The Scavenger Hunt (8 ) : Destiny City is hosting an annual scavenger hunt during the Star Festival to encourage people to get out and explore their city. The prize for turning in a completed scavenger hunt is a coupon booklet and a few free tickets to upcoming city events. Even if you aren’t interested in the prize, the scavenger hunt is specifically designed to take you through the city to showcase a few historic buildings, some art installations, and some of the city’s greatest accomplishments. While many of the places are familiar, during your explorations you come across a building you’ve never seen before--something that feels out of time. You’ve been in the area countless times before, so how did you miss this place? When you lay eyes on the building, you feel a strange timelessness and have the distinct sensation of being a part of something bigger. Briefly, you may see flashes of some distant past--a flickering memory that you can’t quite place or fully form. It’s hard to make out, but at some point in time you have the distinct impression of a faded figure taking your hand and telling you to do something. They sound hopeful and encouraging, like they really believe in you. By the time you blink, the visions are gone, the building is gone. The only thing that remains is a beautiful little garden and a plaque so faded that you can’t make out the inscription.

Morpheus was on the scavenger hunt he was powered up but no one seemed to notice the difference during the star festival many were wearing strange things to be festive. So what he was wearing was no different. He wanted the prize so he took the list and started off on his hunt. He went to a few stops and found some things on the list and then went off to the next location. Soon he stood outside a building he had never seen before. Which was weird since he had lived in this city all his life. So anything new was a sign of trouble. He frowned looking the building over carefully.

Remarque didn’t make much of an effort to participate in Destiny City’s Festivals unless his daughters or his wife wanted anything to do with them. Of course, he’d been tasked with procuring Star Charms for them, and it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience.
He wasn’t out for the Scavenger Hunt, wasn’t out for much of anything out of the ordinary. People were out later than usual and were less cautious of their surroundings, so he’d been making good use of his wraiths to gather a little bit of energy. Not enough to take someone out of the running, just enough to get a little extra boost for Mirrorspace.
He felt Morpheus’ energy signature before he saw him, and curiosity nagged at him for just long enough that he had to go investigate.
He’d been gathering energy for a while now, he could take a break.
Especially for a Dark Mirror Senshi.
Arriving as an Eternal Senshi, Remarque couldn’t help but notice how puzzled the other looked. “You look like you’ve gotten yourself lost. Everything okay?”

Morpheus frowned and then said "I'm really not sure how I got lost, have you ever seen this building before, which is odd I'm pretty sure I've been to this spot before and this wasn't here." He pondered out loud. "I know my memory has been bad but I didn't think it was this bad." He turned to the figure who had joined him, "Any thoughts on this?" He asked looking at them and then back to the building in question. He also still wanted to finish the scavenger hunt so he supposed he had to go in regardless of what happened.

Remarque turned to look at the building, and though he’d been in Destiny City his whole life he found that he really couldn’t recall this building.
An anomaly, maybe. He’d been in the area often and couldn’t recall it–but then, neither could he recall what he thought was supposed to be here.
“Not sure,” he said after brief contemplation. “...But if it looks abnormal, are you sure you want to be investigating it? I’ve had my fair share of shenanigans in this town, I don’t want you getting into trouble. We’ve only just met, after all.”
He held out his hand to shake and introduced, “Remarque.”

Morpheus frowned "But then I won't be able to finish the scavenger hunt." he frowned "What was this one for anyway, maybe I can do it from out here just in case." He pondered. He didn't want to get sucked into another mirror pocket and stuck there being attacked. "Are you doing the scavenger hunt as well?" He asked Remarque. He paused and then said "I'm Morpheus." He nodded and said "Nice to meet you." He was happy they weren't attacking him for no reason. It was a nice change of pace. He had been dealing with that a lot this summer. He was glad that not everyone in the city of out to take down the dark mirror court. After all not everyone in the court was out to hurt humans or the order faction, they just wanted to save their home much like the order factions did with their home planets and wonders. Morpheus really wanted birds to live in his mirror space. He couldn't do that unless they figured out how to make the space safe for living things. He sighed "This sucks."

Dark Mirror Sailor Remarque raised a brow when Morpheus seemed so passionate about completing the scavenger hunt.
“I’m surprised we haven’t met before. Usually I run into the other members of the Court before they’ve hit Super. But it’s good to meet you, now. I’m not doing the scavenger hunt, no. I was gathering some energy. It’s been pretty busy out here, I thought I could make the best of it. Give Mirrorspace a little extra boost while there’s all this foot traffic. Honestly, haven’t had to do much. Wraiths are in and out and back in Mirrorspace before anyone’s even started to feel tired.”

Morpheus turned he hadn't noticed he had been talking to another court member till that moment, "Having your head bashed by a negaverse captain will do that to a basic. I don't even remember what I did to earn super, I just know when I figured out I was a court member again I was a super not a basic. I was a fool I know that I should have run away from Labyrinthite, I should never have attempted to fight him on my own." He shook his head thinking on his foolishness. "My civilian life is tricky and the prize to this would be helpful."

“Negaverse is like that sometimes,” Remarque said, not the least bit dismissively. “...Just try to be careful in the future, if you can. They play dirty sometimes, I don’t want you to get caught with the wrong one.”
And, he didn’t really want to risk the Negaverse coming up with some excuse to try and attack the Court. He could take care of himself, but the others?
…He didn’t want to put them through that.
He really wasn’t the sort of person who wanted to be involved in a scavenger hunt, but he cared about the Court.
“...Do you want help? Maybe if we team up you can finish faster.”

He nodded and he would he wasn't planning to fight a higher level nega solider again any time soon. "I don't either." Morpheus smiled a little and then said "That would be great."

Remarque seemed to ease a bit after that, and though he wasn’t really into all of this, at least it was a good excuse to spend some time with a member of the Dark Mirror Court and try to make something good at it.
He looked at the strange building for a second longer and then nodded. “All right. Let’s get this over with.”
