Misplaced (13) : Things are just vanishing. Maybe it’s the heat, or the chaos of the times, but even if you swear you put something somewhere, it might be gone. Maybe as quickly as you exit a room and return. Usually it’s only small things; sometimes you might hear a strange rattling just before something disappears, but once it’s gone, it’s gone. So far, it’s mostly things that aren’t too big, but recently there have been reports of cars just disappearing, too…

It was not very often that Tyrannosaurus had forethought. She was not exactly a tactical person, and did not exactly exist to make or follow 'plans'. Really, she liked a spur of the moment kind of lifestyle a lot better, where she could just change her mind and do something else at the drop of a hat and things did not fall apart because of it.

Plus, she had trouble with deadlines and timeframes. There was absolutely no 'getting up earlier' or 'accounting for traffic' for her, either, so she was often late to anything she did agree to do. For some reason, her entire being seemed to reject the whole concept of a schedule.

So for her to think to bring a snack, so she could stay out and patrol without worrying about her stomach, was a bit of a surprise even to her. Somehow, she managed to get some food in a paper bag before she left the house, and she left it on an inconspicuous nook in an alley when she powered up. she figured she could patrol for a few hours, then come back and refuel for a second turn.

More experience, and thus happier hunting.

Standing in the alley, she found herself staring in dumb shock, and increasing, burning anger, that the paper bag was gone. No one would have come down here and taken weird bag food that was just left in a shadow, would they? It did not look like anyone besides her had been there in a century, as only the trash can she bumped on the way out was moved, and the lid was still on the ground, in the path to the exit, where it had fallen behind her.

Either someone worked hard to make it look like they had not been there, or no one had, in fact, been there. Neither made sense. All she could really be sure of was the fact that her food was gone.

"What... where..." The brown clad senshi looked around in wonder at first, then with an increasingly frantic, hand waving chaos to her movements as she struggled to search the area to see if it had simply fallen. Of course, there was really no where for it to go, even if it had gotten legs and jumped into the bin itself. Which she did check for, just in case, but in her short experience in the city as a powered individual she had never really encountered something that strange happening. She was just checking to be absolutely sure, not because she had any reason to believe it had actually happened.

At some point, she would probably learn to check the impossible because, in the purest sense, nothing was impossible now.

Had someone really stealthily stolen her food? Who would want a bag of food that was stuck in an alley? Who would even pick it up, let alone find that it was actually fresh. She would assume there was a reason it was abandoned and leave it alone, but then, she supposed there were more unfortunate people out there. And lots of cats. Maybe that was it. A cat had come in and made off with the whole bag, leaving no trace behind.

Frowning sadly, she had to accept the fact that she would be returning home hungry, and could only solve the problem once she was there.
