The gardeners at one particular park have put their heart and soul into creating a fairy's paradise: Fairy lights have been carefully dangled from trees to make strings of stars, little beaded jewels have been hidden among the hedges, and even the old cobwebs have been sprayed with just a touch of glitter. The park is open to everyone and the citizens of Destiny City have been invited to respectfully explore the hidden wonders that have been placed throughout. The park is magical enough on its own but there have also been reports of a strange, ethereal and shimmering stranger in the park. The glimmer of a beautiful costumed figure fluttering through the park has been passed around as rumor, and no matter what anyone claims to see, no one can take a picture of it. As if simply seeing some magical figure isn’t mysterious enough, there are also reports of mischief and small pranks being played at the same time this figure seems to appear.
Mizuki crouched down to look at the little fairy ring and house hiding among the plants. Yes she was powered up, yes she was in a community garden anyone could walk through. It was good energy draining territory! Okay really she'd just stumbled upon it during her patrols and found herself drawn into its ethereal and mystic pathways. She liked plants; after all, her sphere was a type of flower. More than that, she found them calming to be around. Something about the smell of fresh roses or lavender or lilies just... slowed her down. In a good way. In a, she could control herself and almost seem... 'normal' sort of way.
Something she needed after that whole thing with Rocka-Moron.
She rested her chin on her knees, still finding little details in the little display. Would fairies take an offering of energy? Or maybe a starseed? She couldn't very well leave hers here but... Maybe just a little orb of her energy. Something just as colorful as the decorations. Maybe she could find a way to crystalize it, talk to General Prehnite's youma lady friend about a crystal flower...
Yes, she'd do that, she decided. With a little help from Haymitch and maybe an escort.
Mizuki groaned a little. She really should move on because quotas but... it was just too cute.

One - two — “Boo Zuzu!!” albite’d been in the area already. Had the strangest run in with some people dressed as fairy folk, but whatever, what was new in DC? Not random people done up in cute costumes surely! He’d been out though, and then? Then he’d felt it — the aura of his bestest, most malicious, most purple baby senshi! Zuzubee-eater of asshats n pillager of starseeds! It was, a rough habit, but he supported her murderous hobbies like any good friend would’ve.
Which meant? When he scented her out like an aura-hungry bloodhound, well, he couldn’t help but try n surprise her! Not that his hulking figure and screaming eternal aura lent him any sort of stealth abilities, but it was the trying that counted!
“Whatchu got there girlie? Ants, buggy friends? Something pretty!” rapid fire run-on glee, and genuine interest, cause all he could see of Mizuki was some crouched but of form, kneeling in the midst of — ferns? Mushrooms? Must’ve been something pretty to cool to have caught her interest like that!

She felt him long before she heard him, but 'eeped' for the effect. Mizuki looked up at Albite and grinned at him. "A little fairy circle! I was wondering if fairies would appreciate a starseed as an offering. I'd offer energy, but it'll just dissipate back to me but starseeds are like... crystalized energy! Then I was thinking maybe I should talk to Prehney and Lanthey about a crystal flower to give to them! What brings you here Alby?" she said, jumping up and stretching her arms over her head.
She hadn't actually talked to him since all that business with Rockamon, and seemed to geniunely be excited to see him. He was a beast of a man, all muscle and tattoos and hair, but there was a sort of familiarity to him, given that he was also a corrupt. Albite was decidedly a 'big brother' in her opinion.
Also yes, if you were curious, she was very convinced the fairies were real.

Got-her! All sorts of proud for the little bit of shock he got from being expertly surprising!
She knew so many people to ask things of, he was so proud!! "I think that's an awesome idea, I think you could definitely get a pretty bit of starseed made into -- like, a crystal flower or something nice right?" soft snort and nod of affirmation, Albite was sure, one of her many guardians could probably figure out a way to sink a starseed into pure crystal, or hell, into some sort of -- what was that stuff called -- Oh, Epoxy! There it was, words for his brain worms to chew on gently. Epoxy, glitter, melted glass. Starseeds were pretty sturdy for being such soft little souls afterall.
"Hmmn? Awh, yanno, just like -- good weather, good people..ran into...uhm, an old flame of mine. The pink kind." clucked his tongue and winced entirely at the phrasing for that, he was sure Mizuki would've had an easy time understanding what to do about the whole Nectaris situation, way easier a time than he did, that was for sure. "I've also been checking this place out, had cerbs, but he ditched off a bit ago. Then I saw you, and who better to hang with then my favorite little sis? Psst - trick question - no ones better than you for hanging zuzubee!" and she didn't have the sort of hair he could comfortably ruffle, so much as he could've offered to braid it into endless pretzel lengths of things -- easier than playing with her hair, was crouching down to observe her findings.
Like a fairy ring connoisseur, like he knew something of what he was looking at. "Maybe we could throw them a tiny tea party while we wait, yanno? Lay some snacks down instead of stars or energy....." he was sure he had something in his seemingly endless void of bits n bobbles.

