had anticipated, or was this world somehow unique? So many questions floated around the Senshi's mind but she tried to focus on the most important ones right now.

Oh. Oh, Soleiyu had done this before, but it was never any easier and it felt like there were rocks in his stomach.
She said she thought there was no life in the universe, and that meant that maybe he wasn’t going to have to be the bearer of just bad news.
“I’ve been hearing a lot of that lately. You’re in good company,” he promised. He was almost not even rattled by the arrival of strange Senshi from other worlds.
Other eras.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Koeia. We could use a few miracles around here, if I’m being honest. Mau is–unreachable. We’ve got what we need–mostly–on Earth, but it’s not exactly an ideal situation. There is no Senshi here, not that we’ve been able to find. Earth may be alive but it’s something of a complicated situation, I’m afraid. A very long story, too. How is your world?” he asked, thinking it best to get the hard questions out of the way so he knew how he could best fill her in here.

She offered the Mauvian a sad apologetic smile. "I fear my capacity to perform miracles has waned significantly since the halcyon days of my youth. Yet this world seems to be a miracle in and of itself, I can't believe a world like this still exists. It is so vibrant and there was so much power I sensed here." It was a marvel, one she was trying to process, one that her tonged could never properly express.
"I'm sorry to hear that." The fact that Mau was unreachable, had the homeworld of the Guardians fallen? It was a disturbing thought, but Soleiyu had said 'we' did that mean there were multiple guardian cats on this world. That was something of a relief at the very least. No senshi, she wondered if perhaps the senshi had not awoken in the age yet? "Yet I was pulled here by a great power, does this world have knights? Is that the source of the energy?" She racked her memory for the name Earth trying dreg up long forgotten memories of travels through the stars. "'Earth, that is a world in the Silver Millennium correct?" She didn't know much about either but she believed the name sounded familiar.
When Soleiyu asked of her world a look of deep ancient pain flashed across her youthful face. She quickly hide the expression before shaking her head. "I fear I am all that is left of Koeia, that is why I allowed myself to be pulled here when I felt power coming from this world."

He understood. A look of sympathy crossed his face and he nodded. “I am sorry to hear that. And sorrier still to have to tell you that you are not the first to arrive under such conditions.”
He didn’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but there was some good news to be had, at least.
“I’ve met a few Senshi that were summoned in the same way, drawn here by a surge of power that spread through the universe. We were able to track it from the Moon, but I’m afraid there’s quite a long story behind it and there are more pressing matters to attend to first. Primarily, you are not alone here. There are Senshi and Knights–from all over. In hiding. The people of Earth don’t know we exist. So it’s important to conceal your identity and try to blend in. More importantly, because I’m afraid we’ve got a Chaos problem here, too. Two different sorts, though I’d argue the Negaverse is the worst. They steal starseeds, and can corrupt a person into a beast that serves them. They destroy starseeds, sometimes irreparably, to do so. We’re doing everything in our power to stop them, but I’ve a long list of precautions to share with you to make sure you’re safe here.”
He sat, calm and poised, and full of all the information he could share with her.
“Most other worlds have fallen. The Moon has fallen. The Knight Academy has fallen. Senshi and Knights are born here–not on their worlds. Earth is one of the few last bastions of life in the universe so far as we can tell. Though, we’ve had some otherworldly visitors.” Another story for another time.
“I’m guessing you’re going to be here for a while, but I have to warn you that Earth is…complicated. And if you’re going to stick around, you’re going to have to fit in. Humans are–well, they look a specific way. Would you let me make you something, just to let you fit in? If you don’t, the Negaverse might find you, and if they do–”
Well. Staying alive for as long as she had wasn’t going to mean much if they decided they wanted her starseed.

She thought on the Guardian's words. "Do not be sorry the fact that others survived to come here as well is enough of a comfort for me. If senshi survived, if any knights survived. Then there is hope yet still." So long as others were still alive to fight then the Universe was not lost, it could be rebuilt perhaps not as it was but as something new.
The fact the people of this world were uniformed of knights and senshi was more than a little shocking to hear. She could not fathom how such ignorance of the protectors of the worlds and wonders was allowed to become common place. But as the cat explained the fall of Moon and the Knight Academy it began to make more sense. If the senshi and knights in the area had died out and were just now being reborn but somehow the civilians of this world continued to live on it would make a certain kind of sense that their knowledge of the inner workings of the universe would be lost.
It was curious that the starseed of many different senshi and knights would find there way to be reborn on this particular planet but that was a curiosity she would have to ponder at a later time. Far more important was this Chaos Soleiyu. "They have the power to destroy Starseeds!?" Alarm and horror washed over her youthful features. Getting help for her desolate world could wait she had to assist in the effort ending such a great evil.
"Please Soleiyu help me to understand this world and blend in." She requested of the small Guardian. She needed to not draw attention here, she needed to learn about this world and the threats it was facing and it wouldn't do if she was marked as an outcast or worse a target immediately.

“Of course, gladly,” Soleiyu said, relieved that she was so agreeable. “This won’t take more than a moment. You’ll just have to wear it to help blend in. I’m afraid that there’s a whole list of things you’ll have to know to really be able to settle in, but I can go over all of them with you. We should probably get you somewhere safe to stay for the night. My house is a little crowded, but I can help you get a hotel. And I’ll make sure you have a way to contact me, I won’t abandon you in this. But I’ll make sure you have food and shelter. But I’ll have a lot to teach you before tonight’s over. Here, this should do it,” he said, and passed over a quickly assembled, albeit clean, aesthetic necklace for her to wear.
“I can customize that for you somewhere else, where I know you’ll be safe. You’ve made it this long, I want to make sure you make it much longer. I hope you’ll let me look after you a bit. And I hope that you’ll be patient enough to let me fill you in on, well. Everything. But there are a lot of people here, a lot who will want to help you.”
…A lot that would want to hurt her, too.
He wanted to do everything in his power to keep her safe.
