The Caves (5) : To any explorers visiting the new Reservoir, they may find that just a bit away from the sandy water are a set of caves. Some of these connect back to the lake, but others rapidly plunge into darkness. It wouldn't be hard to get lost in here, but thankfully there are some very odd lights to help guide you out. If you turn off your light down some of these dark paths, you may find yourself surrounded by glowing pastel lights. A closer inspection reveals that you seem to be looking at some sort of glowing caterpillars. An internet search will reveal that Destiny City scientists have been researching the strange, unnamed creatures, but the articles are very limited. If you take them out of the cave they seem to shrivel up almost immediately. They’re neat, but clearly meant to be stay in their natural habitat.

By all appearances, Sailor Tyrannosaurus was made for this.

She was pretty sure she saw something run in here, and in the distance she was almost pretty sure that there was an aura. Being two kinds of less than positive was enough of a push to get her to go toward the entrance of the creepy looking cave. It was just what an adventure like her would do, if she indeed came from a game or a movie.

What if someone was in danger? Lost? Or what if that movement had been a youma? There could be a den in here! And if she was not the first to discover it, then maybe there was someone who needed her help clearing it out already inside. There were just too many options to simply walk by the strange cave, and now that she was inside and she spotted the little glowing lights, she knew she had to keep going.

Weirdness was magnetic to her, and attracted her to the most fun experiences. Half of those were also incredibly dangerous, but not enough so that their memory deterred her in any way.

Bringing a flashlight probably would have been a good idea, but it occurred to her several turns into darkness too late. Thankfully, there were little lines of light that, upon closer inspection, looked to be bugs.

Caterpillars?

"What are you guys? Tiny. glowy, youma?"

Sailor Abramov was also in the cave system. He was doing an amateur photo study of rare flora in the cave- and was getting nowhere fast. Both in finding flora and in finding his way. He had been in civilian form, however, when he had gotten lost, he thought he had heard someone call out - or maybe that had just been him. Either way he had powered up and could now sense another aura nearby. An Order Senshi Aura. He followed the aura in the dark and came across them in a cavern full of pastel lights...

"Uh... hello?" He was desperately confused and not just by the lights - the twists and turns were enough to make him kind of dizzy.

"Oh!"

T-Rex had a bad habit of losing her focus, though at least this time she had been somewhat aware of an aura this time, instead of just letting someone walk up on her and catch her completely by surprise. Still, she was trying to talk to small, glowy bugs, so it was not exactly the best introduction anyway.

Grinning ear to ear, though, she waved her hand at the confused looking stranger that stepped into the dim glow of the cave. There was not a lot of space in this particular hollow, but it was still better than some of the tunnels. Especially for two people.

"Hello! Came exploring too, huh? Hard to resist the call, sometimes! Have you seen these little guys? They're just glowing! Hopefully they're not radioactive or something."

"Yeah, I kind of study unusual flora though photograph - uh oh dear- where's my camera?" Now Abramov was really confused. Where was his camera, had he set it down?

"Yes, very usual caterpillars, I believe DCU scientists are doing a study on them - there's articles online." He said now interested in them, when she brought them up. "I'm Sailor Abramov, you?" He asked, gazing upon the creatures.

"Your camera? I didn't see you carrying one, but I guess you only just got here! That's gotta be interesting, though, studying flowers and stuff. Photography is one of the many things that always looks so beautiful, and would be really fun to have as a hobby, but I am absolutely trash at it."

She laughed. Maybe her focus was just too easily split for things like fine art. While she knew how to apply herself to things like grinding levels in video games and hunting every last achievement or trophy she could, that same dedication found itself lacking when it came to other endeavors. School had never caught her attention as much as it could have, and art was wrapped up in it. She dreamed of being great at something, something others could enjoy as well, but so far had not figured out just what that was.

So she did her best to succeed as a senshi, as it was the newest chance she had been given, and seemed like the most important so far.

"Going to study them, huh? Hope they don't hurt them. Poor little guys, I doubt they get out much. The caterpillars, not the scientists." She paused, then grinned at her own accidental joke. "Though I guess I should be worried about them, too! Oh, my name is Tyrannosaurus, senshi of fossils. Nice to meet you, Abramov! That's a cool sounding name."

And it sounded more like a star and not, as hers was, an actual dinosaur.

Abramov frowned, that was an expensive camera - he had to back to find it.

He nodded at her words, "It's not for everyone, though sometimes you just need to find something interesting to you take pictures of - for instance, for me, flowers - and not just any flowers - rare ones - their beauty and their awesome attributes, but most important - what they provide to us and Earth itself. That is what I want to share with others. Now, if you can a hobby that excites you that much, I'm sure that you will be able to hang on to it." At this he had a smile of pure joy on his face.

Jerking his foot, a little in nervousness, he noticed a Star Charm go skittering off into the darkness.

He then laughed at her joke, and nodded at her comment, "Well, the creatures are part of nature too... I'm sure they help the world in their own way."

He beamed. "Thank you! I really like yours too. Awesome sphere as well. While I like that mine is a flower... I'm not really sure I like the flower itself... However, there is a connection between your sphere and mine.... albeit very loose connection." He did not look happy about it.