"An old flame? The pink kind..." said Mizuki, running through a mental list of people she knew in the Negaverse and who was pink. It couldn't be Jada, she seemed entirely not Albite's type. "Like the traitory pink kind, or the you dated for a while kind and then they left you?" Not the greatest tact, but Mizuki did have the nature of a child most of the time so tact was something she... lacked.
After all, it's like not like she feared his reaction to her words. Her words were her words, and he if he took offense, that was his problem.
Her attention was turned back to the fairy circle relatively quickly and she crouched back down to the circle.
"Oooohh yes! I'm sure they'd love a tea party Alby! We could make little cups out of acorns! And little plates from the acorn caps!" she said, excited and suddenly looking around for acorns. There had to be some around here, right?

"Yeah, the uh -- the one that left me -- she was the pink kind..." a solemn nod and softly sad eyes that got blinked away while he pulled on a better grin. He didn't feel like being sad anymore, or missing people for their 'better than him' kinda choices..."Yanno zuzu, sometimes? You're way more smart than you let on. Dunno why that ever surprises me." if anything? Hearing Zuzu say 'traitor' eased his conscience a tad, because yeah, he shouldn't've let Sylvite get away so easily -- nectaris -- whatever -- but?! But at least he'd had all his feels out and gotten his priorities straight in his mind.
It was easy enough to sprawl out alongside her, ticking over ideas and touching grass, "I don't need to miss Sylvite when I've got such a good 'you' hanging round. With all the best ideas," and her exuberance was a bright spot on a cloudy evening, what he needed right then. "There were all these -- uhm -- like treasure hunt things ducked round here. Little gems n...actually I'm pretty sure Cerbs coughed some of them up once it realized they weren't bugs."
Dug in his pockets to pull out tiny steel bottlecaps, the occasional beetle, ah -- the fake glass gems in varying colors! "Ya'think any of these'll help with the setup?

Mizuki giggled and said, as easy as she might talk about making a gift for the faeries here, "Don't worry Alby! I'll bring her starseed back to you on a silver platter while she dies of misery and loss." The words floated around them like a little song, light and airy regardless of the very real threat in them. Zuzu reaaaaaalllly liked hunting traitors. It was one of her more entertaining past times. Learning who'd they become, tracking them as they tried to hide...
Ahhhhh it got Mizuki all energized thinking about it already.
She smiled at Albite and took the little bits of pocket junk from him. He was a good 'big brother'. She liked him a lot. His cat was even more cute and super fun to play with. Zuzu wasn't like, into Albite, of course. She wasn't really into anything except murder and, currently, faeries. (Also she was very sure he was gay anyway.) But his presence was really nice to be around so she was happy he'd found her among the garden today.
"Yes! I think I'll put the little glass gems on the bottlecaps and put them in the circle! Then maybe, we can go energy gather a little? Thinking about hunting Sylvite down has made me all giddy!" The corrupt busied herself with placing the little gems on the bottlecaps and arranging them in a nice fashion inside the circle. Now she just had to work off the excitement in her limbs and she'd be back to a more level place.
She had more ups than she had real 'downs' since Metallia took her fear from her, but it always a sort of gamble what level of chaos Mizuki was running at at any given time.

"Holy ********, Mizuki......" his jaw dropped, his eyes swelled with small bits of wet that still lingered from the aftermath of long minutes prior, and it wasn't shock, or disdain. Instead it was the roiling emotion of gratitude and love all meltily mixed and stuffed together like a feelings calzone.
"You'd really do that for me, wouldn't you?" It shouldn't've been her place to do so, he was the older -- maybe -- bigger -- in height -- super-eternal-senshier of the two, and yet? His precious Zuzubee seemed to *get it*. She could carry the burden he struggled with. Do the thing which *needed* to be done, with a smile, with a song in her heart and love for her team! He had to swallow around that, a slow rough thing as he reached out to hug her instinctively. All the ways she was better at some things then him when it came to -- to -- well -- all his stupid, sticky, mushed up feelings. "I don't deserve you. None of us do."
And her giddiness was infectious enough that he was quick to let go and ensure all her hard work arranging the fairy-breakfast club was nice, neat, and presentable for their intended spirity guests! Fairys deserved nice things too, afterall.
"If I can't get her, get Sylvi---Nectaris? If I trip up on this cause, yanno, I'm me. Then you can do it, definitely," surely she had the drive, could succeed where he faltered and failed in this one particular area. Albite snickered about it, the small wave of relief for having her resolve to shore himself up on. "Now! Finish up n then lets go get you some good energy, and maybe along the way we'll find some shitty people to stomp some pretty starseeds outta -- can't leave your plant dad and faustfather without some new ornaments, yeah? N who knows -- maybe theres some youma we can ask about making the pretty crystal thing. They tend to come out more often at night, yanno. Some of 'em are even really good with things like that!"

Mizuki just grinned at him and held out a hand so they could skip out of the garden and to find some pretty little crystals for her dads.
