Normally, the idea of going out into the Star Festival and dealing with all the weirdness that cropped up during it, would have been less than ideal to Octavian. Even more so when Faustite was still at large for torturing Cybele. The world didn't simply stop because someone he cared about was hurt. No, unfortunately the world just seemed to turn faster. It annoyed the hell out of him.
So he'd taken the girls out to go see the lanterns - and to get new star charms. The second part was kind of a surprise, to be honest, and he already had the little green, blue and orange star charms in his pocket. He'd gotten enough so that they all could have a complete set of the other's colors. Look it was super cliché and silly, but he was feeling loving and silly and completely smitten with the two girls and wanted to do something nice for them damnit!
First though, was getting some lanterns for the apartment, and going on a little date-thing with them.
"So lanterns or milkshakes first?" he asked his companions.
